Crispy/creamy arancini – fried balls of rice filled with cheese and sauce – are mouthfuls of heaven. The Sicilian sweet tooth has manifested in some of the world’s finest desserts, like icy granita and sinful cannoli. In the ancient Baglio, an old farm house, you will discover the typical sicilian colours, scents and tastes. Agriturismo Vultaggio is located between Erice and Marsala, sorrounded by citrus and olive groves, vineyard; in front of Egadi isles and Mothia. Only 10 minutes far from Marausa Lido beach. Our restaurant, from 2001 on Osterie d'Italia (Slow Food magazine), Foodies (Gambero Rosso magazine), has been focusing on Slow Food philosophy. We use only products from our crops, local products and Sicilian Slow Food (Pistacchio from Bronte, lentils from Ustica, Sicilian black bee honey, seasalt of Trapani, red garlic from Nubia, Vastedda cheese from Valle del Belice, black porc from Nebrodi, etc). You can taste different rustic appetizers (olives, panelle, caponata, cheese, cold cuts and other specialities) our "busiate", fresh typical hand-made pasta of Trapani area; main corses with meat choice; side dishes with vegetables from our crops. New entry in our menu: Pizza! Slow leavening (24h), "Antichi Grani Siciliani" biological flour and others local biological flour (Molini del Ponte from Castelvetrano) for a crisp and tasting pizza of choice.
The location is marvellous for those who appreciate Mother Nature. The view is breathtaking. The food was authentic and delicious and our waiter Andrea was the best ever, attentive friendly competent and sincere. What else do do you need to make a perfect dinner?

The farm holiday Santa Margherita is located in a panoramic position in the province of Messina just a short distance from the sea near Capo Calavo, Gioiosa Marea and the ancient Greek colongy of Tindari facing the Aeolian islands.
What a beautiful, comfortable, charming place! The grounds are accessible and offer a variety of farm animals, groves, unbelievable vistas and fresh water. The rooms are lovely with housekeeping impeccably cleaning every other day. The food is deliciously bountiful, taken from the farm itself. Morning breakfast is filled with beautiful cakes and breads along with meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, eggs, freshly squeezed juice...incredible! Dinner is a four course event every night complete with all the wine you can drink. The staff is fantastic with Claudia as the super hostess. We were in contact from the start of our family journey and Claudia guided us every step of the way. Not to mention, the views are to die for! All in all, my family of sixteen, had the time of our lives and will most definitely be returning. Thank you to all the Santa Margherita staff and owners...you are amazing.

The estate was built between the end of 1400 and the beginning of 1500. It consisted of confortable houses, a chapel, gardens and vineyards, an abundant water supply, two mills as well as a paper factory. In 1740, the architect Venanzio Marvuglia renovated the estate. Today, the conglomerate present architectural features which are the expression of the different changes over time in the arts and crafts. With its sombre but refined architecture where the farming tradition and the bare rock perfectly mingle, the confortable spaces dedicated to our guests open up. The large restaurant hall is the historical "Sala delle Botti" enriched by the ancient trusses and original columns. The Chapel is placed inside the "Baglio", which was once the heart of the social life of the village. The Chapel has recently been scrupulously restored; the work has carefully uncovered the original frescos, tangible signs of the evolution in the figurative arts.Mounted in the Jato Valley, Agriturismo Masseria La Chiusa is a precious historical and architectonic jewel and a comfortable solution for those who wish to combine the discovery of feudal Sicilian traditional and cultural itineraries to their holiday relax.
Superb food, very friendly staff, clean and peaceful hotel. Stayed for 5 days as we had a wedding to attend on the property. It’s very rural and the road to get there is a little daunting. But it’s worth it. Scenery is out of this world. Very nice pool. Plenty of parking. The rooms are clean and spacious. Emanuel the owner is a fantastic host. All food is fresh from their farm. Would highly recommend.

Lovely receptionist, welcoming and helpful Room was apparently one of the better 'cheap' ones but definitely tight on space, though comfortable enough. Did the wine tasting etc which we thought good value though, sorry, the wines they produced are not to our taste! Breakfast was plentiful and excellent, lovely staff The restaurant was long on pretentiousness and short on value. Not memorable at all. Service at the pool area excellent. Would return, probably dining elsewhere.....

Swimming Pool in the green, typical Sicilian food, excursions to Mount Etna, located in the eastern coast of Sicily between Taormina and Catania, Galea farmhouse is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday in a charming building where you can choose B & B or Half Board treatment. Exquisite culinary experience, divine food! We did not taste anything better in any local restaurants like there and had a few exceptional diners with sunset and Etna view. Super nice staff and beautiful surroundings, going to sleep and walking up in the middle of the lemon trees farm was like a dream comed true.

Agriturismo Il Granaio features an outdoor pool, its own restaurant and a quiet location in the countryside just outside of Modica. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are available here. Il Granaio offers air-conditioned rooms decorated in a rustic style. Each one has an en suite bathroom and views of the natural surroundings.
This is such a relaxing place to stay, from the warm welcome to the delicious food made from locally and family produced ingredients . The Di Raimondo family work hard to ensure that their guests have a happy stay. The swimming pool, gym and spa are all immaculate and beautifully presented. The gardens have a wealth of lovely flowers, lemon and walnut trees. Not far from Modica, it’s also easy to get to the coast and to all the stunning Baroque towns in south east Sicily. If you stay there do eat in the restaurant- the food really is excellent and prepared with high quality ingredients. Very fresh and natural . The best food that we ate in Sicily. The homemade pasta was exceptional . The olive oil pressed that day was the best I have ever tasted ( and I have tasted a lot!). Despite the olive harvest being very poor this year we received generous gifts of the oil and some homemade pasta when we left. Would love to return as soon as possible for as long as possible !

Located in the Contrada Leano area of Piazza Armerina, Leano Agriresort is set in its large garden featuring a free swimming pool. Offering free Wi-Fi throughout, it has air-conditioned rooms, a gourmet restaurant, and horse stables. The rooms are elegantly decorated and have wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. This was our first stay at an agriturismo and it was a very positive experience. A restaurant with rooms surrounded by a farm and amazing countryside. We ought to go back in the summer to enjoy the pool! On arrival we were welcomed with a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in and issues (bedding and hot water) were promptly attended to. The rooms were large and opulent furnished. Dinner was amazing and half board superb value. Pea soup followed by different antipasti (baked onions, prosciutto, panelle, fennel, baked cheese, artichoke flan), pasta with creamy pesto, roast pork and beef followed by a ricotta dessert. Eaten in a rustic dining room with open fire. Local red wine was included. Breakfast was served buffet with cakes, various breads and home made jam but eggs etc available if required. We have some olive oil to remind us of our lovely time here. We visited the area because of the jewel that is Villa Romana del Casale and both are worth a return visit.

Stay in a bed and breakfast at a working winery near Alcamo in the hills of Sicily's enchanting wine country. Or just drop by our rustic restaurant for a country lunch to enjoy our wine and organic cuisine. Come be our guest soon.
We were lucky to be introduced to this amazing place on a wine/food weekend of Sicily. We went for lunch and wine tasting. An experience that was above and beyond expectations. A stunning setting and the most incredible food. Filippo the owner was an outstanding host and has some incredible stories. Buy his book - I did and read on the flight back. Absolutely fascinating. I would love to return and stay at the farm and do the cookery class. A truly special place.

This resort is in a physically lovely setting. We arrived after a long day of travel, began to clean up for dinner and our water ran out after I filled the tub one inch - they corrected the problem within two hours but we returned to the room and there was no air conditioning. The room was hot and you could not open windows due to bugs. We asked to be moved but they said there were no available rooms nor other hotels nearby so we were forced to try to sleep there that night. It was difficult to sleep in the heat leaving us exhausted for our next day of vacation. They did move us to a much smaller room for the second night. We requested that they not charge us for the first night. They refused but did give some restaurant credit. We left dissatisfied with that concession and really feel they need training in customer service.

Twenty-five hectares farm in the hills, located in the inland of Agrigento, where extra virgin olive oil, apricots, table grape and pomegranates are produced. Typical Sicilian farmhouse of the late nineteenth century expertly restored respecting the original architectural features, welcomes visitors in a familiar atmosphere. The property has eight double, triple or quadruple rooms, two of which are suitable for disabled guests. All equipped with bathroom and air conditioning, are comfortably furnished and equipped with every comfort, with their own peculiarities and retain the original wooden trusses. The property also has a nice apartment, the Suite, consisting of two independent bedrooms with shared bathroom and a private terrace. The facility is equipped with a large dining room where typical Sicilian dishes are served and prepared with local and seasonal products.
Very lovely and peaceful Agriturismo, located in the countryside, about 20 mins away from the center of Naro. It is well maintained and clean. Rooms were nice and spacious, which included all our basic needs. The staff were also really friendly. Breakfast had a great selection of cakes, artisanal biscuits, homemade jams, fruits, breads… (the cakes were delicious). Of course, the dinner was exceptional too! Would totally recommend this place
