I am sure there are wonderfull rooms in that Pension. But the room we had was a complete horror. Very small, dark room, humid and with a bad smell. One small window that opened to an alleyway and everybody who walked by could look into the room directly on the bed when that window was open. So it was not possible to open the window, not day not night. That why the room was so humid and smelled bad: Because you can never open the window. So the room was a small dark cave. The noise from the alleyway and the restaurant closeby til latenight and again from 8 in the morning is not worth to mention compared to the quality of the room. It was so horrible, that we left after one night, even we had reserved and already payed for two nights. Forget the money, but staying in such a horrible room was no option for us.

Los dueños nos trataron genial. Vinimos al camino de Santiago buscando descansar y hemos dado con un hostal limpio, tranquilo, hospitalario y acogedor. Totalmente recomendable para visitar el pueblo. ¡Gracias!

As others have said, the good part was the people in the reception. I got to rent the solo room 111. It was completely infested with black mold. The wooden floor soaking wet after a shower. Basically like an earth cellar. I managed to get 1 night refunded out of three. It's a scam, since reading reviews carefully, it has been like this for well over a year. Do not stay here!

Andrea is your hostess at this hostel. She is very warm and communicative - her English is excellent. The room was very clean and well equipped, there is a lounge area set aside with cooking facilities, fridge etc. The hostel is very well located and central to the best part of the city - you are minutes away from the beach and equally not far from all the services and facilities that Gijon has to offer. I left my cap there by accident only for Andrea to track me down and offer to post it to me. That is what I call great service!

This albergue is amazingly clean and well kept. They have rooms with bunk beds or dorms where each 4 beds are curtained off. Extremely helpful and friendly staff but no English. The albergue and lobby are closed 11 to 3 for cleaning. Good continental breakfast and hot water on showers. Best value for money possible.

We are a little hostel. We rent individual beds in dormitory rooms and private rooms, dobles or for groups. There is a full equipped kitchen and a living room for common use. Most of our house has a beautiful sea views over San Lorenzo beach.
They NOT ALLOW to stay in the common places after your check out!!! The mother of the owner told me that if I wanted to stay a moment longer after checking out, I should pay one more night, not recommended for those who are doing the Camino de Santiago or for those who want to work remotely. Is not suggest for who are doing the Camino de Santiago!!!

Walking along the beautiful maritime city’s pathway you can reach the city centre in no more than 15 minutes. lineas 14 y 25. Using public transport, you will find a bus stop just in front of the house, you will be able to travel comfortably and quickly all around the city. Here find the link for bus routes 14 and 25
I had a great experience in this hostel. From the check-in to the check-out. The staff is very attentive and always willing to assist you. The surf lessons are a lot of fun. It does not matter if you have no experience, they give you the best tips! This hotel is also a great experience when you come by yourself as you can meet people from all over the world. It's easy to meet people and they also organize every Friday a international party in where everybody is welcome to come. The location is also great, only 10 minutes walk to the centre and next to the beach. Would definitely come back again!

I was well received with a lovely coffee and the cat who jumped on my lap. Prices are good and the house is amazingly renovated. Lovely furniture and little details make the stay a different experience from the usual pilgrim's albergue.
