wow-wow-wow!!! The place is so peaceful, surrounded by nature with amazing views!! Plenty of activities-just pick one! We went canoeing in Lake Cedrino on a slightly windy day and it was soooo much fun! Our host Giampiero is a great guy! He recommended a super cool trekking path to reach Gola di Gorropu - tips and hints from such an experienced local are always the best!! The use of the kitchen with fridge was also a big plus! So much adventure and laughters! Thank you - very highly recommended!

The farm is located on a small hill from where you can admire a vast panorama stretching from the mountains the Supramonte to the beaches of Cartoe and Osalla, with around a lot of greenery and trees, surrounded by a ring of hills. Positioned along the road from the village of Dorgali leads to Orosei, is close to the cave of Ispinigoli and the necropolis of Conca and Janas. The dining room is rustic, with wooden furniture, exposed beams and a large stone fireplace 'framed' by a tree trunk worked from nature with great skill. Ideal for banquets and ceremonies where you can taste the specialties of the traditional cuisine of Sardinia. The farm is equipped with camping pitches equipped, space for caravans and camper (columns and service charge and discharge water for campers). It also has rooms (twin, double, triple and quadruple) surrounded by olive trees, surrounded by greenery of the countryside, facing the mountains of Supramonte and the beautiful side of the Gulf of Orosei. They are all on the ground floor, with private bathroom and spacious verandas bloom, covered with exposed beams and rods from which to enjoy the splendor of unspoiled nature and a unique view. In collaboration with cooperatives hiking Dorgali and Cala Gonone, we offer guided tours and excursions to the most beautiful places in the Gulf of Orosei and Gennargentu Park. We also offer the opportunity to go horseback riding, hiking, climbing and participate (by appointment) to business duties (milking, sheep shearing etc.), Petting zoo for children, cooking classes and more. The family operates as a primary activity for generations in the field of livestock breeding (sheep, cattle and pig) and secondary agriculture (vineyards, olive groves and frutteti). The products offered in the restaurant and for sale are genuine: sausages, hams, cheeses, honey, bread, pasta rigorously homemade (Cheese Ravioli, Ricotta, and "Malloreddos", "Macarrones De Rosinitta"), Canonau wine, extra virgin olive oil, digestive (myrtle, grappa, lemon and cream).
We had to cancel our trip to Sardinia because of the pandemic situation. Not allowed by Canadian government. They never agreed to send a confirmation of cancellation in order for the insurance to reimburse us. After several emails and months they offered a credit that we will never be able to use since it is expiring in June 2021 and it is still prohibited for us to cross the border. We only asked for an email of confirmation and they refused.

Great service and great food. For sure one of the best food experiences I had this summer. From the top, you have an amazing view of Posada and its Castle. I kindly recommend you to visit it a few minutes before sunset. The restaurant is perfect for big groups and romantic couples. At Su Vrau you can taste amazing seafood as well as traditional Sardinian food. Nothing bad to say.

Conca and Janas is a farm with farm animal species (sheep, cattle, horses, pigs) and growing vines and olive, entirely organic, processing and administration of typical Sardinian cuisine and dorgalese in particular. Accommodation is provided in comfortable rooms with private bathroom; the administration of food and drink is supplied in a large room, with comfortable verandas particularly pleasing especially in summer for the views appreciable. The property is a few miles from the famous beaches of Cala Luna, Cala Mariolu, Biderosa, Cartoe, Dare, Berchida and caves of Bue Marino, tourist attractions of the Gulf of Orosei.
Some friends told us about this place. Being on holidays in the area, we took the chance to visit this place for dinner. After driving for a while diverting from the main road we got at Conca 'e Janas , I would say in the middle of nowhere, but it was worth while ! Beautiful location surrounded by nature and stillness. We arrived a little bit before the serving time ( 20.30 ) but we were welcomed with a glass of Vermentino and we spent some time looking at the taditional Sardinian objects displayed inside the restaurant. There's no menu to choose from but once the dishes started to come ... the party began ! So particular food representative of the best Sardinian traditional cusine. Everthing extremely tasty and genuine. After three hours we were still eating ... incredible ... from several starters to the terrific dessert : two versions of "seada" ( made of durum wheat semolina, cheese & honey ). House wine Cannonau, coffee and .... finally mirto ( myrtle ) ! A culinary experience you cannot miss !!! Very kind and friendly family staff ... and when we got the bill we could not believe ... simply great ! Well Conca 'e Janas : we'll be back definitey.

The Irghitula farmhouse consists of 10 double bedrooms (with the possibility of adding single beds). Only a Bed and Breakfast service, the rooms are large and comfortable, furnished with care and simplicity, with references to warm colors and the original style rustic of Sardinia. They are equipped with all the necessary services for a comfortable stay: private bathroom, air conditioning, fridge and TV. Outside them, the large porch offers a space reserved for relaxation and breakfast, where you can taste the delicious and genuine flavors typical of our land. In the front garden, the swimming pool offers guests the opportunity to relax, in absolute tranquility, between sun and nature, immersed in the calm and beauty of the landscapes that the Sardinian countryside can offer in all seasons. The warmth of the juniper and the local stone are the setting for a natural environment of great breadth. ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING STATION.
Just come back from a wonderful week at this lovely Agriturismo. Well signposted off the main road, all the way up to the top of the hill, where the Agriturismo is located. Stunning views of the mountain interior and the coast. Lovely, well kept grounds and a gorgeous swimming pool, with bed chairs, chairs and shade. Rooms are lovely and rustic and air con was welcome, despite it being first week of Sept, with temps in high 20s to low/mid 30s. Handy having a fridge too. Drinks and snacks could be bought from the breakfast area; honesty policy to jot down what you had and settle with your bill. Great breakfast choice and we opted for dinner; 3 courses of delicious, ample food. There was a Sardo dinner Weds night where there were apx 30 people al sat side by side; great atmosphere.Iwners very kind and helpful. Cost very reasonable indeed. Would love to return. Obviously the Island is famous for it’s beaches and because we just wanted the most relaxing break possible, we opted for the beach at nearby San Giovanni di Posada, apx 10/15 mins drive There’s a wooded area at the back of the beach and many people sat in the shade there and some on hammocks. Beach itself a mixture of free or pay for beds and umbrella. There is plenty of parking near the Tartaruga di Giovanni Restaurant which was free from Sept 1st (Market in Sunday, where we bought some olives and cheeses etc for snacks). We had early lunch at the restaurant twice (dinner portions at Agriturismo huge). There are 3 bars in the village and one virtually on the beach. Great place for singles, couples and families, young and old. Thank you for having us.

My family and I visited for an evening meal in September. The food was plentiful and delicious. The view from the restaurant very pleasant. The building itself is modest but exceptionally clean and well kept. The owners were gracious, engaging and accommodating; one of my relatives is gluten, wheat and dairy intolerant. Overall, the experience we had was quite lovely.
