While only 60 years ago South Korea was considered a developing country, it’s now one of Asia’s economic and cultural leaders. Super-chic Seoul combines modernism with ancient history; coastal Busan serves up rugged beach spots; and Jeju Island wows with volcanic landscapes and towering mountains.

Vistacay Hotel Worldcup is located in Seogwipo and offers a rooftop terrace and free Wi-Fi. It also provides an outdoor pool, a 24-hour reception and luggage storage. There are a range of facilities on offer to guests of the hotel, including a designated smoking area, a roof garden and a wake-up service. Guests can also enjoy free private parking on site. The rooms are air conditioned and include a refrigerator, slippers and underfloor heating. They all have a flat-screen TV, bottled water and a walk-in closet. On-site dining options include a restaurant, which is an ideal spot to enjoy a meal. Vistacay Hotel Worldcup is within a 10-minute walk of Jeju World Cup Stadium. Jeongbang Waterfall and Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls are within an easy car ride from the hotel. *We are ready for open 'Rooftop POOL' , late May, 2019.
We booked a night at Vistacay Hotel World Cup as it was one of the cheaper hotels in Jeju that had a pool and didn’t charge extra for using it. With their cheap rate and scores of negative reviews we were expecting the worst. But the room was spotlessly clean and a lot cleaner than most places that are more expensive. It is apparent by looking at the hallways with peeling paint that the property could be better maintained. The views on the lower floors are horrendous looking out to the AC units of the other rooms. The building has been remodeled recently but is old so the boiler has to be manually turned on. However, considering the price and cleanliness, it’s not a bad place to stay for budget travelers. The pool is great for little kids as the depth is only about a half meter and it is heated. However, the hotel needs to control the number of guests using the small pool as it can realistically handle only about 20 persons tops.

I stayed at this hotel after reading reviews on another site which stated that the staff was helpful and welcoming. Not only were they correct, they undersold how incredibly wonderful the staff is. I was on a solo trip and the front desk clerk took so much time to explain how to navigate the island. She offered to help in any way, including driving me to rent a bicycle! I have traveled to many countries, but never have I met such a customer oriented and helpful staff. The kindness and help was genuine as they make you feel like family. I would highly recommend staying here as it’s a great value for your money and the balconies offer beautiful views.

We arrived at 21:00 and was hoping to have something to eat but the restaurant closed as well as the convenience shop inside the hotel. The beds were hard but we were upgraded to a room with 2 double beds, so for 2 of us it was alright. Staff were not the best as they went through absolutely everything at check in so it took us about 15-20mins, and they called our room at 12:30am asking for us to move our car! Apart from that the staff were kind and welcoming. All in all it was an ok hotel and would probably consider staying somewhere else next time.

A great 4 star hotel & accommodation located at Gangseo area of Seoul, South Korea. Reasonable price. It is more like a service residence with a lot of necessities & amenities. They even have a washing machine, stove & microwave oven. Breakfast was always simple but it doesn't matter. A very comfortable place to stay with the great and friendly service from the staffs. Super helpful & friendly. Highly recommended hotel.

19-23.10 Nice location, friendly staff. They sent me all useful information about restaurants, shops, money exchange nearby and even a weather forecast every morning to my phone. Big and clean room, all toiletries, 2 free bottles of water in the fridge, fast Wi-Fi. The bed is comfortable. Korean breakfast. Overall, its a great value.

Short walk from Suwon station, near restaurants, shops and convenience stores. Comfortable bed, sufficiently large room. Has blackout curtains too. The staff speak basic English, enough for most needs. Overall, good value for money. My only problem was the soundproofing (new wing). If your neighbors aren't considerate, you can hear them shouting or slamming their doors. This is one of the few affordable hotels that aren't love hotels in the area though, so I'd definitely stay here if I find myself in Suwon again.

여행지를 선택하는 새로운 기준 여수 라테라스 입니다.
We were so excited to visit La Terrace, but were quickly disappointed. The main problem is that nothing is included in your stay. The pools are nice, but not nice enough to pay 30,000 won ($30) per person daily. Once you pay to use the pools, you also have to pay to use pool chairs or cabanas. The pool chairs were $30 for 2, but they are only available near the kid and family pools. If you want to enjoy the peaceful no kids pool, you have to pay $100 for a cabana. If your goal is to lay in the sun, it’s not really possible because the cabanas are pretty shady. The resort also has a barbecue area, but you have to pay 50,000 won ($50) to use the grill. The other option is to pay 100,000 won ($100) for grill use and food provided which seemed like the better choice. The room was not nice enough to justify the daily rate for this resort. It was relatively small and not well kept. There were stains on the curtains and rust in the bathroom, and it generally did not have a clean feeling to it. Additionally, our room was located near a kids pool and loud music started at 8am which made it hard to sleep in. The best part of the resort was the view, especially during sunset. If you’re considering staying here, reconsider and keep looking. There’s far better out there.

Had the opportunity to be hosted to golf at Oak Valley CC. It's a fabulously challenging course with well manicured fairways and well maintained bent grass green. I believe there are several courses being offered at this membership resort. Highly recommended, if you have the opportunity!
