You are entering a place of beauty, peace and comfort. Ubud, the centre of art and culture of Bali welcomes you, and for complete experience we invite you come to Nick's Pension. A great deal in the middle of Ubud Just off Monkey Forest Road in Ubud. Around 10 minutes walk to Ubud Center / Market. Approximately one hours drive from Bali International Airport.
The Indonesia style house caught my eye at first sight. Nice garden, pool and room decoration, except air-conditioner noise and cold water.Besides, the banana pancake tasted good. Not a good place for luxury trip but a good experience to learn about Indonesia life.

For one night it was okay, little bit of both worlds. It was a quiet place with a lot of greenery and the pool is nice. The room that we were in was room 9. The bed had yellow stains in the sheets. Water from the shower was draining on the floor.

Stayed for 1 night in Feb. Beautiful hostel looking on to rice paddy. Such a lovely place to stop and relax after being in Seminyak. Helpful staff with getting me into town on the back of the scooter and simple breakfast provided.

We absolutely loved our stay in our glamping tent, in the beautiful, cool, lush, tropical garden at Ubud Tropical! The pool & garden were in excellent condition, as was the communal kitchen & lounge area. The staff were friendly, & Putu manager was very helpful. It it quite a walk to the centre of Ubud, but we did it every day. But next time we stay at Ubud Tropical, we will rent a scooter. The glamping tent could have done with some hooks to hang clothes, bedside lights & new, blackout curtains on the little windows. But these were all minor. We booked for 2 nights, & then booked for 2 more!

We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring ubud. The location is perfect as it’s right in town and a 5 minute walk away from monkey forest. The bungalows themselves are basic but clean and perfectly good enough for a few days. We had breakfast each morning which was lovely served to our room. There’s also a nice little pool but we never got the chance to use it as we was so busy. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in ubud.

We went to eat at this place in the afternoon , cool place friendly staff . I think they were preparing a live for the night or something like that , the woman that was singing was AMAZING!!! I really enjoyed my lunch with her singing , she was giving a very beautiful vibe and joy in the place ! The food was very tasty , not expensive as I remembered , reasonable prices . Worth the visit !

Spent 3 wonderful night in this modern, comfortable room just a few minutes ride , or 20 minute walk from the very heart of Ubud. This is Balinese hospitality at its very best. I will always return here. Very comfy 4 poster bed, excellent wifi and the families warmth will melt your heart

I recently stayed at Alam Pracetha Bali in Ubud for 15 days. It was my first overseas trip by myself and I was nervous, to say the least. Upon arrival, I instantly felt safe and welcomed by Kevin (the manager) and his beautiful family. I made a new best mate (the little 5 year old boy who lives there) who is hilarious and loves to play games and fell in love with their newborn baby girl. Profits from this hotel/hostel go towards supporting children's education at the nearby school, which Kevin's 2 boys attend (15 & 12). Kevin arranged for me to teach English there for a few days, which was a life-changing experience. It was humbling and so fun and would highly recommend, the kids there LOVE it when foreigners go there to teach them English. They were so well-behaved and cooperative. The food at Alam Pracetha was delicious and so affordable, I LOVED the sweet corn soup and had their special green coconut pancake with fruit every morning (as breakfast is included). Although the location is about 20 minutes drive from central Ubud, Kevin goes into town almost everyday so can give you and ride and pick you up in the afternoon, otherwise a GoJek is so cheap to get or renting a scooter is possible through the hotel. The rooms are clean and beautiful and are cleaned every couple of days. The laundry service is quick, cheap and done to a very high standard. Kevin's wife and student who work there are so friendly and welcoming. Kevin is incredible and I always felt very safe with him. He is the local village healer as well as hotel manager, so he is friends with everyone in the surrounding village and is great for giving local tips. I was so sad to be leaving Alam Pracetha as it felt more like a home than just a place to stay. I would highly recommend this place, I cannot wait to go back!!

Lovely large room with balcony looking out over the roofs of Ubud. Set in a beautiful Balinese family home compound in the heart of Ubud. Lovely hot water shower, delicious breakfast included. Ayu & family were welcoming, friendly hosts. Great value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, & would definitely go back again!
