Excellent, my favorite hotel in Korea
Reviewed By Andy HI am a frequent business traveller to Korea, and this is my favorite hotel. I've been in several hotels, including Suwon Ramada/Ibis/Stay 7, and Dongtan Ramada and Shilla Stay, and Stay & Home is my favorite. I've stayed at Stay & Home several times by myself, and also with my family. In fact, I spent 3 months here in 2015 with my family. Here's why I like Stay & Home the best: - You get a full kitchen, complete with stove, microwave, sink, large refrigerator and freezer, and cookware. Great if you want to cook some meals for yourself. It's generally very hard to even find a hotel in Korea that has microwaves, so this makes Stay & Home unique. - It's in Dongtan, across the street from the Shilla Stay. Very convenient to Samsung Hwaseong, Giheung, and DSR sites. - Good free breakfast selection, including several western dishes. - Convenient to Metapolis Mall and Homeplus (like American Super Wal-Mart), restaurants, stores, taxi stand, bus stops, etc. - Free access to health club 2 blocks away. - Price is great compared to many other hotels. - Great city park in Dongtan that you can walk to without ever crossing a road. - Staff speaks English and is very helpful. My first time using the bus system, they helped me find the bus routes. When I stayed here last summer, they made some phone calls on my request, to find volunteer opportunities for my daughters. When I had an emergency appendicitis, the hotel staff even visited me in the hospital. Every stay they give me a gift when I'm leaving, and they even help me carry my suit cases to the airport shuttle bus stop. - Clothes washer/dryer in every room -- very convenient. They even provide laundry detergent. - The rooms are basically Korean apartments. Much bigger and nicer than typical small hotel rooms. Bright and modern. Lots of cabinet and dresser space. Stay & Home is a little harder to find than some hotels, because the front desk is on the 8th floor. However, they send you a document with your reservation that gives you instructions on how to find it. So be sure to read that document, and after the first day, there won't be any issue. Truly a hidden gem. In short, if you're in the Dongtan area, and you want to cook some of your own food, or have a family with you, or just want to save some money compared to a high-end business hotel, this is the hotel to stay in.

Superb comfortable feels like home
Reviewed By scgv1What a wonderful little place to stay, beautiful room with a fantastic view lovely balcony so I could sit and enjoy it. Room was very clean and comfortable. WiFi was great. The owners are just so nice and kind always offer a smile and a cup of tea. The breakfast here was amazing it would fill you up for the day. The little lounge area was so welcoming, I usually avoid these areas but I really enjoyed sitting here quietly there’s a tv there if you want it also. TV also in the room which was a great bonus as many other hotels in the area don’t offer one. It’s steps from the beach and the center of the town. I felt really safe here as I am female travelling solo. Honestly I’m very picky and I can only say good things about here. I had such a wonderful time. Such a great place.

Reviewed By 린925연말 친구들 가족들과 모임을 하기 위해 예약한 곳입니다. 호텔이라는 이름과 달리 팬션같이 운영되는 곳이고 생긴지 얼마되지 않아 무척이나 깨끗합니다. 저희는 인원이 많아 2개의 숙소를 잡았는데요. 한 숙소당 3개의 방과 2개의 화장실이 있고 복층구조입니다. 보일러가 너무 뜨끈뜨끈해서 전원을 꺼도 한참을 가더라고요ㅎㅎ 팬션단지 안에 편의점과 각종 편의시설이 있어서 좋았구요. 창문을 열만 바로 강이 보인것도 마음에 들었습니다. 바베큐 가격(3만원)이 그리 저렴하진 않지만 숯도 추가해 주시고 친절하게 응대해 주셔서 마음에 들었습니다.

Reviewed By Adrian RWe booked online with agado.com as the property boasted services that just did not exist. The place was shabby and did not reflect the advertising. We arrived late at night so we're forced to spend one night there. We were shown 4 rooms before they found one with TV and WIFI both working. Breakfast included was purchased from a local cafe. The owner wanted to reduce the price when we pointed out that the advertising didn't reflect the property. She blamed Agodo and said they look after the website . We contacted and advised Agodo and 8 days later the website is still up and has not been edited. They refunded all but the first nights accommodation but should have also refunded this as to what we purchased was not what we got! Warning do not go there .

Clean, comfortable, non-smoking
Reviewed By cobbdouglasShort walk from Suwon station, near restaurants, shops and convenience stores. Comfortable bed, sufficiently large room. Has blackout curtains too. The staff speak basic English, enough for most needs. Overall, good value for money. My only problem was the soundproofing (new wing). If your neighbors aren't considerate, you can hear them shouting or slamming their doors. This is one of the few affordable hotels that aren't love hotels in the area though, so I'd definitely stay here if I find myself in Suwon again.

The most awful and the worst resort I stayed in korea
Reviewed By O4673XSjonathansOur room inside Kensington was really horrible as it is as though we are living in a motel. Also the drainage system in the restroom was slow and didn’t function properly. But the scenery was really beautiful and nice.
