The largest city on the Adriatic Coast, seaside delight Split has been under Roman, Venetian, Austrian, French, Italian and Yugoslav control. There is an abundance of restaurants and wine cellars. Sites such as Diocletian's Palace and Mausoleum, the Grgur Ninski Statue and the Cathedral and Bell Tower of St. Domnius justify its position as a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site. The city's coves offer several lovely beaches, including central Bacvice. Ferries link Split to Dalmatian summer resorts.

Having read the reviews I couldn’t agree more with others in the exemplary customer service we received on our stay at Villa Toni. My family of 2 adults and 2 boys visited for 5 nights in June. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how helpful the staff were. We were given the rundown on the local sites and places to visit with help with all bookings where required, even given breakfast to go on the early morning starts. I would definitely recommend both Split as a town and villa Toni for somewhere to stay.

Well done cozy apartment/rooms with excellent light close to the harbor. Priced well ( 50 Euros ) for a full bed, nice water pressure & plenty of hot water. Close to everything you'd want, around the corner from shopping, & an excellent hamburger joint. Not a far walk to a great beach with cheap beer & also the bus/train station to the airport. Refrigerator & kitchenette too. The attached restaurant seemed nice but a bit overpriced & would not allow me to have a drink at the bar unless I was eating?? Why have a bar then , eh? Otherwise a great place , in a great town. Much cheaper than Dubrovnik, but just as cool

Malena Palace rooms are located in the historic centre of Split, within the old city walls of Diocletian’s Palace, and just a few minutes gentle stroll away from the famous Split promenade, the RIVA. The rooms located in Adamova Street share a common balcony on the fourth floor which has a stunning view across the old roof tops of Diocletians Palace and Jupiter's Temple to the bell tower of Sve Duje Cathedral. There are many good cafes and restaurants in close proximity to our rooms where breakfast can be enjoyed. Each room has its own refrigerator as well as private bathroom, air conditioning, and free wi-fi. For those arriving by car, public parking is located within walking distance of the palace which is itself a pedestrian zone. Public transport including buses, trains, ferries and taxis are all a 5-minute walk away.

She reccomend good restaurants and sightseeng. I really have a good time there ! Handcaped is allowed because it's on the thrid floor only stairs

Recently remodeled, it’s the ideal retreat for an exquisite & comfortable stay, located close to Split’s center. Enjoy some spectacular Mediterranean views. Get ready to get inspired! Very close to some fabulous sites. All in all, guaranteed enjoyment and relaxation. All day long. I guarantee an absolutely private stay. No sharing, no disturbances. Upon your arrival, I will stock up the fridge with fresh milk, yoghurts, cereals, drinks and some other healthy and extremely tasteful essentials. To make sure you have the basics without having to leave the room to get them. Enjoy a small complimentary bottle of local wine! Or if you prefer, you can enjoy a refreshing shower, we have stocked the bathrooms with gentle organic toiletries.
Its one of the best place I have ever stayed. Amazing view, close to the beach. Very nice and clean apartaments. Amazing family. Supermarkets and restaurants 10 by walk. very good pizzeria next to. You can forget about everything and just chill. If you want to get to the city Split and you dont have a car you can take Bolt or go there by bus. Cant be better. Thanks for amazing time :)

My daughter and I stayed at this place for a week and I turned out to be perfect for us. The location was great! Walking distance to everything we needed. Our host, Mate was wonderful. Met us at the taxi and carried our bags up the stairs for us. He gave us recommendations on restaurants and activities. I do have to add, depending on which apartment you get, there are quite a bit of narrow stairs going up to the apartment. It was perfect for us and helped us work off all the bread and pasta we ate. ? Thanks for letting us stay. I would totally stay here again if I ever come back to Split.

Good points: / Large clean apartment with plenty of space / Comfortable bed / powerful air conditioning / handy washing machine / fully equipped kitchen / Owner let us check in very early which was appreciated / friendly family members / Owner took my husband to port Split to retrieve something important he left on a ferry / location pretty good as 20 min walk to old town and 5 mins to multiple supermarkets Bad points: / Swimming pool area is not like the photos, the area is full of junk which is not nice and pool requires a clean as it looks discoloured. We love pools and selected this apartment because of that however the pool area was really not appealing- why not get rid of the piles of junk? / our balcony was large but the air conditioning unit dripped into a plastic container which kept overflowing onto the balcony and flooding it. I had to keep emptying it which is not the guest’s job -why not install the air conditioning unit properly? / the block is a little noisy, there were young guests partying which we could hear clearly so had to wear earplugs / our shower mount was broken meaning you can’t shower properly. Plus the shower head was disgusting. My husband pointed this out to the owner who said ‘I know’ which is annoying as he could have fixed the shower in 10 minutes easily in advance of our arrival / The owner only accepts cash payment. This is ridiculous in 2021 as there are fees for using ATMs. He could allow booking.com etc to transfer him the money like every other European accommodation. Overall simply not worth €100 per night. Owner happy to take our money offering no discount. Would not stay here again

We stayed here for four nights in a one bed apartment and loved it. It is immaculate, modern and has all the amenities you would need - fridge, cooker, hob, kettle, tea & coffee, kitchen utensils, towels, glasses, cups, bowls etc, hairdryer, tv, shampoo, dental kit etc. Basically, everything you need for a stay is here! Location is brilliant. In the centre of everything. A couple of minutes walk from the Riva. Supermarkets/bakeries/bars and restaurants are just down the stairs. The balcony is a great addition to the apartment and is lovely to relax in in the morning or evening time above the hustle and bustle of the streets below. Do note that the apartment is up a lot of steps and if you are any way immobile it might be an issue for you. However, this was not an issue for us. In the apartment, there are two sofas, dining table and kitchen area, bathroom and bedroom. The host, Tanja, was a wealth of information and was really a pleasure to meet on our trip to Croatia. She gave us useful information on where to eat, shop, visit and information on tours. She was on hand, if needed, so we really felt well looked after during our stay. Would highly recommend and if travelling back to Split would 100% return to Apartments Tin.

We enjoyed our stay. Great communication from host prior to check in and during stay. Good equipment in the kitchen and towels for both the shower and pool. Really close to the only town and port so getting around was easy. The room was clean however there were so grotty cobwebs high up that did need clearing.

Just had our first half of our Croatian holiday in these fabulous apartments. Every thing looked brand new and fitted to a very high quality. The owner Matco is a very friendly guy and speaks very good English. Without a doubt we will come here again. 10 out of 10.

Would highly recommend this apartment in Split. Ideal location for everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful and even stayed up very late to accommodate our late check-in time. Ive (owner) spent time to go through Split’s tourist attractions and best places to go and eat in Split. The apartment was perfect for our needs and we had no complaints. 10/10 would reccomend.
