Awesome view, great service and great rooms. Edie no only served out table but give excellent advice about places to visit in the island. He even called the car rental company and reserved for us what they call "Mulas" which is basically a Golf card for up to 6 people. We practically visit the most interested places in the Island thanks to his help. I will come back for sure.

Dreamer Santa Marta brings to Santa Marta a fresh concept in quality budget accommodation. Here you can indulge in a bit of luxury at backpackers rates! Escape from the Caribbean heat enjoying our big swimming pool, hammocks and garden, large communal kitchen, TV lounge, bar and Italian Restaurant. Our vibe is relaxed and the hostel is located in a strategic position just outside the crowded city center but on the way to the Tayrona Park, Minca, Taganga and Rodadero. The city's bus station "Terminal" is three minutes away and in the immediate area you'll find supermarkets, a bilingual cinema, ATM etc. Travelers from all walks of life are welcome and we look forward to hosting you soon!
Room was spacy, amenities were simple but effective. It definitely is more of a hostel geared towards a younger crowd who like to have fun.... so don't always expect to it to be quiet. Nevertheless, really well-run place and great location for a Santa Marta stopover especially if you're looking to travel further north to Parque Tayrona, etc. The staff there are well-informed and always helpful. Gabriel, Jesus and Carlos (at the bar) were always approachable and helpful.

Relax and enjoy the nature seeing the ice peaks from the Caribbean Coast in Colombia right in between two rivers. An amazing swimming pool, gourmet restaurant, great drinks, nightly activities, and private access to the beach, all surrounded by beautiful gardens and the tranquility of Palomino... Live the dream! The town of Palomino was developed on sacred territory by several indigenous ethnic groups and is surrounded by a unique natural ecological system, one of the most spectacular nature reserves on Earth: the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Its snowy peak is clearly visible in the morning from the reception and is the highest coastal mountain range in the world with almost 6,000 meter peaks only 40 km from the Caribbean Coast! We invite you to preserve and help us take care of this nature and at the same time enjoy it. You can tube down the Palomino river or bathe in the cool waters of the river or walk to the other river, San Salvador. We look forward to seeing you soon!
We had an amazing time in Dreamer, we highly recommend it. Staff was amazing, particularly Juan David who made our stay great fun. The location is great, the beaches are a paradisiac dream. We recommend the visit to Quebrada valencia and the lobster at the restaurant.

Located in the historical center, definitely the ideal starting point to discover the city and enjoy everything it offers. Come immerse yourself into Colombian's culture in one of the most famous republican house of this Caribbean city. A rooftop here, some patios there, a sky-view pool, the background sound of a guitar and the famous "buena onda colombiana" floating in the air... The place where your backpacking experience step to a higher standard...A very complete ofer with 12 private rooms, 6 confortable dorms, a restaurant, travel and event organizations and much more! From local cooking classes to advanced steps of salsa, be involved in Colombian culture, thanks to daily typical events!
The fan and the air conditioning (which was not possible to turn off) in my room was extremely loud. Felt like I'm sleeping with a diesel generator next to my head and of course I couldn't sleep all night. Someone in the room told me that he stayed there before and it was the same, so the hostel must be aware of this, yet it continues cashing in on that room. It's like renting a bike knowing that it has a flat tire. Because this the most expensive hostel in town, I find it very upsetting, especially for the night of lost sleep. Also, the room is very dark and the bathroom continuously smells like feces, because of the ventilation shaft.

Bogota is one of the most open, welcoming, and exciting cities in Latin America. The northern part of the city includes the Zona Rosa neighborhood with its hip restaurants, wine bars, shopping and nightlife, as well as the open-air market of Usaquén. Be sure to check out Zona T, a pedestrian-only paradise of shops, bars, clubs, food and the vibrant heart of the city. Selina Bogotá Chapinero is located in Zona Rosa, the coolest part of one of South America’s most modern cities. The buildings are beautiful and the streets are safe and pedestrian-friendly. We’ve got an array of dorm options for every budget, as well as private rooms and suites. This city is complete with everything from cozy coffee corners to places to shop til you drop and/or dance til you drop. Enjoy the hipster neighborhoods of the north, take a trip to the museums in the city center, or head to the mountains for breathtaking views.
I made a reservation for 3 days, 2 persons. Second day I received an e-mail for check inn although the reservation was made for 3 days later. I tried to explain the situation using the hotel e-mail. No answer. Had to book in another hotel. Later I was charged for the full period without any explanation.

Coffee Tree Boutique Hostel sits on 6.000 + sq meters of land, which we use to grow our own food, feed or two beautiful horses (Manazanita and Tamara), and for our three very friendly German Shepherds to run around. The house has a 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains and valleys along with ample of communal space for one to enjoy, be with a group of friends enjoying a nice cup of freshly brewed coffee or just on your own reading a book.
This is one of the best hospitals I’ve ever stayed in, really exceeded my expectations. The town was beautiful, the food was great, but the accommodations really made it all worthwhile. It was clean, the staff was super helpful and nice, thank you for the balcony overlooking the mountains was breathtaking. The hammocks, the yoga mats, everything really was amazing. The breakfast for great. I would stay here again you have to go

Had a blast at Viajero, it’s a great place to stay. Wonderful roof terrace and pool. The rooms were nice and very clean. Especially the team was super attentive and helpful. Upon arrival Monika greeted us at the reception and she even talked fluent German. I felt very welcome from the start. Good party and drinks as well. Highly recommended!

Nestled in Aguacatala, a leafy suburb of El Poblado, Medellin, Ivy Hostel resides in a Colombian mansion centrally located just 5 minutes walk from the metro and Universidad EAFIT. We're owned by the same family that owns Hija Mia Coffee Roasters, and consequently, have the best coffee a hostel can offer in Colombia! We also offer professional Spanish and Yoga classes.
Ivy hostel was the first hostel I have been to, and it was a great experience! I am an exchange student at the local university in Medellín, and my plan was to stay at Ivy for a week to get everything done that I needed to do to prepare myself for the coming semester. The hostel is super cheap and very nice. They have warm water and comfortable beds. If you are concerned that your Spanish is not good enough to communicate effectively, do not worry, just ask for Sarah or Victoria (and I'm sure others) and they will speak to you in near perfect English. Coming to Medellin, I was also very concerned about things I needed to do such as find an apartment. The staff helped me find a great place to stay and helped translate the WhatsApp messages I did not understand with my now landlord. There were many times I needed advice on Colombian culture or what to do around the city or even just needed my passport copied and printed. Every single time they were so happy to help me and I am so grateful for an amazing experience. Lastly, and probably the best part. Ivy is a great place to make friends and talk to people. I went out to bars and restaurants with people from the hostel (locals and visitors) and it was a blast. Would recommend your next stay at this place.
