Gateway to the stunning beaches of Rio Grande do Norte, the city of Natal is perched on Brazil's Atlantic coast, at the mouth of the Potengi River. Escape the bustle at secluded Pipa and Pirangi beaches or live it up at Genipabu and Tibau do Sul. The city is surrounded by Dune State Park. Go on a buggy ride over 30-foot sand dunes or tour the dunes on a dromedary tour. The city is home to the cleanest air on the continent, according to NASA, and also to the world's largest cashew tree.

The rooms have a fridge, beds, little bench area with a sink and bathroom. It's a little back from the beach, you need to cross a very busy road and walk downhill, which makes it harder in the afternoon, as to get back from the beach you then need to walk uphill. It has two entrances at either end of the building. They have a small kitchen where guests can prepare meals. It's close to supermarkets and food trucks and some restaurants. About a 20 minute walk from a small shopping small. I thought it was a bit expensive for what they were charging. You are also at the southern end of Natal, very far from Centro. I visited in December and accommodation was limited. I'd stay again if it was about 30% cheaper. Reception also only operates limited hours.

awful apartment, old and dirty, noisy, really small swimming pool for a hotel. Not coming back for sure. the chairs where plastic and grey because of the dirt, the fabric of the sofa all broke for the use, the kitchen dirty, the windows didnt close enough so we listen to the music from the bar outside. The only pro is the location, in front of the sea.

I had been there for a couple of days, and I was very surprise. It was very cheap, the room and facilities were excelente and the employees ware kind and gentle. The room has a good sized room with air condictioner, there is a livinf room and a kitchen, with fridge and everithing you need to cook. It is better to rent a car in Natal, because the airport is very far away from the city center. This Apart Hotel Aguai is located at a central beach, and I think is wonderfull value for money.

The only weak points are the wifi, loud AC, no window (or appropriate ventilation system ) in one bathroom and breakfast. Everything else is cool. It's well located, near the exit to RN's South beaches, like Pipa and Cumurupim, and Ponta Negra. Nice staff, always willing to help. The room is clean, and they keep it that way.
