Pensíon in Arzúa that is relatively new. We have stayed here twice. It is pretty modern with smaller but adequate sized rooms. No bar or cafe attached. Check in isn’t available until 1:00. This pensíon is about two blocks from the city center. Many eating establishments near by. It is also very close to the church.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in May pre (1 night) and post (4 nights) walking the Camino (O’Cebrerio to Santiago). Communication with Ines leading up to our stay was excellent. She answered all our questions and was very helpful. The hotel is situated in an excellent position, close to the Cathedral and central to everything. You can walk everywhere. Our first stay, we arrived at the hotel and collected our keys from a neighbouring hotel, which was pre arranged. Our apartment was situated up on the third level, and unfortunately there is no lift, so we had to carry our luggage up. The apartment was spacious, clean and consisted of a bedroom, bathroom, lounge room and kitchen. The views over the adjoining square and the roof of the cathedral were stunning. And with all the windows double glazed, external noise was not a problem and all the windows could be opened to allow fresh air and noises of the area (church bells, buskers, locals) in. Our second stay was post walking the Camino and staying at this apartment for a few days was just what we needed. Making use of the washing machine in the apartment was a saving grace!!!! Wifi was strong, quick and reliable. Our only negative was the noise from the air conditioning units from the other two apartments was quite loud in our apartment. Thanks Ines and Dana for two great stays. I would highly recommend staying here.

These apartments are close to the main square. They are just one room with a kitchen and then a separate bathroom. (There is not a separate bedroom.) They are nicely decorated and the building is well looked after. Washing machine and dishwasher in the kitchen. Also a nice little garden for guests.

O Plantio is located in a very small valley surrounded by orchards and woodland and is a truly relaxing spot. We arrived by bus and walked along the road and up the lane through the woods to O Plantio but later learnt that the delightful owner/manager would have given a list had we rung her so don't hesitate to call. She later offered to take us down to the village if it rained (in the event we had a lovely half-hour walk down to the most stunning beaches backed by mountains). When we left she was very happy to give us a lift to the FEVE station. The house we stayed in was perfect for two people and part of a block of converted farm workers' homes. There is a very useful shop in the village for food and so self-catering is no problem. All in all a beautiful spot, friendly welcome and cozy accommodation.

We had a very nice apartment on the third floor with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. From the living room and one bedroom you could see the skyline of Santiago, including the cathedral. It was about a 10-minute walk to get to the cathedral and center of old town, so we were out of the hustle and bustle of the city. It was very quiet at night. The kitchen was well equipped and included a washer. There was an elevator, which was great when we moved in with our luggage. We were given the room combination before we checked in, so it was contactless. All in all, a great place to stay if you want a little more room than a hotel room.

Found this little apartment close to the cathedral but not on a major traffic thoroughfare. The staff at the shop with the keys were incredibly helpful. The apartment was clean and the only complaint is the wifi was lousy. The best part was that it was quiet at night. Many of the old laneways in Santiago are noisy until dawn as revellers make their way home yahooing in the streets. The laneway at this apartments isn't one of those thoroughfares. Would definitely use again.
