He took us to a tour of Uros Island and went out of his way to help all his customers. I recommend him for all your tour needs in Puno. Not only that, he was able to assist us with helping the Island people to market their handicrafts.

We really had nothing to complain about: The beds are very comfortable, the showers are hot and strong and the staff is friendly and obliging. There is wifi on every floor and the rooms get cleaned every day. Breakfast is above average. Excellent!

The staff was VERY accommodating! After our stay was over, we went to Taquile Island for a night. We we returned we had a long wait before our bus to Cusco. They were gracious enough to hold our large bags so we were free to have dinner & stroll around till it was time for our bus. In fact after talking with them, we could have actually stored the big bags there while we were at Taquile & wouldn't had to lug them to the island. Would definitely stay there again just because of their hospitality! 5 star service It was a little thread bare, lighting a little dim, but otherwise fine. 3 star room

Went on a holiday to Puno, and found the price and the accommodation excellent. The staff were very helpful, specially the young man working there, he was always attentive and happy to help. The location is very central, a short walk to the cathedral and also to the main market. Room was very clean and spacious.

A nice men met us at the bus station offering don Tito as a possible accomodation. Just because of curiosities i have checked all the others in the neighborhood proving my self that it was the best choice. Comfortable beds, hot water, good internet and perfect location.

Do not stay at this hostel. Worst hostel I have ever nearly stayed in. I booked 3 nights in this hostel and didn't even stay for one. The male receptionist was really unhelpful and was on his phone the entire time, I had to stand and wait for him to finish what he was doing before he would even help me, which in fact wasn't helpful at all! I arrived early so was told I could leave my bag in the baggage room until my room was ready....this was a open room with no lock on the door etc so not secure at all. When I did then eventually get my room key after being made to pay for my stay, it was awful. There was mould in the bathroom, the tiles looked like they were ready to fall off the wall, all of the plug sockets were burnt out so I couldn't charge anything as it was unsafe, the door looked like the person before me had tried to escape also because there was a massive hole in it, the paint was coming away from the walls and there were no curtains just a net so all the street noise below and the sunlight would just shine straight into the room. I went down to reception to voice my concerns due to the unsafe electronics Etc and to ask for a refund as I refused to stay. I was told that I couldn't have a refund and basically it was tough! Even know I had only just paid! In the end I booked an overnight bus to Arequipa and didn't stay any of the nights planned! I spent one day in Puno, saw what I wanted and left! I have stayed in many hostels and this was by far the worst ....I should have known when I was checking in because the couple in front of me checking out hadn't had a working shower for the entirety of their stay! Can't say if my shower worked or not as I high tailed it out of there as soon as I could!

For my own room (with my own bathroom, my own TV & also an egg sandwich for breakfast), I would say it was a "super great" rate of 10 US$ a night for my 2-night stay here to visit Lake Titicaca (compared to the place I stayed in Cusco for the Machu Picchu visit where I paid "more than twice" as much just for a bed in a 4-bed dorm), and yes I was also quite thankful for being able to check in right away the first day (after arriving quite early in the morning by an overnight bus from Cusco) getting a good rest before going on a "full-day tour" on the Lake the next day. Also great about this place is its location in a "vibrant area" where there are a number of "shopping streets" (with plenty of shops for souvenirs & miscellaneous and quite a number of restaurants along both sides of the streets some of which for pedestrians only) and two squares one of which being the city's "main square" Plaza de Armas (with Catedral de Puno on one side). And among the restaurants in the area, one I can suggest (for its nice & "quite filling" meals at pretty reasonable prices) is the Chinese restaurant just a few minutes' walk from this place (a left turn after coming out followed by a right turn after two blocks where it's shortly on the left side of the street).
