The Hawaiian island of Oahu is a surfer’s paradise, with swelling waves that can reach epic heights. No wonder, then, that it’s the site of one of the world’s premier competitions, the Triple Crown of Surfing. If hanging ten isn’t your thing, you can still enjoy the beautiful beaches – particularly famous Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. Art connoisseurs will appreciate the annual Hale'iwa Arts Festival, a celebration of local crafts, painting, jewelry, sculpture, dance, and music.

Waikiki Shore is the only beachfront condominium on Waikiki Beach, located amid the famed restaurants and upscale boutiques of Waikiki Beach Walk. Studios, one- and two-bedroom suites are equipped with kitchens and in-room washers and dryers and have stunning views of the ocean, park, and weekly fireworks.
We have stayed at Waikiki Shore in the past and had a very good experience but room 1012 is a DUMP. The carpet was filthy and I mean filthy. After wearing shoes all day, not sandals, I walked across the carpet a few times to unpack, went to take a shower and left black footprints in the shower. The kitchen mat was filthy and the tile on the lanai was cracked and buckled. Our son used the fold out couch and it was horrible. He said it felt like is was full of baseballs. They do not offer parking however, the desk person recommended to ask security. Sure enough, for $35/night we were able to park on-site. The general staff (NOT ALII VACATION RENTALS) was great. Also, the WI-FI was indeed very fast! But for the unit itself (1012) stay away!

The location was great! It was 2 blocks from Waikiki beach. You’re surrounded by many places to eat and shop. The service was great! Eager to respond to our needs. And the view from the apartment was amazing. It overlooked at Diamond Head. We were very pleased with our selection of hotel.

Customer service and location are excellent. Small rooms. Noisy AC and uncomfortable sofabed. Cinnamons has good food... Could have had more entertainment options. Dave's ice cream conveniently located on site.

Went to the Tukwila office to pick up our $40 and our ‘free’ trip to Disneyland. Made the mistake of asking if they could turn done the SUPER LOUD music and ended up getting kicked out. Before we did, Michael brought us to an office and berated us for complaining about the music. He told us that we had been invited there and that we did not get to complain ? (Well, Michael, if you were a decent host, you would listen to your ‘guests’ when they are telling you they are uncomfortable and not freak out on them in the most unprofessional manner I’ve ever witnessed ?♀️). I told him that this was not for us and we started to leave. He jumped up and insisted that he was throwing us out ? We’re still laughing about the whole thing! I said to my husband as we were leaving ‘at least we got our $40 back!’ To which Michael replied, ‘yeah, well you probably burned more than that on gas getting here!’ Am, no we didn’t Michael, we had been staying with friends just down the road ? Seriously, avoid these guys. Rude and unprofessional. So glad we save ourselves from having to attend the 90 minute presentation!!

Me and my love stayed here once we had an accommodation fall through. Nicco ( so sorry if I’m misspelling his name!) was super nice, he upgraded us for free which was wonderful. There was a full size fridge easy access to restaurants and shops, no view of the beach which was perfectly okay with us. There was plenty of clean good smelling towels and the room had a coffee maker, some dishes and was overall wonderful! Now for the not so good part. If you have a kid or infant or pet even. I would recommend against this place only because there was a bar with … LOUD music. Me and my love are heavy sleepers and at the end of the day or if you’re so sunburned you have to nurse it at your hotel, the music ( I thought was a wedding the first night, my brain was like awww cool! Love music) the music and base and the woman singing was belting all the way until 2 am. I thought okay not so bad right? Nope. She did it the next night as well and then the next. Every night it was music so loud that we couldn’t sleep, the music was so loud we couldn’t watch any movie to drown it out or anything. ( yet again a cute perfect place which the owner was super sweet and in a central location) it was honestly just the music. Starting from 3:30 all the way until 2 am. So! If you have kids or a baby, see if you could stay on the other side of the building maybe? Because it was a super cute place, just the music was too much ( yet again not the owners fault he was perfectly lovely). So great place. Just bad music booming until 2 am every night.

This was our second time staying at the Turtle Bay properties, but our first time staying in the Ocean Front Villas. They were fantastic. The communication from the time we booked all the way up until check in was great. The villas themselves are plenty spacious and gave our 4 person family plenty of room. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pool is nice. The locker with all the goodies to use at the beach was a huge hit for our young kids. Turtle Bays property is incredible. If you've never been to it or stayed here I highly highly recommend it. From the beach area, to the hotel, to the pool and restaurants, the hiking, it's everything you want in a Hawaiian vacation. Unfortunately, after the remodel and renovations, staying in the actual Turtle Bay resort is not going to be an option for us. The renovations are absolutely incredible, but the prices are now outrageous. Definitely recommend staying at the Villas instead. They're more spacious, gated parking, etc. While still not cheap, their prices are much better overall. You can still use the beach and eat and walk all around the Turtle Bay properties. You can't use the pool (even though my 6 year old went down their water slide several times). Overall, our experience with Ocean Front Villas at Turtle Bay was top notch.
