Roscoe Village Guesthouse is a new contemporary urban inn, tastefully decorated and located in one of Chicago’s most desirable neighborhoods, Roscoe Village. The area derives its distinctive character from charming boutiques and popular restaurants and bars. Only 4.5 blocks from the “El” that will take you downtown to all attractions 10-20 min. The Guesthouse has six suites, either 2 or 3 bedrooms with 2 baths, full kitchen, fireplace, stainless steel appliances, and granite.
We stayed for Christmas Holiday 2018 with our family coming in from 3 different states. It was perfect for our stay. Well appointed, we were able to cook in the unit’s great kitchen to bring food to family gatherings. Clean unit. Walking distance to several fantastic restaurants (Volo, Cuba 312, Altiro Latin Fusion). We are coming back again in Sep 2019 for a wedding.

Great experience with the best staff I have ever been around. Nicole, Cassie and Thomas are the absolutely best. Could not have imagined what it would have been like without them. They are very helpful in every way possible.

We had to cancel our reservation due to Covid. We received a cancelation email but we have yet to receive our refund after several months of trying to contact them. Their phone number voice mailbox is always full and we can find another way to contact them.

The grounds are well maintained abut the units are outdated and not well equipped. Get the top floor because the units are very noisy with someone staying above you. Taking a walk in the morning is great because the area is quiet.

We absolutely love Nauvoo Vacation Villas. This was our third time staying there and we would definitely stay there again, as well as tell all our friends about it. The villas are big and roomy, clean, and comfortable. It is so nice to have a full kitchen to be able to prepare meals and not have to eat out all the time. We were there with another couple, and it is so nice for both couples to have their own bathrooms. The beds were comfy and there are good sized bathrooms. The location is perfect for visiting Nauvoo as it is very close to everything there. I can't say enough good about it. This is our favorite place, and our go to place. Thank you to all the staff who make this such a nice place. We will come here again.

Our visit to the one bedroom home once resided in by the lockmasters was full of History. These homes face the Ohio River, and you can enjoy the scenery from a screened in porch. The moon on the water was stunning. If you are looking to get away from it all, try one of these homes. They are fully equipped and decorated with period style Furniture. If you have time, there is an audio tour that you can take of the surrounding town of Golconda. Very small town Illinois! We also ate in two of the neighborhood restaurants which were very good and safe during the Coronavirus.

When we arrived in Chicago it was raining and cold. We phoned the day before our arrival and obtained a promise to have our appartment earlier then 3 pm if possible. But at the reception we met a woman who knew nothing about the conversation we had had before. She was the most unpolite and unwilling to help frontdesk woman I had ever met. As she'd made a great favour she let us to leave the luggage at the frontdesk. The appartment is very well situated. But is in a common block of flat not as they are in Europe. It is clean. But we had no bedsheets for the third bed. The windows couldn't close properly so it was windy and cold inside. We could not let the AC working all the night long because the air blew into the beds.

A nice room, but hard on the legs with luggage and narrow stairs. Convenient to shops and food. Off street parking would be nice. Some issues with moldy coffee grounds in the maker. Housekeeping a little lax.

I booked this property through booking.com, and then a few months after i had booked, i got an email to say the following: ''This property was input incorrectly (and has now been corrected) but we are unable to hold your apartment without a credit card. Thank you for making your reservation with Manilow Suites through Booking.com. Please respond here with your email address and we will send out a digital application form for you to fill out and send back to us. The form will come from a sender identified as “Right Signature”. It may go to your spam box, recommend checking there if you don’t see it'' To which i did exactly what was told, even though i had provided my card details in the first place. I also asked what the problem was. To which i got this response: ''Nothing you did was wrong, the error was on our end. We incorrectly stated that the apartment didn't need to be paid for ahead of time , however we do require payment in order to hold an apartment, so we will use the above email address to send out a digital application "eSign" form which will come from a sender identified as "Right Signature" Before i even had chance to do this, i find out on booking.com that they are telling me that i have to cancel the booking!!! Obviously i am not wanting to cancel my booking, so i get back in touch with them times to ask if my booking is to be cancelled and what is going on, and i hear absolutley NOTHING!!! I just find it totally disgusting that i have emailed, and emailed, NUMEROUS times, to explain that i need to know whether i am booked in or not, as i dont want to turn up to Chicago to find i have no booking. And they have still not responded. Neither a simple yes or no, to answer my question, so then i am able to go ahead and get somewhere else booked. So i have had to cancel it myself which i am not happy about as i now need to find somewhere else to stay (with prices now alot higher as ive been waiting so long to get a response back from them) Its just disgusting as they definitely have an email, as they were ok to email me in the first place, and then to tell me to cancel my booking. Since then i have hear absolutely nothing from them . Not even a sorry. Communication, terrible. Customer service, terrible. Caring about a customers booking, terrible
