A place to meet really lovely people in the best location in Sayulita—less than 5 min walk from the beach and plaza yet far enough away that you can’t hear the all-night parties going on. Can’t wait to return.

Selina Sayulita is a sanctuary for wellness and surf, surfacing the forgotten and almost unknown indigenous culture of the town’s past, celebrated in a fresh and contemporary way through diverse rituals and different activities in our Pool, Restaurant and Cowork. a unique experience that will give back sayulita what it was ages ago. Fun Fact: Each Selina prodcut belongs to a different spirit animal that will guide to an parallel dimension in a mystic connection with pre-hispanic roots to connect body, mind and sou Playground = Casa Jaguar , Surf Club = Casa Garza, Co-work = Casa Hormiga, Wellness = Casa Pajaro
This is a nice hostel in the middle of town. But after staying at the nearby Viajero Hostel this place just can’t compare. Viajero is bright, airy, & cleaner w/ good looking people, vibes, & insane views. The beautiful atmosphere at Viajero makes people immediately open up and befriend you. They have an indoor coworking space that doesn’t have windows but you are able to work outside. I stayed at Viajero Hostel & made the terrible mistake of switching & booking to Selina. Again, Selina is nice but in no way compares to the magic of Viajero hostel. I’m so sad I didn’t book Viajero longer ?

The front desk has 24-hour service and a variety of restaurants are located within 5 minutes’ walk. This hostel is 600 metres from the Jalisco-Puerto Vallarta Motorway and 30 minutes’ drive from Punta de Mita Town and Banderas Bay. Puerto Vallarta International Airport is a 30-minute drive away.
The hostel "dorms" are so bad. The rooms dont even have walls and there are beds in the hallway. It is extremely dirty, blood stains on the bed. Canceled my booking after I've seen the dorms, they look completely different than on the pictures online. Staff was unfriendly, didnt give me a refund. Worst place ever. Maybe private rooms are a bit better.

MORE THAN A HOSTEL... YOUR HOME IN BUCERIAS 2 bedrooms total. One Bedroom with 6 beds and the other one with 14 beds. Camping in back yard during high season. Clean bathrooms and showers, kitchen, back patio with garden, tv area with netflix, bedrooms with AC and ceiling fan, free WIFI, One price... all included: High quality mattress, pillow, sheets, blanket, towel, night reading light, lockers and continental breakfast. Great price for a great hostel. Excellent location! Half block from bus station and 4 blocks from the beach. Located on the main highway 200. International highway Tepic/Guadalajara - Vallarta. In front of coffee point, restaurants, laundry, doctor and gym. Half block from bus station. One block from super market, banks, bars and drug store. 4 blocks from the beach. The beach is only 4 blocks were you can do paddle boarding, surf, kite, swim, parachute, have fun!! FROM AIRPORT (one bus): Take off the airport and walk to the highway (3 min), once there you will see a bridge that goes over the highway, walk through this bridge and once on the other side wait for the bus that says "Bucerias, Sayulita or Punta de Mita" (going north). Bus is around $14 - $18 pesos. Ask the driver to let you know once you get in Bucerias, it will be around 30 min later. Once you get in Bucerias you have to take off on the first bus stop passing the 1st stop light in Bucerias. As a reference on this stop light you will see a Oxxo, Bancomer Bank, Farmacias Guadalajara and Chedraui... all four together. The bus stop is about 80 meters from the stop light (There is a Corona Store in that corner). Once you take off the Hostel is in front of the bus stop on the other side of the highway. Hostel has a light blue facade.
Everything was ok. Free breakfast. Clean. Thanks! Very close to the beach. They let you have beers inside the hostel. We meet nice people. Laundry facilities available for an exttra charge. Nice garden and roof top with ocean view

Punto Mita Hostal is the first hostel in Punta de Mita perfect for backpackers, surfers and peolpe who like outdoor activities and love the ocean. We are located in the town only 4 blocks from the beach, our roftop terrace is the perfect spot to realx, watsch the surf spots (la lancha, el faro) and met people from other cultures. We have AC Hot water Wifi Laundry Kitchen Grill Comon areas
I had a great time and ended up extending my stay to spend more time surfing and exploring the town. The hostel provided a great home base for me to explore the town (far enough away from the tourist-y strip along the water to enjoy the local culture and still close enough to walk to the beach easily). My towels and sheets were soft and there was a great remote-controlled AC system in my solo room. The hostel was also super clean (it was cleaned daily in the morning during my entire stay). The roof top is a gem of a space, great for hanging out at sunset and in the middle of the day to avoid the heat. There's some street noise but overall, noise level depends on the other guests staying at the hostel so I'd recommend bringing ear plugs if you require uninterrupted sleep. Best of all - the staff who I met were helpful, friendly and fun to get to know :) Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable, authentic experience in Punta de Mita!

The photos make it look like a boutique hotel as do some of the descriptions. But this is a hostel with a few shared bathrooms for a lot of rooms. Our room was tiny with a double bed. The check in staff were doing their best with the 3pm influx of check ins.

We booked the Hotelito Rustico for 6 nights online. We had never been to San Blas before. If we had realised the hotel was some way out of San Blas we may have stayed somewhere else. As it was we had an excellent stay Our room was fairly small but it had a great bed and was cleaned thoroughly every day. The shower was great. Good water pressure and lots of hot water - stayed in hotels in Mexico where hot water may or may not happen. The hotel is situated right on the beach, miles of it shelving gently into the Pacific.. There is also a developed malecon of several miles which we enjoyed every day we were there with our dog. Our hosts were friendly and attentive. They provided us with fruit and one day we were given a loaf of delicious banana bread. There is an OXXo next door and a palapa with food and beverages close at hand but we did find that if we wanted more variety we had to use the car. This was a negative. I am not sure what is going on in the area. It is naturally gorgeous and obviously at some point was seen as being a focus of development but there is very little happening and the beautiful malecon and pier are going to gradually fall into disrepair. We really enjoyed our stay and felt we had excellent value for our money but we are concerned that if the surrounding area is not maintained (not the hotel's responsibility this) then the whole area will decline. It would be very sad.

The staff are really friendly and really inclusive which can be hard to find at hostels. There is a party vibe every night but no pressure to go out if you don't want to. They have good 2 for 1 drink deals on too every night, like margaritas etc. for 90 pesos for 2. The free breakfast is really substantial and everything is really clean and tidy. The beds also have a light and a fan which is great as it gets really hot in Sayulita. The location is right near the beach too so it's easy to pop down from a morning surf or an afternoon at the beach. Highly recommend it, we loved it so much we came back 5 days later and stayed another 3 nights.

We rented the “penthouse” for a week stay. While the location is amazing, that’s about all this place has going for it. The room we booked was suppose To have a full kitchen, but besides a fridge and stove, we had 2 mason jars for cups and 1 bowl. Bedding is limited, and had to ask for extra blankets, and was able to be given 1 extra. we had to purchase a blanket at a vendor. The large, beautiful patio seen in the photos is a common area, available for all guests to use, but our room was located upstairs, so no privacy at all. halfway through our stay, we were told we were not allowed visitors at all as per hotel policy, which we were never made aware of. Still unable to find any information on hotel guests having visitors. The day staff can speak English well, but if your checking in anytime after 6, be prepared to use a translator if your Spanish is weak, as she spoke no English. We had to wait an hour before anyone arrived to check us in initially, which after a 8 hour trip, waiting another hour just to be let into a room was not a great start. House keeping was great, and the location is top notch, but the price per night is not a great reflection on the services or amenities stated. We were told breakfast was included in our stay, but the restaurant is 2 blocks from the hotel, and was finally told that on our last day. On arrival, we were told to go to patio A1 for breakfast…..
