good...but could be exceptional
Reviewed By Magda Kwe have checked in late at arround 18:00... was a woman at the reception who did not speak english..... she gave me someone else's rooms......lucky we checked and came fast to change they keys. the rooms were clean....comfortable ...but no toiletries after we took the the luggage up i return to pay...she was gone.....and no one answered the phone written on the door sticker.... the next morning we left early...still no one there at 7:30...so i had to write throw the booking site to ask for an details regarding the payment.... i got the info regarding the payment and they were very nice on the phone. maybe a different person at the reception would be an improvement.....i could not get the wifi code or ask about anything.....even though she was a nice lady....hard to comunicate

Reviewed By X0815Beautiful rooms, very clean, very modern, very quiet, fast Wifi, friendly staff! I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely go back there as soon as I am in the area. The only little (tiny) complaint I have is that the hotel is close to the freeway, but if the windows are closed you don't notice it.

Wunderschönes Appartement mit hohem Wohlfühlfaktor
Reviewed By Global13039796317Ich habe ein sehr schönes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartement vorgefunden, das zudem gründlichst gereinigt wurde. Aufgrund des hochwertigen Bettes konnte ich so wunderbar schlafen, dass mich nur der tolle Kaffeeautomat, der samt Kapseln zur Verfügung stand, überhaupt aus dem Bett locken konnte. Den Kaffee konnte ich bei Sonnenstrahlen, eingekuschelt auf dem Balkon zum Garten hin genießen. Trotz der zentralen Lage mitten in der Stadt Straubing war es ruhig. Ich habe mich sehr wohl in der Donau Lodge gefühlt und kann das Bordinghouse daher nur weiterempfehlen. Herzlichen Dank für diese tolle Möglichkeit!

Reviewed By ppboyleFound it difficult to check in as I arrived when reception was unmanned But overall nice clean hotel Breakfast Buffet was good ample car parking not far from motorway, I did not hear any traffic noise, not all the staff speak English but they are all helpful. As I was working not to far away I did not try the evening food.

Reviewed By Heiko SNette Aufnahme an der Rezeption, vernünftig gezeigt bekommen wie es zum Zimmer geht. Zimmergröße wunderbar und auch das Badezimmer völlig ausreichend und alles sauber. Das Highlight war das Frühstücksbüffet am nächsten Morgen - einfach nur lecker und reichhaltig zudem ist der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich! Gerne wieder!

House Jaegerfleck is located only steps from the Nationalpark Bavarian Forest. The house is suited on a large idyllic property. You can hike and x-country ski right from this place. You'll feel highly comfortable here if you're a naturelover.Bus and train in all the Nationalparkarea is free of charge.
The perfect apartment in the perfect place
Reviewed By Igal73We ( family of 2 adults and 2 kids 10+5 y/o) rented the Lusen apartment for a week. The apartment is just perfect: tastefully designed, spacious ,spotlessly clean and equipped with everything that you may need. The beds are comfortable. The sauna is very nice and relaxing. The owner, Annette, is very friendly and she's always ready to help. Annette gave us a lot of useful advises about sightseeing in the area. The location is also perfect . A lot of attractions are in 30 minutes to one hour driving distance. In addition, there're numerous well signposted forest trails, some of them start just next to the house ( we recommend picturesque trail to Steinclamm). The big forest playground is located within 5 minute walking and it really was the paradise for our kids. Highly recommend!!

Nice Hotel but not all that it seems
Reviewed By Ruth13readingGood basic Hotel with friendly staff. Rooms do not have aircon (it was 36 when there) and if windows are open noise drifts in from other rooms/balconies. Clean, reasonsable kitchen area and good breakfast. This Hotel is on a complex of Hotels next to the Spa. The pool etc are NOT part of the Hotel despite how the photos make it look. We were told that it would costs 16 euros a day per person to use the spa. Good hotel but check what the price of the room includes.

fantastic place to stay

The room was spotlessly clean, bright and airy, the bathroom had a great shower.. Liked the big communal table in the breakfast room, great way to meet and chat to other guests. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and most spoke a bit of English. Would definitely go back...
