Southwest of Seville, Jerez is a well-heeled place. It’s the home of the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and its famous dancing horses; if you’re on a budget or can’t be there for a formal performance, it’s worth dropping in to catch a morning training session. The other major reason to visit Jerez is to sample its most famous product—sherry. You can do this at a number of bodegas associated with the world’s best-known brands, including Bodegas Tio Pepe, The House of Sandeman, Jerez, and Pedro Domecq. They’ll soon have you knowing your amontillado from your oloroso. There’s also an Alcázar, dating back to the time of the Almohads, which features a small mosque, now the chapel of Santa María Real.

Our host Millie was very convivial and offered lots of suggestions and advice Unfortunately the accomodation was not as expected We were advised it was a ground floor apartment. It was up a very steep staircase on the first floor totally unsitable for a disabled person. From the kitchen you had a step down of at least 30cm into the living area. There was no kettle. Also not as advertised no washing machine or tumble dryer. The cooking utensils were very limited. There was no parking on site apart from a disabled bay right outside the building parking was available about 5 or 6 minutes walk away at a very reaonable 4.95€ per 24 hours On the plus side the apartment was spotless and situated only munutes from town centre. My main criticism is the accomidation was falsely represented on the Bookings. Com web page. I am 76 years old and find negotiating steep steps with a suitcase quite a daunting task particularly when i was told it was ground floor In conclusion we paid only 109€ for a three night stay so what can you expect

Without doubt this is one of the best places I have ever stayed in in Spain. 300 year old Andalucian mansion with beautiful and clean apartments around a patio which is cool and verdant. Sad to be leaving but will return.

Apartments " El Patio Andaluz" is a house with captivation, framed in the very city center, close to the Villamarta Theatre and the Medina Street, in one of the best places in Jerez, exactly in "Prieta street", just a few minutes walking from the main monuments like the Alcazar, the Cathedral and very close to the shops, bars, resturants, Plaza Arenal and Larga street, in the heart of Jerez. It is a beautiful house with the typical architecture from Jerez with courts with plants and the typical colors of the south Spain as the white and the ochers. The house has 4 Apartments overlooking the main courtyard with table and chairs of wood where you can enjoy a barbecue, a calm evening, resting, reading, or to spend a nice talk with the rest of the guests.
The location of the appartment is very convenient to exit the city (by car) and to reach the city center (walking distance). Free parking place can be found 10 min away (walking distance; not so easy to reach by car; you will need a GPS) from the appartment. There is 4 or 5 appartments/rooms sharing the two patios that are pretty small and less attractives than on the pictures. The room we had was big enough except the bathroom that was extremey tiny. The room decoration is pretty old fashion; matter of taste! For breakfast and dinner you can find 2 min away from the appartment a very big Supermarket. All together, except the location, we were quit disspointed by this place Especially in comparison of all the other locations in Andalusia. Jerez de la Frontiera has a very beautiful church but nothing else that require a special stay. Medina Sidonia and Cornil'de la frontiera are much more beautiful.

We walked from the station (the wrong way) but eventually finding Plaza del Banco. No sign of the accommodation though After half an hour of frustration, a stranger approached us asking if we were how we were. It was the owner, telling us that the property was located only 6 minutes walk away which turned out to be more like 10 minutes. He did point out places of interest. We arrived in a court yard and were shown our room, the cleaner was still finishing off there.Simple but clean and pleasant (the room, not the cleaner). We were given a map with points of interest circled on it.After going to carrfour for supplies we took the dining table into the court yard and had a picnic in the afternoon sun Lovely The kitchen was well equiped and the bed was comfortable. What more do you need?

Very spacious and situated in the center of the city. Has all mod cons - washing machine, TV, well appointed kitchen. Many bars situated close by and a bakery which has an excellent Spanish breakfast menu. The bar opposite has good menu del dia and various tapas. The concierge lives in the building and is available at all times.

We stayed here for three nights and had an awesome experience. Our appartement was perfect for a stay in the city. It was clean, with modern interior, a small kitchen with fridge and everything you need to cook and eat and comfortable. The location is great, you can walk everywhere in the city, bars and restaurants are nearby, so are supermarkets, if you want to prepare food by yourself or want to stock up some drinks in the fridge. The staff was really friendly, we can recommend this place to anybody looking for a really nice appartement in Jerez.
