Me and my girlfriend visited for the jubilee bank holiday for a night and were so pleasantly surprised by how great this mini break was. The amenities for the location were outstanding & the little shop on site was one of the nicest touches I can remember at somewhere like this for a while. The bed was comfy and the hot tub was so relaxing, and the shower was powerful too which is always something I feel places like this are lacking. Will definitely be sending the link to my friends as I can’t recommend this place enough. Great location as it’s close to Cockermouth Town centre and only about 20/30 minutes from Cats Bells & Keswick town centre too.

A welcoming family run bed & breakfast on a working farm, nestled in the rolling Welsh countryside bordering both Cheshire and Shropshire. 6 uniquely designed en-suite bedrooms, all at ground floor level with a guest lounge to allow for relaxation. Access to kitchen facilities. Excellent value & exceptional quality.
From the moment we arrived to celebrate a friends birthday, Tina couldn’t do enough for us. The property itself is immaculate and stocked with all amenities. She even left us a birthday cake and 2 bottles of fizz to start our celebrations. We had a fabulous few days, and I’m hoping to rebook it’s another group soon.

Bank House Farm is a family run business, we provide B&B, Self Catering accommodation and camping in a small village 6.5 miles outside Penrith, 1.5 miles from the village of Langwathby. We are located directly on the c2c route at the bottom of the Pennines before the big climb's up to Hartside pass. This business is also run alongside our Equestrian Centre.
Had a lovely weekend at Bank House Farm. Lovely little site which was peaceful and relaxed. Booked last minute without much research and exceeded all expectations. Would love to return in the future. Lovely to see the children playing and so nice to meet Teddy the dog. Thank you very much!

Beckside Farm comprises Lowther Barn Cafe with 2 B&B en suite rooms. 10 minutes from the road at Sandwick the cafe is on the popular Glenridding to Howtown walk. Accommodation guests are transported to the barn and cabins in an all terrain vehicle. Below the barn on the lakeshore are the self catering Beckside Cabins, 2 restored farm huts that sleep 4, 1 double, 1 bunk bed room with bathroom.
This wonderful little place was literally a lifesaver after scrambling along the (surprisingly arduous) Glenridding to Howtown Ullswater Way. Clean, very pretty interior and incredible setting. The owners were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. Nice selection of light bites and drinks. They also do ice creams. We wish them every success!

Breakfast with magnificent view over paddock with cattle, sheep, geese and chickens with backdrop of hills. Delicious breakfast from free range chickens. Excellent Gastropub/restaurant (the Fenwick) within 2 minutes walking distance in quiet lane redolent with red campion, Spanish bluebells, speedwell and other delightful wild flowers. Easy travel to lakes. Very good value for money. Room with kettle/coffe/tea/chocolate and fresh milk. Dogs welcome.

We love the Lakes and wanted to try a different part so we opted for this location. It’s perfect as it’s in the middle of no where but five minutes from everything. The accommodation has everything from the amazing views to the hot tub. We had a 4 year old and grand parents with us and the accommodation met everyone’s expectations.
