Staff very courteous and helpful. Management - Zania and Abby were amazing to deal with. Resort is quiet which I needed to work one of my weeks and allowed me to do this even by the beach with wifi. The condos are very spacious so you don't feel claustrophobic like in a hotel room. You feel very safe. On the whole Huatulco feels safe. I would most definitely stay here again!

Villas Luz de Luna es un desarrollo turístico construido en lo alto de un escarpado acantilado y además de tener las mejores vistas al océano pacifico también cuenta con todos los servicios esenciales para poder disfrutar tus vacaciones
We had four beautiful days at Villas Luz de Luna after fleeing from the nice but noisy town of La Crucecita. Our apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable with a fully functional kitchen. The walking proximity to beautiful, snorkel and swimable PIaya Arrocito and the ocean views from the wonderful infinity pool are great. The Villas Luz de Luna has kitchens but no restaurant but Playa Arrocito has a shady place to eat, and there's a little hamburger joint near the convenient taxi station. When you go to the local beach, be sure to try the Camarones al Ajo at the little beachfront restaurant. Keep in mind that once you sit down in a shady spot and buy something, you can stay for the day so enjoy yourself! If you are there for a few days, talk to the front office about arranging a bay tour by boat. They can arrange a wonderful excursion that includes snorkeling and transport to and from the marina. We were lucky up to see humpback whales on our trip.

This hotel first opened in January 2011, has 20 double-bed rooms and 20 furnished condominiums, equipped with air conditioning, living room, dining room and kitchen. It is located in the heart of the beautiful Huatulco Bays, 300 meters from Chahue Bay, the first certified beach in the country and at 5 minutes distance from downtown La Crucesita. The hotel offers free private parking, safe-deposit box at front desk and outdoor swimming pool with a palapa to relax and enjoy.
The location is a 10 minute walk to a beach and 10 minute walk to the centre of town. It is behind the big grocery store. Our condo had two air conditioned bedrooms, full kitchen,, large living room. On the weekend it got a little noisy around the pool at night, but went quiet after ten. We would stay here again!

Me and my buddy rented two of the suites here over New Year’s Eve. They were well located and very comfortable and clean. Jesus was helpful in ironing out all the details and making sure a few initial hiccups were immediately taken care of. I would certainly recommend it for those visiting but not wanting to pay $500 a night in a local hotel.

Kukurutz invites you to rent 8 charming apartments in the historical town center of San Cristobal de las Casas in Chiapas, Mexico. You are a few steps away from Santo Domingo church and the main pedestrian street. You have the chance to enjoy a quiet and nice place without being far from the main commodities and activities of San Cristobal. You will appreciate its fascinating and relaxing atmosphere. If you like staying outside you may enjoy the large garden or some shade on the terrace. Our sunny apartments gives you the chance to enjoy direct sunlight which is rare to find here in San Cristobal.
Having traveled a lot in Latin America, we expect to pay a lot for an excellent place to stay and even then can find the lodging lacking in something. Kukurutz is affordable, beautiful, clean, creatively decorated and absolutely charming. The staff are warm, attentive and fun to interact with. People keep coming back here as we have learned speaking with other guests. It is understandable. The garden is lovely. There is art everywhere. The location is great, near the big city market. The grounds are safe and insulated from the street. A few rooms have beautiful views of the mountains. The owners feed street dogs during the day because they have such big hearts. They also participate in neutering them.

My husband and I booked one of the units in this attractive complex for the month of April and found both our apartment and the location ideal. The neighborhood, Barrio de los Mexicanos, adjoins the city's historic heart but is mostly residential and thus quieter -- except for a rooster that crows enthusiastically, beginning with the merest glimmer of dawn. The Iglesia de Santo Domigo, with its breathtakingly embellished facade, is only a kilometer away. We found the craft market a its feet superior in quality and prices to the main Mercado de las Artesenias y Dulces. A huge fresh market, including meat, seafood and a bewildering array of dried beans, is a 15-minute walk away, as are the gathering points for the collective vans to the culturally fascinating mountains of San Juan de Chamula and Zinacantan. The city is well-served by such combis, as the locals call them, including a route that runs from Barrio de los Mexicanos to Chedraui, a huge modern supermarket on the edge of town. For the most part, small grocery stores within a block or two of our apartment stocked everything we needed. In this part of San Critóbal, as in many old cities in Mexico, outer walls sit directly on the street, in the case of J&K Suites with a locked door leading to a combination garden courtyard and parking area. The evening we arrived, José led us to our unit, a handsome two-story open-concept apartment. Starting out in English but clearly relieved when we invited him to speak Spanish, he showed us how to use the appliances and otherwise oriented us before leaving us to settle in. José had replaced the bar-sized refrigerator shown on the J&K website with a full apartment-sized fridge. The kitchen also boasted a full stove, complete with oven and grill, and an array of small appliances, including a microwave, blender and coffeemaker with filters and a welcoming bag of ground Chiapan coffee. When we asked for a toaster, he brought us one. In addition to the kitchen, the downstairs encompassed a dining table seating four and a day bed that could serve as a couch, though not too comfortably. We used it to unpack, so that we didn’t need to heft our suitcases up the winding staircase to the second floor, which was devoted to a bathroom and a large open bedroom with two double beds. Also equipped with a computer table plus a vanity and a wide-screen TV, this room served for work and entertainment, as well as sleeping. Glass bricks set into the ceiling provided plenty of natural light during the day. The wifi occasionally flickered but generally worked well. Recessed lights and abundant electrical outlets added to our comfort and convenience. Although the apartment had neither heat nor air conditioning and nighttime temperatures dropped into the low 50°s, a duvet kept the bed warm, and the slippers we brought along protected our feet from the chilliness of the tile floors. Daytime highs bumped around the 70°s, so simply opening a window maintained a comfortable temperature even in md afternoon. A maid cleaned our unit once a week. José and Karina (the J and K of J&K Suites) lived in the complex and were cordial sources of advice and practical help. Although the stairs presented an initial challenge, thanks to railings we adjusted to them quickly. We highly recommend J&K Suite.

Mansiones Cruz del Mar is a real estate development that offers comfortable Condos fully equipped to enjoy a pleasant stay whether for holiday accommodation or sale. It is characterized by its wide green areas, its panoramic views of the city and the mountains and especially its access roads for the elderly and disabled.
If you are looking for a great place to rent a condo or better yet purchase a condo, Mansiones is the perfect choice. The location is ideal up on top of the hill with wonderful views and a nice breeze. The staff is supurb and always very helpful. They make you feel like part of the Mansiones family. The junior olympic size swimming pool is very well kept and the grounds are beautiful. It is a short walk down the hill to get to the grocery store or bank. Just a 15 minute walk into Santa Cruz for the beach, shopping and restaurants. Give them a call...you won't be disappointed! Karen from USA

Discourteous, rude, disorganized and uninformed front desk staff. The main front desk clerk tried hard to charge me twice for a room, saying I had checked in the day before I actually had. When everything I tried to disabuse her of this misinformation, I requested my money I had paid in advance and cancel my room, she said "No" When I demanded to speak to her boss, she said he wasn't in. When I asked for the name of her boss, she said she didn't know. When I threatened to call the police, she relented, agreed to honor the reservation contract, but then told the maid service staff not to "bother me" and leave off cleaning my room for the three days. In general, the hotel is in an uber part of town called Las Canadas. It about half the price of the other hotels on the same street, but the more than poor service, and poor maintenance (do not stay here if you have mobility problems as the walkways are cracked, uneven, and have heaved up about 2 inches in some places), and general disrepair of bathrooms, dirt under the beds, low quality linens and ill-fitting drapes, it is worth paying the extra money charged by the other hotels. And don't forget their rat problems: when I arrived a guy was spraying rat poison all around the edges of the exterior of hotel, including around the hotel rooms.
