I really wish an online review would truly reflect what this place has to offer. Our family of 6 (Kids ages: 13, 10, 8, and 8) had the trip of a lifetime. From the pick up at the airport, excursions, tours, mealtime, and evening fun it was organized but relaxed. We did jungle tour, cloud forest tour, ziplining, Volcano tour, horseback riding, white water rafting, Venando cave tour, hot springs, butterfly garden to name a few. We ate at local restaurants and Henry was always a great guide for education, culture, and language. Michelle, Henry, and Kenia are truly great people and made our family feel like we had new friends in Costa Rica. The accommodations were perfect as my kids could wake up and explore the property looking for animals and insects. My son really looked up to " Mr. Henry" and all the cool things he was able to do. Thank you and till we meet again!!

The grounds are fantastic, full of tropical orchids, plants and birds. They also have trails that rival that of the local parks. I photographed Motmots, hummingbirds, jays and warblers while there. The breakfast is great and well worth the cost. The street hides the beauty of the grounds, so do not be fooled by what it looks like from the street. I wish we had stayed longer.

Four 2 bedroom apartments with an open kitchen and 8 hotel rooms with private bathroom cable tv and AC. Newly built, modern design and friendly atmosphere.
We arrived here after a long journey and we were so happy we booked here. The team were so kind and welcoming. They helped us to order food, made sure we had what we needed and went out of their way to make sure we had the best time. The accommodation was perfect for us. We loved the location next to the beach and the wildlife was incredible. Highly recommend!

Nice and cute little Bungalows in a calm and relaxed neighborhood, right at the Beach Agujlas. Very clean. Pool is great, clean and well maintained. The Landlady is super friendly, helpful and easy going. Absolutely recommended. Parkspace right besides the Bunglow inside the gated place.

The hostel is really nice and cosy. It has good facilities like multiple refrigerators, microwave and kitchen. It is close to the center and the price is really good. The people working there are lovely and yeltsin gave a lot of good tips for things to do in the area !

A complete and utter shock.. a 2 minute walk from the beach, ample parking, with some lovely grounds. But the real shock was the chalet/room. You have a small decking area with a table chairs and hammock. The room has a kitchen/living room area which leads to a bathroom and a bedroom. But this has to be one of the nicest places i've stayed in. the decor was simply lovely, the room was clean and it felt so homely. There are some other bits that added the wow factor for me. But i'll leave that for you to discover. But as you can tell i loved it. all i'd say is and no matter how tempting it is, DON'T FEED THE WILDLIFE. There are some local birds, that obviously don't miss a trick with guests in the morning. But be warned, they expect food and if you're there eating breakfast, they hassle you more and more until they start flying at you. And some of these birds have pretty nasty talons.

The location of this place is excellent, next to the beach and with the trees/garden just outside. It is close to the waterfalls as well. The rooms however were a little worn down and the lightning in the room not so great, quite dark. But considering the price it is still acceptable.

Pretty and cosy hotel ubicated in Monteverde town, Puntarenas, CR. What people like about us is the peace you can enjoy being not to close from town but not that far to make some tours famous in this zone. Our intallations and rooms have everything you need to enjoy your visit, also don't forget the breakfast is included for you to don't worry about it. What about food? If you want to try typical food, here in Monteverde you can find different restaurants in town. what if I don't want to eat typical food? You are able to cook in our shared kitchen, something no other hotel have for you to use. If you want to make some tours in this place, we have you covered. With the different relationships we have with the companies in Monteverde, we are able to book you tours like: canopy, bridges, night tours, 3 in 1 tours (coffee, chocolate and sugar), and more without paying any extra money, paying to the company itself. Definitely, we want you to have the best experience HERE!
My family and I stayed here for three days, and had a wonderful time. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The hotel is small with 7 or 8 rooms, and our room was simple with one double bed and two twin beds. Very clean inside and out. The passageways are tastefully decorated with old tools and wooden artefacts. The hotel is also just a bit out of the town, about a 5 minute US $4-$5 taxi ride to downtown Santa Elena. What absolutely set this place apart for us was the genuine hospitality and service. The family that owns and runs this beautiful little hotel treated us like family, going above and beyond so many times! Gersson at the front desk helped compare costs and scheduled multiple activities at very short notice (all with a genuine smile and willingness to help), arranged taxis and transport and followed up to ensure everything is going well. His sister and mom prepared delicious breakfast every day. And his dad, who I was only able to talk to a couple times during our stay, passionately shared so much information about the hotel he built and the surrounding flaura and fauna. Their hospitality really made the stay a special experience for us.

We had the chance to do a 3 nights stay in Cerro Alto. Even when the weather was rainy and cold (Remember: Is The Cerro de la Muerte !) we were able to do some hiking (Hotel has 3 different trails available) and some bird watching. Cabins are rustic but comfy and you can find a basic kitchen set to cook your meal if needed. Very accommodating crew in a family environment. We plan to come back, but this time with all photo and bird watching gear!
