If you are looking for diversity, you will certainly find it in New Hampshire. From lakes to beaches, waterfalls to woods and mountains to sea coast, the state has huge potential for outdoor vacations, including downhill or cross-country skiing in winter. With no less than seventy-five state parks that offer natural areas, hiking trails, beaches and historic sites, New Hampshire caters for a variety of tastes. Crawford Notch State Park in Harts Location has picturesque waterfalls, wonderful mountain views and opportunities for viewing wildlife. You can go hiking and fishing there as well as pay a visit to the historic Willey House. Monadnock State Park, unlike some other state parks, is open all year round for hiking. Want to go swimming? You will find five state park beaches along the coast of New Hampshire, such as Wallis Sands with its view of the rocky Isles of Shoals. On North Hampton State Beach and Jenness Beach you can have a picnic as well as a swim. When you've finally had your fill of fresh air, head for the Museum of New Hampshire History in Concord with exhibits focusing on heritage and traditions; children should enjoy them just as much as adults.

Located on 180 acres of primarily forest land, and equipped with modern facilities and educational infrastructure, we offer the ideal setting for a sustainable get-away any time of year! In winter we offer rental snowshoeing equipment and groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. When the snow is gone, outdoor enthusiasts enjoy hiking and guided garden and forest walks, while mountain bikers can enjoy free run of the forest trail system. D Acres is the perfect place to stay for rock climbers, located within 10 miles of the Rumney Crag! If you are looking to stay at our organic farm, D Acres offers a range of sleeping accommodations. Site options include private indoor bedrooms, rustic camping, car camping spots, outdoor tent platforms accessible by car and foot, and indoor sleeping bag spaces. Access to a full shared kitchen, great room, two full bathrooms, solarium and other indoor amenities. There is a resident cat that occupies the building. Prices range: $10-$95.
My wife and I drove up here from Boston to spend one night camping before hiking some of the White Mountain peaks. This place is a trip - farm animals, greenhouses, and wildflowers all over the place. We grabbed one of the couple tent platforms, but there’s also a lawn for renting if it’s more crowded. The outdoor kitchen (pictures attached) was very charming, though I’d recommend bringing your own stove. They did have running water to rinse dishes. You can shower for something like $2 for two minutes (we didn’t need to for our stay). Anyway, a rustic spot with more privacy than hit average camp ground and a few more amenities. We’d definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

Affordable accommodations in the White Mountains, NH. We offer shared bunk rooms and private rooms for hikers, climbers, cyclists, skiers, snowboarders, and other White Mountains visitors. Just one mile off Rt. 93 at Exit 32 (Lincoln/N. Woodstock/Kancamagus Hwy/Loon Mtn). Make us your White Mountains base camp!
Great location. It's near Lincoln and some of the hiking areas. The rooms are clean as is the kitchen. The kitchen allows you to cook your own food. The other guests are great also. They have some great ideas about where to hike. It's a great place if you're travelling solo since you're almost guaranteed to run across other hikers.

The hostel has 5 bunk rooms with 28 beds and 5 private rooms. There is big common kitchen and common dinning and meeting area. The hostel is super clean and friendly place to stay. We specialize in groups of 15-40 people.
I stayed at the hostel for 2 nights. For $35 it couldn't be better. You have just the amenities you need, like a towel and shower and a full kitche. For guest use. It is clean and welcoming. If you are looking for somewhere to stay during ski season, or while hiking the Whites, I highly recommend resting your head here. There is a full assortment of records to spin or puzzles to do as you wind down from you latest adventure. I dont think I could ask for better accommodations.
