The most populous (with 18 million people) and westernmost (bordering Belgium and the Netherlands) of Germany's federal states, North Rhine-Westphalia is one of Europe's most highly industrialized areas, with an impressive 30 cities of more than 100,000. Cologne is the district's biggest city, and the capital is Dusseldorf. Bonn, the former capital of West Germany, is also here. All three are part of the Rhine-Ruhr region of nearly 12 million people, one of Europe's biggest metropolitan areas.

We stayed in this hotel as recommended by my daughter. They have friendly staffs, the room we stayed in is spacious and bright, clean and with kitchenette, and their breakfast is cheaper compared to other hotels. The day we arrived there, the weather was too hot and they don't have a/c unit, only a small table top electric fan which was useless at that time. Overall, it is a nice hotel.

This is a newer hotel. They are one of the few places I have stayed in this area and they have rooms that offer a refrigerator and stove top. The beds are very comfortable and I had no problems getting rest. The staff there is very nice and they go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant.

Middle of the city near the old town. Small apartments. Very well decorated, comfortable beds, small kitchen & lounge type area. Very nice bathroom. No net curtains on large windows so nearby people in tall buildings across the road could see into the room! Not expensive & well situated. Excellent central location ideal for going to visit the old town for restaurants and shops etc. Parking was a bit of a pain, but we managed to find an underground car park which costs 8 Euros per night. Room was comfortable and clean too.

The appartment we were given was nothing like the photos on the website which showed a large appartment with armchair seating etc. Also No Air Conditioning as in the listing. I had to move the bed away from the wall so I could get in ! When I complained about the size etc the owner blamed Booking.com for the incorrect listing and was very dismissive. Very poor customer service - would Not stay there again. p.s there was Building work going on while we were there and the lift was not always available & my wife has a walking disability which had notified the owners about !

My husband and I stayed in a ground floor apartment for 2 nights. The location is fantastic and with car parking too, it's perfect. The appartment was great. Fully equiped worth everything we needed and very comfortable. We had an issue using the code to enter the appartment out of hours but the manger was so helpful and kind, even though we woke her up! I would definitely recommend.

Hotel apartments located directly on the spa gardens and landscaped gardens, spacious apartments with separate living and sleeping areas, bathroom with shower and toilet (some with barrier-free bathrooms), TV, balcony and free WiFi. Elevator and underground car park available In a few minutes you can reach the old town, the graduation towers, the thermal baths and the salt grotto. Walking paths start right at the house.
Gast Orientierung gleich null!

Sleepy Cologne is located on the second floor of Unicenter. The door access to the hotel is locked which the hotel key cannot help open the door. You would need to go to the front desk of Unicenter every time so as to get the door unlocked. It is super inconvience. It is quite often that the front desk is working with their residents which you need to wait quite a while in order to get the door open. I checked in on Sunday which the wifi was fine. It is stated in the instruction that there is a second choice of wifi but it never pops up. However, it starts not working from Tue to Fri! I have my other friends in another room which the wifi is not working as well. I saw the person next to my room need to go out to the small common area (which is not supposed for you to hang out there) so as to get internet access. The main issue is there is no support from the hotel. There is no one here when you need help. You need to call for help. And there is no phone you can use in the phone, At the end, I need to get to the front desk of the Unicenter, which is unrelated to the hotel, in order to ask for a phone to call. The staff is very unhelpful and dishonest. My roommate and I did not call for help on Tue night as we tired to be nice. We thought the housekeeping will figure out the problem and then fix the wifi. Obviously they did not. Then I call them from the front desk of Unicenter. The man over the phone denied the wifi isn't working in the day. They try to claim it is my equipment's problem which I have stated clearly that the wifi had worked. They refuse to come to fix the problem as it is the night time. As there is no staff around, every problem will leave to another day. I finally see someone the 2 days later. The wifi is still not working. The man refused to help anything. He started to blame my nationality which I am not living in where I am from. I have told them already that it is not only me not having wifi so do all my other friends in the other rooms as well. They are from all over the world. The man just do not do anything and put the blame to their customer.

In the exciting Ehrenfeld, in the “Veedel” of the “Veedel” in Cologne, the new JOYN Cologne opens in the listed building of the former factory of 4711. It is the “Multikulti-Veedel” of artists, studios, theatres and clubs such as the “Live Music Hall”, the “Loft” and the “Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld”. The JOYN Cologne is located at Venloer Straße 241-245 and offers 112 new apartments in different categories, from Basic to Studio Plus Apartments. JOYN offers the guest the best comfort in every category, combined with a modern and urban design. A fully equipped kitchenette (from Smart category), a spacious bathroom, a clever working area and a comfortable sitting area make the JOYN Apartments ideal for longer stays. JOYN offers a temporary second home that is not always easy to find in Cologne. Cologne as a temporary home or travel destination has many sights to offer: the Neptunbad from 1912, the Technology Park, the Balloni Halls and the Helio Tower from 1885 are just around the corner. Supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants and typical Kölsch pubs are also in the immediate vicinity. The good infrastructural location once again underlines the excellent location of JOYN Cologne in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. Our Serviced Apartments are located not far from the city centre, which shows its most beautiful sides with the Cologne Cathedral, the beautiful Old Town and the Rhine. The JOYN Cologne is located not far from here, between the stops Körnerstraße and Piusstraße (lines 3 and 4). The S-Bahn station “Köln Ehrenfeld” can be reached on foot in about 12 minutes. The JOYN Cologne is also very easy to reach by train and from Cologne/Bonn Airport. You can also reach JOYN via the A59, on arrival simply follow the parking garage signs to Barthonia Forum/Kaufland. The trade fair „Koelnmesse“ can be reached in 14 minutes by car or 20 minutes by public transport.
Joyn Cologne is situated in very lively district of Cologne. Near to S and U bahn stations. The street has every amenities that you might need, several supermarkets, restaurants The building itself has a cold 70´s feeling but inside of the rooms are nicely refurbished with modern design, including cute mini Smeg fridges. Bathroom was particularly nice. Self check in process seems complicated at first but actually is easy and efficient. Reception desk is helpful when needd My only complaint was the kids noise coming from outside such as Kindergarten but hotel can not do anything about it. Recommendd
