Loved this place. Tucked away on a back road. Beautiful garden overlooking a river. Full of birds and bird song. Breakfast was superb. Presented with great care, attention and pride. Don’t pass up the Chiang Mai coffee. Our hosts were just so helpful with advice, tips and a ride when we needed it. You can walk out of the hotel to three local shops within 100m and then numerous street stalls on the main road within 5 minutes. We stayed mid week and did struggle getting both food in the evenings as most were shut. We will be returning.

More Than Sleep Hostel , an exciting brand-new hostel (opened December 2019) with a great location on Mittrapap Road, in the heart of Pak chong city center The hostel is just a five minutes walk from the vibrant night market and surrounded by plenty of local street food. The main bus and railway station ;as well as, public van stops can be reached within a ten-minute walk. Boost your brain and make a new day fresh here at Khao kan public park, just opposite us. ***Highlight and Amenities*** 1.Free Wi-Fi and free private parking 2.Smoke-free property 3.Great location with friendly staff 4.Separate men and women shared bathroom with free toiletries, hair dryer and water heater 5.Spacious room with air-conditioning 6.Shared common room, outdoor mini-bar with city and mountain view 7.Guest kitchen and self service laundry
Tout était top! Chambres et salle de bain propres, personnel serviable et sympa. Peut-être un peu bruyant car notre chambre donnait sur la route mais avec les bouchons pour oreilles, c'était ok. Position centrale, proche de tout.

We booked a family room, duplex pax 4, double bed down and double bed up. The room was new, bed was comfortable and amenities full such as tv, fridge, kettle, tea and coffee, hair dryer. Overall, we were very happy with the room. Breakfast was small selection but everything was good. A few points to comment: The bathroom smelled from the drain. Wish they had fresh coffee.

Bright idea, you won't believe the amazing renovation of this old house in Pakchong (Khao Yai). Hello Hostel Pakchong is home to 3 bedrooms. All rooms are fully furnished and many even provide such comforts as non smoking rooms, air conditioning, chill balcony, wifi and television. With it convenient location such as Pakchong Train Station, Bus and Van Station and concenience stores.
Think Khao Yai, Think Hello Hostel. Great location. Very near to Pakchong train station, morning market, night market, lots of local food stalls/shops around. Great service by host, her name is Bow. I went twice and brought along groups of friends. B Bow can help to arrange for almost everything before our arrival. Just get in touch with her through FB n chat.

WE Pakchong Hostel is a boutique hostel for hipster backpackers, and any visitor wanting great value, and a friendly service and atmosphere. It has high speed WiFi throughout. WE has two large 10 bed dormitory rooms with aircons, plenty of showers and toilet facilities and secure lockers. Its stylish interior design is spacious, relaxed and comfortable.

We've been her for a long weekend and enjoyed it so much to stay in this beautiful place along the small river. It's very calm and peaceful and it's so relaxing to sit on the small terrace or in the restaurant. The room was nice, altough quite small and it feels a bit like living in a container due to the construction material. The bathroom is proper but not luxurious and the shower head needs some descaling; the water poured out in a narrow jet. For us, it was not a big problem and the setting was just so nice and it was awesome to sleep with the window open, feeling the fresh air and listening to the river. The mosquito net at the door had no leak so no problems in the room. Only considering that the standard was not high-end, the room price is pretty high. But as far as we've seen that's the case in the whole area... The owner and his son were welcoming and very nice and they can speak English. Still service-wise they could improve a bit, for example helping better with transportation matters for guests like us not having a car. We asked in advance how we could get there from Pak Chong and received an unhelpful answer. When we arrived in Pak Chong (quite late, because of the Public Holiday traffic), we couldn't find a bus and had to organize a private taxi for 500 baht. A pick up service or more information would be great. For the way back to Pak Chong we asked if they can call us a taxi because we didn't want to wait for the Song Thaew a long time in the sun, but the staff just said no they can't. Also, it would be more convenient if they could organize Motorbike rental, because the rental place at the park entrance is too far away to walk. The breakfast wasn't that good, they serve fried eggs, cold ham and sausage and salad with a sweet sauce and some toast bread, jam and cereals for self service. Would be great to offer butter and maybe some fruits and the meat should be warm. One of us was vegetarian and the lady just ignored the request not to put the meat on the platter, altough we sad it in Thai. However the criticism should not belittle this place too much, because all in all it's still very nice and the location is worth a lot.
