The House | How it Begun It is from a hundred years old farm house which was rebuilt, in the area of the Gandara (sandy ground and unproductive land in the litoral region) that this history begins – The house of the Lake – Casa da Lagoa – stands right next to the Lake, between lands of cultivation, forests and dunes. Casa da Lagoa, also has a farmhouse where we grow the best that our land provides. Casa da Lagoa has 3 double rooms with private bathrooms and terrace. There is also a Maisonette(4 persons) with living room/kitchenette/Bathroom. In the main house there is a dinning room, living room, a little library, a local shop, patio, garden and a farm with its own conscient production

Mountain weather pleasant with raising sheep and own production of the famous cheese of Serra da Estrela. Properly equipped site with 6 suites , 3 spacious suites for couples and 3 large double suites. We make workshops about cheese.

Our accommodation boasts three different double rooms each one of them with their unique but sober decoration. Two of the rooms have the possibility to add extra bed for the comfort of all the family. All rooms are fully equipped with a private bathroom. There is also the possibility to use a fully equipped kitchen with terrace and view over ours animals.

It's a country house situated 10 minutes car from the city of Castelo Branco , 45 min. Serra da Estrela and a few km from several river beaches . In the property you can walk, refresh in the pool, see the graves and an Apiary medievals and intereact with the farm animals and with life farm. We are situated close to the International Tagus Natural Park and the Historic Villages. The rooms have an exclusive bathroom , toiletries, hairdryer, free WIFI, air conditioning, screen TV, coffe/Tea machine and mini bar . Daily we serve a buffet breakfast with regional products. Free parking.
