This city on the central Vietnamese coast is a well-preserved example of the important Southeast Asian trading port it was from the 15th-19th centuries. Already a common stop for backpackers, it is becoming better known to tourists. On the 14th day of each lunar month, the town trades its electric lights for traditional colored lanterns. Sights include the Japanese Covered Bridge and the Quan Cong Temple. Let the town’s expert tailors make you some bespoke clothing.

Showcasing a sun terrace and views of the garden, Little Leo Hoi An Homestay is located in the Tan An neighborhood in Hoi An. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. A flat-screen TV is featured. You will find a shared kitchen at the property. The family stay also provides free use of bicycles and free breakfast :)
Unfortunately this place appears friendly but it is all fake. I got told when I arrived the single room that I booked had been upgraded to a better family room, and that it was ‘better’ The next day I got asked to move rooms. I was on my way out and asked if I could just stay in the room I was in, they agreed. The day after I got up very early to rent a bike, so I could ride in hoi an without much traffic. I was stopped on my way out and told to move rooms. After a discussion I agreed, but it took time to repack everything up and move so I wasn’t happy. The new room was nicer but had mosquitoes as there was a gap under the door, when I tried to find things in the room to block it they asked me not to, so I ended up using my beach towel. On checkout they charged me an extra 20,000. It was a mistake, they said when I questioned it. But I didn’t feel that it was.

This homestay really nice, rooms are clean, beautiful style and the owner really friendly. We was feeling comfortable while staying there. Just 10 minutes to go to beach and only 3 minutes to cycling to coconut village, but there's really peaceful place. Really good for anyone wants to enjoy the quiet time

This place felt like a fun hostel with the amenities of a hotel. Large, clean, beautiful private rooms and a great bar with an awesome outdoor area. Staff was especially helpful, specifically Andy (sup man!) who helped my girlfriend and I choose everything from daytime activities to where to eat in town (great Indian food rec). He went out of his way to help us and really made the experience at this hostel one to remember. Hands down the place to stay for backpackers traveling through Hoi An.

Ve and Tao are such caring and warm people. This is a green oasis next to the beach where you can totally relax but as well enjoy the cheap and good spirits during happy hour (from 6PM till the night finishes). I preferred staying here (a bit away from the city) and going into town with their cheap rental motorbikes. Even with the corona pandemic they stay open for people if they want to stay here because they don't want to close the hostel if people prefer to stay here. That's how caring Ve is. It's easy to socialise here, Ve organises karaoke nights or you can talk with her if you want to do something else. She's very open for ideas and want to make everybody happy in her hostel. The food is delicious, the 7 dogs are a lot of fun and the water is hot enough although you won't probably need it here. I'll come back for sure! Love from the Belgian girls ♥

This is a lovely honestly that we'll be pleased to return to. It's 'kid's in a neighborhood, with access to the locals eateries, which we prefer. Old Town is in walking distance (if you like a 15-30 minute walk, which we do), and you can bike to the beach. Breakfast is excellent and The iced Milk Coffee is a real treat. Then and her mother are excellent hosts and go out of their way for gusts convenience.

Love.Ly Hostel is a comfy and cozy hostel only 30 seconds walking from the old town. We have spacious shared dorm rooms (4 - 5 people/room, NO BUNK BEDS), with comfy pillows and mattresses, curtains, huge lockers, air-conditioning and fan, modern and clean en-suite bathrooms with hot water showers. Our restaurant has amazing DAILY happy hour deals with a good social atmosphere.
The best hostel you can go, dont doubt it. Rooms are spacious, dont have chunk beds. The breakfast very nice. And Ly is awesome, very kind and resolutive. She even teach you new card games! The mood of the hostel is very friendly, you can meet a lot of people. And she organizes family dinners (local dishes) where you can help to make dinner, have dinner and meet the travelers at the hostel. The location is perfect too In the hostel, you can book bikes, bike to hai van pass, bicycles, Tours etc. I dont recommend the Ba Na hill tour, very touristic and quite expensive
