Reviewed By Miro4The room was epic and AC was great. The two girls that work there are very very competente and polite and helped us almost 24/7. It‘s nice to meet new friends. Its clean and it has a bar. The drinks ate the bar are not cheap but have a reasonable price. Thete is nothing negative about besides the breakfast hahahah, hope to visit again! Definitely one of the nicest hostels I have been.

We are in the midst of our Corona self-quarantine (no guests infected) and I want congratulate Universo Pol as the owners, management and staff have taken every measure and gone beyond to ensure all guests are safe, well and above all happy. Like most, I've been travelling for quite awhile and I have visited many hotels in my time globally but Universo Pol has stood out as strong contender and I can confidently say it is now in my top three favourite places I've ever stayed, I absolutely highly recommend a stay here be it for a night or weeks, you won't regret it!

Reviewed By RogerP1234This hostel feels like it is your second home. The owners are extremely helpful and will do everything to make your stay as nice as possible. During rainy days the tv room is very chill. You can watch al kinds of American TV series. The breakfast is very good 1 note, if you want to meet many new people this might not be the place, because it's not that big. But Martine and Marcus will definitely tell you where to find the parties. So do not hesitate, this is the hostel you need Perfect hostel!

Espaço aconchegante e equipe super acolhedora!

Chegaram até mesmo a intermediar o envio de nossos bagagens por lancha para Valença! Somos muito gratos a esse casal de hermanos muy buena onda! rs. Além da acolhida, nos deram diversas dicas legais do que explorar na ilha. A equipe, em geral, é toda muito agradável, assim como a pousada, que é simples, mas muito aconchegante! O quarto em que nos hospedamos era bem espaçoso com uma cama de casal + uma beliche, possuía ar condicionado, assim como uma varanda com rede super delicinha que dava para área da piscina e para uma vista da mata ao redor. As manhãs e o entardecer na varanda nos presentearam todos os dias com o canto gostoso das cigarras e pássaros e uma vista realmente linda de palmeiras e abacateiros. O custo benefício vale muito a pena e a pousada fica próxima ao centro da cidade e de vários restaurantes, bares, mercadinhos e comércio geral. A limpeza do local estava sempre em dia, e todos os dias a equipe arrumava os quartos e banheiros. O acesso é por meio de uma escadaria mas são apenas alguns lances de escada para a entrada, nada muito extenuante. Com certeza voltaríamos a nos hospedar por lá!

Reviewed By Marleen vThis hostel has a great location right near the beach. The staff is super friendly and the girls cleaned the rooms well every day. The breakfast is extensive and tasty. I stayed in a dorm with 8 beds. The price per night is cheap for what you get. I highly recommend to stay in this hostel, i had a pleasant stay. There also was the possibility to cook and in the kitchen you find fresh cold water. It was nice to cook with a big screen and travel music at the background.

All travelers, solo, groups, young, old, should go to Farofa! Morro de SP is a small island. You can walk everywhere and get to know the people from the island very easily, as well as other travelers and there is plenty of opportunity to relax and explore.
