Liverpool's fortunes have historically been tied to shipping. But imports and exports like sugar, spice and tobacco pale in comparison with Liverpool's most famous export of all—the Beatles. Relive the hysteria at the Beatles Story Experience, and check out Paul's childhood home, but also leave time for exploring Liverpool Cathedral and the Walker Art Gallery.

We happened to be passing by looking for a place for breakfast and we spotted that Selinas was open for breakfast and I am so glad we did. We had a lovely smashed avocado on bloomer bread with feta and chilli and it was delicious. The other breakfasts looked amazing. I would definitely recommend

Perfect location here. Tucked away, so it's not too noisy, but in the perfect location for a night out in town. We had a triple room. It wasn't overly fancy, and gave hostel vibes, but that's all we wanted. Private bathroom and ample space. Beds were comfy. Staff were an absolute credit. Would definitely stay here again

I loved the park across the place it was quite nice, the room I was staying in was very cozy and I thought everyone was kind and nice around me, the relax room downstairs was nice, there was a little sort of party at night that I loved and the staff were really understanding I felt like I could have a joke with them and a nice time. This was definitely the best holiday I have ever had. From Zak Carson.

Stayed here for the football it's a 5 min walk to anfield. It's a great place for a bed for the night. I couldn't find it as Google maps took me to the wrong place, I rang and Lee came and met me and showed me the room etc. I couldn't have been made feel more welcome. Would definatley recommend to anyone looking a room for the match.

YHA Liverpool Central offers contemporary accommodation at budget friendly prices. We have a range of different rooms, all of which are en-suite, and we have suites and premium suites available to book for special occasions. There is also a cafe bar where you can grab a drink and a snack, or a meal after a day of sightseeing.
Very noisy. I was not in front of the clubs and I could hear the music inside the bedroom. You can't sleep. There is no kitchen, and the staff won't let you use the telephone for an emergency. It is very good located but very noisy. There are also no shared lounge areas.

Spotlessly clean, however no hot water! Reception staff were lovely but even after the boiler was reset, it was still cold. I only stayed one night so it wasn’t the end of the world. I’d stay again as it was very comfortable, close to the Docks & clean. I’d keep my fingers crossed that the boiler worked next time!

Had a wonderful stay at the Selina hostel in early February 2022. All staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The room were clean and comfy with nice beds and bathrooms. A particular mention to the breakfast service and Denise who was wonderfully helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Really enjoyed my stay and the city and would happily return.
