A smorgasbord of flavors come from this lofty land in the hilly southeast of Belgium: game, wild boar, venison, smoked ham, the region's famous paté and world-renowned Trappist beers. Primarily located in Belgium, the Ardennes mountains also nudge into France and Luxembourg. Dense forests flank the steep hillsides, and market towns and villages perch on river banks. Spring and summer show this lush area at its best, but cross country skiing opportunities make a good case for winter visits.

We stayed at Le Relais Charlemagne for one night. The room including bathroom was clean and comfortable. The personnel is very friendly and service-orientated. Breakfast is available, but not included in the price of 65,00 EUR per night. We can highly recommend this accomodation.

I do not normally spend time to write reviews. However, this place deserves a high score for its position and for the friendliness of the owner. The place is nice, cozy and it has a beautiful garden. If you want to visit Durbuy and its surroundings, this is the place to be. It’s also very close to the adventure park.

cottages, apartments and guestrooms in a very typical old farmhouse in a small village called La Gleize, closed to the waterfall of Coo. heated outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, bar, playground, garden. family friendly. outdoor games. gastronomy. local dishes.
We had one night stay at this hotel. Amazing location, very polite service. The room was clean and spacious. Excellent breakfast with all you need. We decided to have dinner at their restaurant and never regretted - perfect. The negative only thing for me was the mattress - too soft. We both woke up with back pain.

Everything was disgustingly filthy in this building. The bedroom, the bed sheets, the bathroom, the kitchen… I’m very sorry to say so but really everything was dirty. So sad … do not stay here it isn’t worth you money.

My family and I stayed a week in this cute little town. The apartment was big, comfy and clean and included everything you need, like a coffee machine etc. The view from the window over Place Albert was marvellous. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Last but not least - the food! Anything I had was more than delicious. I was truly amazed by the good food. I recommend the duck in special! Definitely worth a visit especially for gourmets!

For a lower price this might be an acceptable option, but not 135 euros a night! The soundproofing is minimal - we were kept awake by persistent perambulation in the apartment above us, and occasional noises from elsewhere in the block. The (single) beds are small and uncomfortable, the (synthetic) duvets are like sleeping under a large sandwich and the bedding is cheap and, gasp, full of bobbles. It all feels cheap and, not very, cheerful. We found dirty plates in the drawer hidden under the clean plates. Some of the cutlery similar. There's a long list of 'fines' for transgressions including not taking the rubbish out. On the plus side, there's a car park.

DO NOT GO! Ridiculous way of dealing with people Treated VERY unfriendly! DRAMATIC service, ridiculous dealing with guests. After arrival we found a house, which was not so booked. After asking the staff about this, I got a very annoyed owner in front of me. Nothing was possible, I didn't have to whine, I was shouted at and I was threatened by the owner. I recommend everyone AF to book here. Terrible the way people are treated here.

Smartflats Saint-Gangulphe is located in the center of Liège, in a street joining two beautiful squares. The area is full of shops and gives easy access to the famous Carré of Liège. Smartflats Saint-Gangulphe offers 3 1-bedroom apartments, stylishly decorated and fully equipped. These flats will provide you with everything you need for a short or longer stay.
This is a nicely appointed apt, freshly done with modern furnishings & decor. It's in the heart of Liege with shopping and restaurants all around. If you arrive on foot with just a backpack, this is the place for you! The flat is spacious, and has new kitchen and bath. The radiators in each room are also modern with a real thermostat to set the temperature. The wall of windows in the kitchen provides lots of light (and a view of the grimy building next door). There is a tiny terrace off the bedroom (visible from the living room) but only big enough for a kitchen chair. The trouble is getting here and getting inside. The St Denis car park is nearby and rents for €14/day. No directions or photos are given showing the outside of this flat. (I've posted some) so I walked around the cobblestone block twice looking for it. It is a nearly invisible door between two shops on a side street off the plaza. Once you find it and enter the first code, the door opens onto a steep staircase. No atrium or place to bring in your luggage, just slither past that heavy door right onto the first narrow step. Hauling 6-weeks worth of luggage and business equipment up these steps was challenging (to say the least). Panting at the top of the stairs, confronted with another heavy door with no code box is the next challenge. Finally figured out the code is entered on very tiny buttons on the door handle. The management is very hands off. Texted me the codes the day before my visit (thank you) but doesn't respond to any questions texted back. This is a great place for someone who craves urban living, travels light and loves stairs. It is not for your business traveler who must use a car, has tons of stuff to haul around, and likes the concierge service at a hotel.
