Wroclaw is Poland’s fourth-largest city and the capital of the Viovodship of Lower Silesia. Originally (in medieval times) built across several islands, the city still has many lovely bridges and beautiful architecture. The Rynek (central square), lined by colorful buildings, is one of the city’s most popular destinations.

We have taken 2 rooms with attached bathroom in the Old Town 3-5 minutes walk from main market square. The only inconvenience was picking up keys 5 minutes walk from there. You can leave them after check out in the box which was perfect. They could instal some check in box as well there. Rooms were basic but with kettle, tea, coffee, towels so all you need. That's why it is also good for business.

Vanilla Hostel&Apartments is hostel with more than 40 rooms and few apartments. All of our rooms have sepereted beds and bathrooms. Guests can use free kitchens and car park, WiFi is also free.
The beautiful building is newly renovated, and you can see that there was a huge work done, but nothing works as it should. Space is organised without any idea. They made such stupid mistakes like hanging curtains which doesn't cover all the window. There are smoking areas on the staircase (what an idea?), full of drunk and loud people all night. Acoustic in the property is such, you can hear your neighbors snoring. Or shouting. Depends on them. You hear every door slapping. It's so annoying. I can't imagine having a good rest here.

I got bitten by bed bugs on my first night there. They did give me my money back and relocated me to another hostel (but they didn’t tell them over the phone I had had a bed bug problem over there, which is quite unfair to them). I had to spent some money on medicines, money which I won’t get back. As you may see on the photos, I had a serious allergic reaction to those bites (not sure how my hand didn’t explode haha). Funny thing is, when I first went talking to the girl staying in the reception she didn’t seem to care (I first thought it was an allergy reaction to the products used to clean the sheets). Yeah, she actually didn’t. I don’t recommend this hostel.

I guess this hostel reflects what was Eastern Europe in the staff are abysmal and you would not know there is a pandemic because they don't give a damn! Their method of coping with a pandemic is to place vaccinated and unvaccinated people in separate rooms. This however does not stop people from mixing with each other in hallways, in the breakfast room and generally being in areas with restricted ventilation. None of the staff wear masks so one can assume that if you wish to catch Covid this is one of the ideal places to stay. Service in Poland unless staying in an upmarket hotel, is, at its best is average. The staff here take this to the extreme. Absolutely horrible attitude. There has to be a better place to stay than this! Forewarned is forearmed!

We stayed two Nights in this Hostel. The Location is very good, only 5 Minutes to walk to the Rynek. There is a Parking Lot in the Backyard, too. We took a room with a double Bed. The room was big, clean and cozy. It was on the streetside, so we had a good view to the old Town. The disadvantage was, that it was EXTREMLY noisy in the night, we heard the traffic, the Tramway and the Police. This is why we slept very bad. Another Advise: Take the double Room, because the rooms with the two Single Beds are very narrowly. The Double room costs only 5Euros extra per Night. Another disadvantage was the unfriendly and bored staff. Everytime when we passed the reception, the receptionists looked in her Smartphone and didn't say anything. Normally Hostel staff should be friendlier. There is no breakfast in the Hostel. But I recommend you to go to "Cafe Charlotte" which is only a 5 Minutes walk away. The Brekfast there is awesome.

Elegant and inexpensive...In the heart of Wroclaw, near the Main Market and Old Town, in the Four Temples` Quarter there is an unusual, mysterious place, perfect for relaxation after a day full of impressions. Just imagine... "old fashioned” rooms - with wooden beds, hand – made tablecloths and net curtain, little lamps, old paintings and photographs...- this is our Hostel. We have internet, kitchen annex, TV and free morning coffee and tea. Reception is open 24h and our receptionists are friendly. They will do their best to help you. We invite you warmly!
I loved this hostel. Central location, large and clean rooms and a beautiful vintage atmosphere. The staff is helpful and smiling. Excellent value for money.Higly recommended for people traveling alone or in a group.
