Booked this accommodation based on reviews on this site and so glad I did! Arrived late (well 7pm) and the train station was deserted. Not a taxi in sight and while the host normally collects he organised a cab (wife had his car). The accommodation was better than expected for a small pensione: comfy bed and pillows, sparkling clean bathroom with great water pressure, tea and kettle, and a bottle of water on arrival. Host provided a map and detailed sites and best walking routes to take (as well as the most important things to see). Will keep your luggage if your using public transport later in the day and drive you back to the train or bus station at the end of your stay (train is some distance from the old town). It’s very close to all the major sites (St Vitus church is visible from the window - see picture) and is on the river so extremely quiet. Easy walking to visit everything or pop back through the day if needs be. Highly recommended.

We came 5 families to stay few days in the hotel. Rooms are very nice and clean. Service is very friendly. Parking is very easy in front of the hotel. Center of the city is about 5-10 minutes walk. 5 minutes walk is a big supermarket. Breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended .

Po dlouhé době jsme zavítali na Habrovickou baštu s přáteli posedět a popovídat. Dali jsme si masovou topinku se strouhaným sýrem. Prostředí je příjemné, obsluha v pořádku. Milé a příjemné setkání, jsme spokojení.

Pension Hannibal is located just a few blocks from the old city center. It's an old pension but in excellent condition. Staff spoke both English and German. Our room was of good size and very clean with a modern bathroom. As we were traveling on motorcycles, staff allowed us to park our bikes in the entryway. Hotel has a charming and cozy feel. Hotel is on a main city street but very little traffic after working hours. Hotel has a small beer garden/restaurant and an indoor restaurant. Breakfast included and was adequate. No lift if that's an issue. Would definitely stay again.

Restaurace se nachazi v krasnem prostredi u lesa a rybnika. Je zde i kryta terasa. Obsluha byla mila a jidlo dobre. Jedine minus jsou pomerne vysoke ceny, ktere bych cekala v Praze v centru, a ne v hajence vedle lesa. If you wanna have a lunch in the middle of the forest, sorrounded by the nature, go there. The staff is nice and food was good, however, cant say if they speak English. The only downside is the restaurant is quite expensive. As you are not in Prague, I would expect the prices to be lower.

Ubytování je standardní a čisté. Společné prostory nejsou udržované, v chodbě se 2 dny válí hromada špinavého prádla. Zaměstnanci jsou neochotní a nepříjemní. Byli jsme svědky situace, kdy číšník odmítl obsloužit hosta. Takoví lidé do restaurace nepatří. Sem se už vracet nebudeme. Accommodation is standard and clean. Communal space is not sufficiently maintained, dirty laundry was left in the hall for two days. Staff is lazy, unpleasant. We witnessed them refusing to serve a guest. These people dont belong in a restaurant. We are certainly not going to come back again.

Úžasné místo..klidná lokalita, přesto kousek od centra Lipna. Pěšky asi půl hodinka procházkou. Autem cca 5 min. Krásný výhled na sjezdovku a stezku v korunách. Pro rodinu s dětmi ideální místo. Hned před chatou je hřiště. K dispozici jsme měli koloběžky, gril i základní vybavení. Chatka byla čistá. Nám se tu moc líbilo a určitě se vrátíme :) Děkujeme :)

First of all, make sure to call the owner before you are ready to check in. This is a self-serve place and you will need them to give you an access to the keys. No worries these people are pros. Second, this place is only a few steps from the “Stezka korunou stromů” and that’s something not to miss. We booked a four-bed apartment with kitchen and had absolutely no regrets paying $47/night. Three beds were in a separate room with fourth in the kitchen/dining area. If your group has a snorer this is perfect accommodation. Remember since this is a cottage experience you should bring your own toiletries. The bathroom has soap and toilet paper but anything beyond that is on you. Bonus is a clothes drying rack. On to the kitchen. As a cooking rather than buying meals person I appreciated all the utensils, pots, and dinnerware. Our first evening we went to a local hotel/restaurant and while the food was just OK even for my “eat anything” family, it was definitely subpar for a typical Czech meal and severely overpriced. We made our own meals from there on. The cottage has grilling pit behind the house as well. We loved that just across the road started hiking trails to Cerna hora and beyond. We’d come back for sure!
