A mystical experience in a magical place
Reviewed By jayovesA truly tranquil hostel in the midst of Songkhla. If you're searching for a place to truly relax, discover yourself and search your soul, look no further. My gentle longings for love, life and adventure were rekindled in this magical place. It is a place for soul searching and self re-discovery. The owner is full of humility and grace. He reminds me of a long lost uncle of sorts. Full of wisdom, and colorful life experience. An architect by trade, he structured the Hostel to feel like a serene, meditative home-away-from-home. After staying for more than 10 days, I've fallen in love with the atmosphere of Songkhla, the small town vibes, and this hostel.

Such a welcoming hostel
Reviewed By amyjellenLovely quiet hostel, ideal for a place to stay on your way through Hatyai. The hostel is really quiet, spotlessly clean, and the staff are lovely. Would recommend to anyone. Caught a Grab taxi to the bus station for 100BHT.

Hatyai Backpackers Hostel - the first Hat Yai hostel! We are backpacker that we know what you need. We provide basic as you need in hostel such as cheap accommodation, clean and good information. Located in Hat Yai downtown, we're an easy 9 minutes walk from Hat Yai Railway station.
Very hot in dorms
Reviewed By Carl BDon't know what some reviewers have been smoking, but this place is average at best. I know it is June, but even with 2 fans on me it was too hot. The place is rather cluttered, not exactly clean, and the legendary friendliness of the owners didn't seem to apply to me or the others present that day. As for the common area by reception the less said the better. I'm not saying don't stay here, but some of the reviews are so over the top that I wrote this one to give a more balanced impression of the place. It is near the train station, which is a plus, but it's not the only one. In fact others are even closer.

Cheap and clean
Reviewed By B9408ACevabStayed 1 night for transfer to Lipe. Had family room with own toilet. Staff very friendly. Had excellent breakfast in the morning before pick up. Hostel arrange transfer to the Islands. Took taxi from the airport and it only took 20 minutes.

Good dorm room
Reviewed By KruizaDorm room (4 bed) is good (2 up 2 down). Staff good price great. Close to lots including bus and train station. Downside A/c only kicks in from 18:00-09:00 so if you want to lay in bed it gets warm. shower hot water (all of them) are broken though the water is ok to shower with. Stairs only however they are not difficult.

Minimal Hostel sit in heart of Hatyai city, easy to Bus terminal Train station and A/P. Our room have private bunk bed and dormitory type and Air Cond in every room. Have common area for freeze, microwave, hot water, drinking water, table wares. Free WiFi in every area. TV and board games. And you can get travel information at 1st floor with in work times
Little gem
Reviewed By JulieConway831When we arrived we were shocked to realise the twin room we booked was actually a small room with bunk beds and a shared bathroom. This was a new experience for us but we went with it. They lady said we could look at the room and if it was no good then it is not a problem which was very good of her. She also offered us a different room as the one we booked can get noisy with the traffic. The room was great although the beds were very hard. The bathrooms were very clean and there were drying racks on the shared balconies for your washing. We also rented a bike to explore the area. The owner also gave us all the information we needed for our onward travel. Breakfast was nice too. Would definitely recommend

our hostel have 3 shared room, 2 single room with share bathroom, 1 single room with bathroom all including breakfast. our hostel is just 5 minute walk from Hatyai Bus Station and close to Night Market & Hatyai Central festival. you can enjoy with our nice rooftop with mountain behind city view.
An awesome night in the 25 hostel
Reviewed By zootarzanWe have just stayed here for a night to transit to koh lipe but the experience is beyond our expectation. The staff, just TK, is extremely friendly with his K-pop passion, also super caring indeed. The facility is still new, rooftop is beautiful. Breakfast is included with milk, cereal, cakes,etc. The location is great, just a stone-throw distance from the night market and Centre Festival.

Modern tropical style hostel. We have a good cup of coffee and homemade bakery for you. Very close to transportation and next to the biggest shopping center in Hat Yai.! (Central festival), also just walk to night markets (Greenway & ASEAN bazaar).
Lofty and perfect for solo travel
Reviewed By granadina88The room and bathrooms are exceptionally clean, you don’t need slippers to go in. The location is perfect too since it’s near to almost every famous markets around Hatyai. They are all just of walking distance from the hostel.

well placed if arriving by train
Reviewed By Jason Ea nice hostel, staff a little unengaged, distant but otherwise all good here. i recommend using the a/c room. i was in the fan room one night on the top floor. i was bitten alot by mosquitoes. i wasn't bitten at all in the a/c room. showers were ok and the breakfast good. but when i asked for a knife there was great consternation in nature. a knife to spread my jam i should say, not to kill or maim a fellow inmate. so anyways, i can recommend this place!
