Though Mumbai can feel chaotic and crowded, there are peaceful moments to be found here. Nibble a paper cone of bhelpuri while you stroll the sands of Chowpatty Beach. Then, take a short walk to Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi once lived, strategized, and was ultimately arrested. The markets are spirited places to bargain for spices or souvenirs. Take a guided tour of Dharavi – made famous by "Slumdog Millionaire" – for an eye-opening glimpse into what Mumbai life is like for nearly a million people.

With awe-inspiring views of Mumbai’s busy urban landscape, these king-bedded rooms really showcase the city’s splendor through wrap-around floor to ceiling windows. The thoughtful, contemporary design combines modern technology like 42-inch LED TVs, Bluetooth radio, and bedside USB charging stations, with warm walnut furnishings.
Poor Front office staff. They are not rude, they will simply stand like a dummy there. Every now and then the maintenance guy will be there to repair some or the other thing while you are in room. They only provide 1 bottled water a day, After that they charge you for every bottle. And they clearly told me just 1 bottle complimentary. That means if you have booked room for 1 day, only 1 bottle. So visit this hotel during month of Ramzaan. They will make your fasting easy. Bathroom soap dispenser was broken. When asked to repair the same, the cute front office staff asked me to take bath with a soap. Soooo much of love. I doubt if this hotel belongs to government sector because they behaved like one. Only one advantage... Location. That is it.

With a cafe, a common area full of games, and a Bollywood themed rooftop, being bored is not an option here. With various stay options suiting all kinds of travelers and experience Mumbai like a lcoal.
Worst place to stay. Don't even in your wildest dream recommend this to even your worst enemy. They will cancel your booking on their own, shift you to a deluxe room in spite of your suite booking under pretext of maintenance and charge you the entire amount for suite. Welcome to Hostel Mantra, a community of travellers, explorers and wanderers. We are located in the biggest suburban district of Mumbai - Andheri. Tucked away in a calm and peaceful neighborhood, this green oasis is perfect place to relax and take some time out after surviving the craziness of this city. Hostel Mantra is a community with heart and a chance to experience the real West-Mumbai.
We had booked 2 beds in a 6-bed female dorm. The property was filthy, not at all maintained. The kitchen area was dirty and stinky. The Receptionist, Rohit, was rude and did not help us out when we said the bed was broken. Instead, he put a bottle cap under the bed to balance it out. The stairs to the top of the bed literally came out in my hands while going up and were dangling from side to side and Rohit on top of it said he has fixed it by putting a nail in the wooden plank of the bed where the iron rods are not even connected. He lied about everything to us. People are staying there for months and have misused the entire place. They have so much luggage and have used the place of other guests too. There are no rules and regulations making it difficult to even spend a night in the hostel. I would suggest this option should be your last resort.

Bathrooms and toilets available here; Room service, hot water, and air conditioning.
The dorm is located near Lotus Petrol Pump. They charge Rs. 400 to Rs. 450 per night and it is worth only for the amount you pay. There is no restaurant, no common sitting and chatting area and most of the travelers are those who are very low on cash. It is not recommended to have a dorm experience over here.

Cohostel in Mumbai has been set-up in the heritage, Indo-Portuguese style village of Ranwar, in Bandra, the queen of the suburbs. A neighbourhood which is close to the most popular sights, interesting places of the city and the hub of nightlife with the best of restaurants, cafes and galleries. Featuring vibrant mixed and female only dorms with Bunk-beds, reading lights, air-conditioning, lockers and complimentary WiFi. Each dorm of 6 has an attached private bathroom. One of the dorms is reserved for females only. Complimentary breakfast is available on the rooftop terrace that offers a library and board games. A laundry service is also available. Set in Bandra, the liveliest part of Mumbai, this hip hostel is 5 minutes on foot from Bandstand, the shore-front promenade, a 5 minute walk from the fashion street, and 2 km from Bandra railway station. The Mumbai International Airport is a 20-minute drive from CoHostel and Bandra Railway Station is an 10-minute drive.
The hostel is located in one of the most fun areas of Bombay - Bandra West! It's a bungalow in which the first floor and terrace serve as a backpacker's hostel. There is a beautiful orange door that greets you and asks you for the security code. So if you have been staying here, you have the code, punch in and you are in. If you are new, visiting - just ring the doorbell and they let you in. Then the smell of parked shoes hit you and that might be the only bad thing about this place. Once through that, it is a breeze. The rooms are nice and clean. The beds are comfortable and I got a good night's sleep here after days of tossing and turning in expensive Airbnbs. Female dorms have extra leg of security so no one can just wander in and their washrooms also are the best, yes women! And then there is a fantastic terrace to keep you occupied through the stay with a pool table, some books, board games, workstations, single beds to lie in and a mini kitchen to heat up or even cook stuff. And if there is anything that you feel like is missing, just reach out to the staff there and they will make sure that you have a fantastic time staying there. A big shout out to Mahendra bhaiya and Raj bhaiya for sorting out whatever came my way. I was not expecting this level of customer service in a hostel, honestly so surprised and happy. Give it a go guys and give a big smile to the staff for me.
