The 1000-year-old Norwegian capital sits at the head of Oslo Fjord. This stunning setting gives hints of the wild wonders that lie just beyond the city. From taking in visual delights at Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum, the Munch Museum and Holmenkollen, to the challenging content within the new Nobel Peace Centre and the Holocaust Center, Oslo offers plenty of food for thought. The Oslo Pass allows free travel on public transport, free parking and many museum and sight admissions.

A very beautiful building in pleasant area, close to the tram, shops and restaurants. Easy walking distance to city centre and Vigeland Park. But they must improve the service. We had booked a superior studio with balcony, but we got a room in the bassement below street level. When we complained we got a nice room with two balconies. This room met our expectations, but this was only after complaining. Also breakfast is very poor. A plastic box with a miniature yoghurt and some ham and cheese. Bread is delivered to the door in the morning. I had ordered gluten free bread in advance, and got it the first morning. But the second morning this was completely forgotten. So I hope this beautiful hotel with nice rooms will be better run in the future. And avoid the basement.

This is not a star hotel. However it was worth for money. We had booked two rooms with small kitchen which was excellent. Don’t expect star hotel services here as there is only limited service. When we checked in we got fresh bed cover and towels in the room we have to lay them on bed ourselves. It was clean and good walk to the city Center attractions. Highly recommend for family with budget travellers.

The studio apartments have a mini kitchen with microwave, 2 hot plates, and a small fridge. There are a combined seating area and dining table, cable TV, Wi-Fi and a bathroom with shower. The 2 and 3 bedroom attic apartments have separate bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, some with a roof terrace. The apartments are well suited for short term rentals. Here you live in a venerable urban estate from 1912. The location is the heart of Frogner, in the middle of beautiful Bygdøy avenue. Close to bus and tram, 20 minutes walking distance to Skøyen. Central location and short distance to downtown. A good starting point for meetings and pleasures in the capital. Access to washer and dryer on each floor. Check-in machine on point. RESTAURANT BØLGEN & MOI GIMLE On the ground floor, you will find the energetic restaurant Bølgen & Moi Gimle with which we share the entrance. They are known for delicious food and great atmosphere, vibrant champagne brunches on Saturdays and family-oriented Sunday brunches with local food and a “eat as much as you want” buffet. The restaurant also serves breakfast from 7:00 am to 11:00 am Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 am on Saturdays. The restaurant is not part of Frogner House but we hope you visit them during your stay.
This weekend we were housed in the most stylish suite in this building. It was 3 nights that I could use my imagination with this incredible scenario. Too bad I could not stay longer in Oslo and finally visit the Frogner church located 25 meters from the apartment in where, by my window, I could imagine Frogner residents from differents eras meeting each other in that church, as well as I imagine how the bars downstairs were the same meeting point in the previous years and for some reason doesn't happen quite like it. Everything comes to an end. The hallways were very similar to a selection of Polanski films. A sum of observations made me only confabulate in my remaining time how this apart hotel institution without building service really works. How do they clean, why don't we have contact with those responsible (besides the tlf.), etc.? Does this method really prevent problems? On my floor, the washing machine was showing signs of problems and on the corridor was soaked with water and soap. As we are in summer, I wore flip flops and I could feel the soap impregnating it. Shouldn't there be a comrade who sort of checked those blunders? The first floor reserves a fascinating sculpture plus 2 empty pubs. At night they close as if they were jewelry stores and the corridor to the apartments looks like the exit from a bank.

Our apartments are situated in Oslo’s Majorstuen district, Bogstadveien shopping street is just 2 minutes’ walk away. The Frogner Park, with the Vigeland Sculpure Park, is 1 km away. The Royal Palace is a short walk away. Our fantastic apartments include a well-equipped kitchenette, free WiFi access, a private balcony, double bed, sitting area, 40” flat screen TV and a Nespresso coffee maker.
We are here for two nights! We are very happy about the facility and the space we got. Very quiet residential place next to a street with everything you need! Walking distance to the castle and to vigerlands park. Close to tram stop. Not far from underground.

This property is situated in a quiet street, very centrally located in the Vika area within walking distance to the west city centre of Oslo. The apartments are simple with a minimalist interior. Nice apartments with reasonable prices that we think you will enjoy. In Arbins gate 3 we have 83 apartments ranging from a simple studio to a 2 bedroom. The building has an elevator. All apartments have kitchenettes with a microwave, a two-plate cooker and a small refrigerator. There is a dining table with chairs, a seating group and/or a lounge chair, cable-TV, Wi-Fi, and bathroom with a shower. There is a laundromat with a washing machine and dryer shared by all residents. You can check-in in the entrance Arbins gate 3.
Very bad experience. Bad smell in the corridor, dirty bathroom and the view was a brick wall. Nowhere was it mentioned the view would be a huge brick wall right outside the window, barely any sunlight. Room was mostly clean, but won’t come back again.

Booked a room for the weekend on the 7th floor with a a nice balcony (terrace). The room has a kitchenette with basic appliances and a small table. No sofa or lounger so there was no were to chill out in the evening but on the bed (the TV is in the kitchen). Good value for money. Grönland is somewhat of a shady area unfortunately. We didn't really feel safe at night seeing people dealing drugs... It's very central and convenient but Next time I'll choose another location.

So, we were there in March 2014, the apartment had 4 bedrooms, common living room and kitchen, 2 common bathrooms out of which only one with a shower. The place was fully equipped, you had everything you needed there for cooking, unfortunately it was not that clean. The area is quite close to downtown Oslo and lots of sightseeing attractions, to shops and pubs and restaurants too. The prices were pretty fair, the only thing I didn´t like was that, when the apartment is full of people, the bathrooms would be quite disgusting...
