The best available Hostels hotel to stay near Valencia

You’ll find plenty of orange trees here, but the fruit known as the "Valencia orange" was actually developed in California. Travelers interested in local food should focus on paella instead. While the city contains many monuments, Valencia’s modern crown jewel is the City of Arts and Sciences, a futuristic complex of museums, cinemas, theaters, and more.

Breakfast was four euros and small (very basic) in case you need it. Otherwise great vibe at the hostel and easy to meet folks. The rooms were clean and shared bathrooms were nice. Location was near the historic core. Nothing above and beyond other hostels besides a great location in Valencia and easy to meet other people.

What a great find, right in the center of old town. Sonia and Carmen were very accommodating with helping me find my way around the city. It’s lovely to see a family run a lovely hotel. My room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast is not offered but they are in such a great location you can turn the corner and there are many restaurants and cafes. They have a coffee machine that you can purchase coffee in the morning and their bakery offers a lovely assortment of fresh baked goodies (complimentary).

It’s best to pay 20€ more and stay in another place since you won’t be able to sleep at all. No AC (in a summer night with 30celsius) only a lamp-fan that squeaked all night. The bed and pillow are super uncomfortable. The shared bathroom could be cleaner. The breakfast is literally a toast and juice or coffee. The one positive thing: the kindness staff.

In an excellent location near the beach and harbour, which is lined with cafes and restaurants; there is also a metro station about 2 mins walk away. The hostel itself has a very fresh and modern appearance, with a well equipped kitchen, large seating area and a cafe/bar onsite. The rooms are comfortable and clean with each bed having a locker assigned to it, as well as having a curtain, own light and socket. Laundry facilities are available, and the bathrooms are of a high standard of cleanliness. Overall its great value for money and a great experience.

Good if you are happy with 11am checkout

Good location on a main street with plenty of bars, cafes etc around, including a great choice (Elite) for breakfast and 'menu del dia' just opposite. About 15 min walk from Ave station and 15 min walk from Estacion del Nord. Less than 10 mins to metro station. We took bus when went to see the Museum of Arts and Science and the beach etc. Had a toddler with us and Valencia is very good with plenty of parks etc. Hotel is on first floor of an apartment block and has a lift. Clean, manned reception, helpful and friendly staff, decent sized room (although bathroom a little small). Supermarket round the corner for essentials. Some street noise, but no mozzy issues and no noise from other rooms, which was a delight especially as they were full. Would stay here again at these prices. They charge extra for cots for toddlers which is unusual in Spain (although they do say this in their terms online, so we were aware). Checkout at 11am and they would not budge. Again, very unusual in Spain as is normally midday. With a toddler this meant the morning was more stressful than it would normally be. This would be my main gripe as they were not at all accommodating about this aspect and is out of line compared to their competitors. Hot water was not constant, which again was annoying when showering a toddler as you have to be careful, but we have experienced worse.

Very good stay

This place was a life-saver as I was arriving in Valencia and yet by 1900 could not find a room! Thanks to Paula from another Student House that introduced me to Jennifer who could accommodate me in Damia Bonet! The building is used by students during the year and during holidays can host external guests. For me, it was simply perfect. I had everything i needed in the room (even a kitchenette that however i did not use) and equally important for me, a safe place where to park my car. The room was cleaned every day and the building is perfectly maintained. The building is at short distance from the underground. the only minus is that I had to find a place where to have breakfast but that turned to be one more thing I have explored in the city. I felt for 3 days again as a student and that, for me, was a bonus point! If you are fine with the concept (this is NOT a hotel) I would definitely recommend it. Thank you again to Paula and Jennifer: you made my day!

Lovely stay

Reviewed By Zutot

We had such a nice stay here. Wish we could have stayed for longer. Very comfortable, large room in a super convenient location for getting into the city - just a few stops by metro into the centre and the metro station is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. They have parking on site, an outdoor Gym, some bedrooms have a big jacuzzi in the middle of the room, and they offer complementary coffee and cakes for breakfast in the morning. I really recommend this place.
