The bubbling, turquoise crystalline pools of Plitvice Lakes National Park comprise one of Croatia's most popular tourist destinations. Just a two-hour drive from Zagreb, the national park offers 50 acres of forest and lake. In winter, it's a wonderland of frozen waterfalls. In summer, the park is lush with greenery. Wooden walkways and hiking trails traverse the porous karst limestone. This World Heritage Site is a veritable wildlife haven, home to everything from birds to boars and even bears.

The location is excellent (10-minute walk to Entrance 3) and the staff were very accommodating. But the room was very small; and the AC didn't work (and there was no effort to fix it). However the breakfast buffet was 5-star: everything you could imagine, and more. Truly outstanding. If you eat dinner here, order the Peka dinner by 4:00. It's the best thing we had.

We were looking for a place to stop after visit to the Lakes and have some Brest before next day trip. The apartment was exactly what we were looking for. Clean and tidy, two bedroom apartment with a bathroom, tv, fridge, coffee set and good wifi. Additionally small parking lot, lovely bmini soccer and badminton pitch. Close location to small roliver, 6 minutes drive to supermarkets and restaurants, 9 minutes to National Park parking. Easy to find if you follow the map ( just 20-30 meter further than map locks position). Easy check-in with a host representative presenting a very good command of English. I can imagine us staying for longer than just for a pit stop to fully chill out.

Very nice and clean appartement. The owner was very friendly and helpful owner. I would come back if I want to stay in the neighbourhood again. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 children. We arrived without reservation, but this was not a problem.

We are located near the lake in the center of the National Park. Totally new accommodation, luxurious 4 * rooms decorated with modern details and natural wood furniture. Own restaurant with homemade delicacies.
Beautiful place in the middle of Plitvice lakes, close to entrance to the park. Room looks even more beautiful in person! Food here is something you need to try. Homemade, local, fresh and deliciois. This place has good vibe, you feel welcome and like home. Great menu, great selection od local wine and liquers. Loved it

Just stayed here for a night whilst travelling from Ljubljana to Senj. We booked an apartment in the main house but as they were quiet were given one of the two bedroom log cabins. Really cute, all the furniture matched and a great veranda to sit out on. As it was nearing the end of season the restaurant was closed so we got some food from a local supermarket and ate in but there are restaurants within 2-3 miles.

The apartment was not the one we booked, we were given a downgraded version; smaller and much older furniture. The apartment itself wasn't cleaned, and with COVID at the moment, we refused to stay. Bins hadn't been emptied, old towels still in the bathroom, the bed hadn't been made, smelt of smoke and the kitchen was dirty. The lady running the property didn't speak much English, leaving us with a poorly worded conversation. We found a place a mile down the road, much better! I would recommend searching around, as there are more than expected. The location is good, however, if you get to the lakes early in the morning, parking wasn't bad.

We stayed at House Mirjana two weeks ago, when we travelled to Plitviche to experience the beautiful waterfall-naturepark. House Mijana was such a cosy and pleasent house to stay in. It was clean, there was a new pool, the host's was so so nice and helpfull... you really get value for money here. The interior is basic, but clean and lovely. A very family-orientated stay. Highlights at Mirjana House: -Little beautiful river only 800 meters from the house, crystal clear blue/green water with small waterfalls - paradise! A true dreamy gem. -Exquisite local restaurant nearby, with gluten-free meals (we needed that for our child). - We booked via AirB&B. This is much better than the pictures, the place is simply unexposed. Compared to the pics at AirB&B, we got very surpriced of the qulity and the offering this place got. A rare and surpricingly positive stay.

Stayed 3 nights at Apartments Matijevic. Studio was spacious, clean, comfortable and very quiet, with all necessities we needed. Difficult to get parking place at or near Plitvice Lake National Park during peak season but only took about 20 minutes by bus to the Park. Hostess spoke limited and simple English. But it was not a problem. We communicated by body language and google translate. Hostess was very nice who welcomed us with hot drinks and cookies. Also, she was sensitive to our needs who prepared good breakfast according to our favor and was flexible to our check-out time.
