lovely family hut
Reviewed By qing0519Few family huts have rooms for a group of 6 in Veliky Novgorod, Home Hostel was the one. It was close enough to stroll to the old part of Veliky Novgorod, good base for travelers. Our dorm room had a fireplace and lovely setting, a good Russian traditional living taste. A brother and sister ran this home stay, they didn't speak much English but are very hospitable.

Mini-hotel / hotel (European hostel ) in the center of town with all the amenities ! BM Hostel V. Novgorod are seven spacious rooms on the same floor , three toilets, two shower, large cozy kitchen with everything you need , as well as polite girl administrators who are glad you at any time of the day or night. You will definitely enjoy with us! We have everything you need for a comfortable stay !
The WORST HOSTEL!

First thing is ...everything written and in the pictures are lies. -24 hour reception -friendly and helpful service -clean -doesn't look like pictures, because they're all in fish eye(makes everything look bigger), and probably taken when it was brand new. My experience: My father, my cousin, and I have been traveling around Europe and Russia for 7 weeks now, and have stayed in 20 different hostels. This was by far our worst experience ever. The woman who works there is the rudest person I have ever met. From the very first interaction, when we got there at 7am (which we had emailed the day before and let them know we would be arriving at this time) we had to ring the door bell several times and stand outside for 10 minutes. When she finally woke up and came to the door she got angry and crossed her arms in an x and yelled no no no in my cousins face. Then after checking us in proceeded to go back to bed. The only interactions i had from then on, were her yelling at me and crossing her arms in an x! When I didn't put slippers on; when I left my purse on the table; and when I left two noodles in the sink after cooking (even though the kitchen was a mess and I had to clean it up before I could make anything, and cleaned it very nicely after I was finished). I never saw her clean anything, and the garbage inside and outside were so full, it looked like they hadn't been taken out in weeks. Our bedroom was also dusty and dirty. 24 hour reception was a joke, as she was usually just lying in her bed with her boyfriend. Honestly the worst customer service I've ever experienced, seeing as we were paying to be there, it was quite upsetting. I Highly recommend you stay somewhere else.

Disapointing
Reviewed By Tomasz KThe Hostel seems ok on photos but it's less than decent in reality. Firstly one of the showers have a crack and because of that water spills all over the bathroom. The owner lady know English at a very basic level (like 2/3 words in a sentence). Moreover I had to wait till 14:00 although my room was prepared sooner. Breakfast was unsatisfying. On the first day there was cold fried potatoes, peeled beetroot, egg and a dry cake. Wi-Fi access and small kitchen compensates all this a little.

Beresta hostel with a common lounge and round -the -clock reception is situated in Velikiy Novgorod and just 10 min by walk from the city center. Free Wi-Fi is acceptable in the common areas. The lockers are also available in the hostel. Common and single rooms with a common bathroom are proposed to the guests of the Beresta hostel. Free parking is near the hostel. Different kind of entertainment could be organized for the guests for an additional payment.

Reviewed By Traveler771673Останавливался здесь уже второй раз. Первый раз ночевал один в общем номере. Второй раз приехали с женой когда путешествовали на велосипедах, забронировал номер на двоих, очень понравился. Помимо приемлемой цены, стильного интерьера и чистоты, хочется отметить то что тебя не напрягают кучей правил, которые в других встречающихся мне хостелах поднадоели своей навязчивостью. Короче отношение администрации к гостям очень лояльное и либеральное. Рекомендую.

Очень уютный хостел номер чистый , тихий от слово совсем только кровати и столик .Телевизор только общий в низу в гостевой. Есть место для приема еды , душ. Расположения интересное ( туалет в низу на право, душ общий тоже там в низу на лево , кухонный уголок так же там в низу он прямо). Рядом магазины, кафе. Очень приятный персонал. Мне понравилось, хорошее место для полного отдыха после суетливого дня для раздумий разборов своих мыслей.

Очень уютно и тихо

Находится практически в частном секторе, Мы с супругом выспались как никогда, персонал вежливый и обходительный, предоставили информацию по экскурсиям, рассказали и показали, где можно искупаться(2 минуты от хостела) В самом хостеле большая общая зона с книгами. Мы забронировали двухместную комнату за 1400, очень уютная, нам понравилось)
