Window on the world, as we call our hostel, was build in 2016 in the spirit of knowledge and education. The deluxe student house is designed into modern and comfortable hostel with different possible accommodatinos. Villa Domus offers 4–beds studio as dormitory, 3–beds studios and 2–beds studios. Each studio appartment has it's own bathroom and handy kitchen, even the dormitory. There is as well choice for our most demanding guest, the 3+1 bed suite at the top of Villa Domus with its personal balcony, from where you can enjoy beautiful view on Koper. The suite is thoughtfully designed with panoramic windows that give us impression of floating over the city. Each studio is appointed with air conditioner and great wifi signal. Virtues of Villa Domus are comfortableness, spaciousnes, light and user-friendly studios that will take assure you completeness of your holidays on Slovenia's coast. There is also vicinity of sea and city centre and other attractions. We will be glad to help you with any needed informations and questions during your stay.

Reviewed By 831matejpOne of the great experience I had with the dog allowed Everything was just great. I even couldn’t find something to make it negative. Location is awesome. Everything close. From Beach, Food, Drinks, Store, Parks, ... Also you have a possibility to eat in their restaurant. Staff is fun and friendly. I Recommend it. Rooms are clean and lovely. If you go. I recommend the panoramic room. It is just awesome view.

Reviewed By LPChesterFinding a place to stay in Piran is not easy: in all cases you need to make some compromises. We stayed here for 2 nights and the residence has both good and bad points. First of all the pool & bar is really nice and a nice place to relax. The setup of the building however is rather weird: you have 2 apartments on the ground floor that have a private patio before the pool, but most of the chairs at the pool are just in front of that, so when people are sitting there they are basically looking at your back. If you look at our room (we had one of the rooms without seaside) it is basic with limited space to put you luggage or to move around. We always went out for dinner, but I could not see how to prepare a meal in this apartment in a good way. The room had a good air conditioning however and also the bed was of decent quality. Biggest issue for us though was that the room was not really clean. The fridge for example was not cleaned properly and was dirty. The wifi in the room was almost non - existing (very bad connection) and also at the pool it was limited. In regards to location: it is a 15' walk to the center of Piran. Keep in mind that when coming back, it is rather steep and not an easy walk. For us this was not an issue, but something to keep in mind when booking. Free parking is available at the accommodation, which is rare in Piran. In the end it is up to you if you can live with the topics mentioned above. If you decide to book here, I would go for one of the apartments not on the ground level though

Reviewed By essekissgood choice at a price not cheap, also given the position near the port. clean and modern hotel with very nice staff. good breakfast, not so various but bread excellent. design furnitures but not comfortable, like the rainshower not working and the low sink that can’t collect all the water.

The owner is very kind, and tried to assist us, although he didn't speak English and we did not speak Slovenian nor Italian. Do not miss the dinner!! owner prepares it from local ingredients. the dishes are simple but VERY tasty, especially the meat from the furnace.

Where's the breakfast?
Reviewed By roadieplannerThere was NO breakfast. Generally this is part of staying at a B&B. We were directed to a cafe around the corner where we could buy our breakfast. The additional cons: the mattress features a memory foam which has lost its memory. Large depressions in the mattress. The rooms are small. There is no smoke alarm and we are over a restaurant. I'm also concerned about CO2. Finally they took pictures of our passports on arrival. When we went to pay for an additional night we had to produce our passports again. Not sure why. The Pros: Rooms are clean. AC works. The lady who cleans is very nice and helpful. Location is good. Summary. Not good value for the money

Reviewed By Cristina POttima posizione ad un passo da Koper, Portoroz, Pirano, Izola - proprietario gentile, ma l'appartamento non era pulito. Ragnatele in cucina e alle finestre della camera. Non c'é nulla per pulire la cucina, ne detersivo ne canovaccio. Infine le formiche nel bagno.
