Greece is one of those rare places where ancient history is still very much a part of modern life. Visitors are as much drawn to the country’s epic intellectual history as its beauty and charm. Make time for the iconic features of the Acropolis of Athens, which include the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike. Mythology buffs will appreciate Crete, Olympia, Samos, and Naxos for their mythological significance. For a peaceful beach vacation, the island of Santorini is perfect.

We were here very welcome. On our first day we got a room with private pool. After the first night we moved into a even bigger room with a wonderful seaside view. Everyone was absolutely friendly and helped us with all our questions.

The location, facilities and generosity was fantastic. We had such a great time here, we were both so sad to be leaving, we had such a lovely time and this was helped by all the staff. We are eternally grateful for helping us to have such a memorable Honeymoon. We will mostly definitely be going back

We enjoyed our stay at Kymothoe Elite. Pros: - Nick is such a great host, he gave us lots of good tips for the island. Make sure to ask for restaurants recommendations :) - Really nice ocean view from the balcony. Great for sunrises! - Very convenient location and away from the crowds: ~15mins drive from the airport, ~10 mins drive to all the beaches and restaurants. - Great breakfast - super friendly dog on site Cons: - wifi is not good: no internet access from the bedroom, maybe a little from the living room early morning, would need to sit on the balcony to have a slightly better connection. Cell reception could be really bad here as well.

What can we say about this amazing little gem we stayed at.. Our host Marina and her husband Giannis are 2 of the most friendly and accommodating people you can meet, greeted with coffee, homemade cake and lemonade every morning, nothing was to much trouble, We'd go back in a heartbeat. We will return again next year for sure. The maid cleaned our room to a high standard and clean towels every day with added flowers in a Vase too. Ive added a few pics of the grounds... Just Beautiful and Stunning. Thanks Marina & Giannis, your amazing hosts.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Kouros hotel for a week. The hotel was lovely, so beautiful designed and very clean. The pool area had enough sun beds and areas to sit. There was a pool bar, which did lovely cocktails and food. Cocktails and food could also be served to you at the pool, if you liked. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They all do such a good job. Breakfast was good, continental style and had many choices. We went to the restaurant for one night, the food was lovely but quite pricey. We stayed in two different rooms both spacious, clean and beautifully designed. We asked to move rooms to have a view of the pool as our room was looking over a building site (however this was not getting built on when we were staying). We were given a free upgrade to a room with a hot tub looking over the ocean which was just stunning- thanks to George. The hotel was a short 10/15 minute walk to the Faliraki centre and a 5 min walk to beach. You could walk along the beach going past restaurants and bars, walking into the centre or walk along the street. There is a few small supermarkets around the hotel for food and drinks. We got the boat from the harbour to Rhodes town for the day which I definitely recommend. We also hired a car and went to Lindos which was stunning.

We had the most amazing 4 nights at this hotel and were so sad to leave! The staff were incredible from arrival, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Apologies I can’t remember everyone’s names but Poppy, Zee and all the staff were just incredible. So friendly, accommodating and truly couldn’t so enough for you. Our room was very clean, spacious and the beds were comfy too. The bathroom was nice and modern, rainfall shower was lovely. Robes and slippers were a nice touch as well as all toiletries being provided. Towels were big and fluffy and so were the pool towels. Our terrace area was huge and the jacuzzi was great to have there along with sun beds. Breakfast was included and made to order each day. You can choose what you like the night before and change it as you like. Everything from omelette to fruit, yoghurts, coffee, juices - all fabulous and cooked freshly for you. No other food was available for lunch as the hotel has just reopened but they had a great local takeaway that delivered lovely gyros to us for lunch (they take card and reception can help you place the order). Th bar offers a lot of drinks options and they served us by the pool most days (it was quiet so we just nipped down to reception when we needed anything and someone came up to us. The water was free, a large bottle in the room each day and by the pool too. We thought that was a nice touch as most places really rip you off for it. Other drinks as well were well priced like Pimms cocktails at 9€ (fira town start from about 14!) There is a free shuttle 3 times a day to get to fira which was really handy. You can get a taxi but it’s 10-15€ which is a bit mad for a 5 min drive. You could walk it but it’s not a great walk and may take 20-30 mins. Nowhere to walk to from the hotel really but that’s what we loved about it as it’s more remote which offers better privacy than the hotels in the towns. All staff worked so hard, they’re up early cleaning around the pool and making sure the walkways are swept too. The only notes for improvement we have is that more hooks would be useful to dry towels and a rack outside too. Also we booked a room for 3 which was shown as a double bed and double sofa bed but this was actually single sofa bed. Otherwise we really loved the place and would absolutely come back. For the service etc it’s one of the best places we’ve stayed in the world.

My husband and I stayed here for one night before we joined a tour that was using another hotel. We wished we were still here rather than the superior hotel the tour group uses! Why, you may ask? 1. Location, close to everything, the archaeological museum, the white tower 2. Anna, at the front desk was beyond accommodating! Always went beyond! 3. Loved the fact that they had Netflix and Prime Video on their TV! I could use my log in credentials and watch on the big screen 4. Very nice breakfast, you order in advance and they bring to your room.. don't need to wait in a buffet line for what may be left! Would definitely return!

Nice hotel and very friendly staff on check in. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices and fresh juice. Wifi and aircon worked well and a nearby supermarket. Room (and bathroom) was fairly small. Good value for money overall. Centre of town is about a 10-15 minute walk

Guests are getting more for their money when compared to other properties in this city. We speak your language!
I stayed here with 2 x friends in June, we were initially in a triple studio with partial sea view and jacuzzi which for 3 ladies was perfect. The terrace was lovely and large, the jacuzzi was warm and we were ideally located near the reception at the bottom of the hotel. The Receptionists at the hotel were nothing short of amazing, they were so helpful, knowledgeable and nothing was a problem for them. We had a small hiccup on our trip which was swiftly sorted by the Manager Elena who couldn’t be helpful enough. N.B Elena is by far one of the best Hotel Managers I have ever come across. She is passionate about the hotel, provided me with lots of interesting facts about the hotel and really enjoys working there. During our stay we moved rooms to a larger room/villa on the upper level of the hotel. (This room was nothing short of amazing and I cannot recommend enough) Rooms Triple studio – perfectly located, modern and light. Jacuzzi really added a luxury feel to this room and the terrace was perfect for eating and relaxing. Villa – Fantastic Sea view, great terrace, high ceilings, light and extra modern. I highly recommend booking a villa, it doesn’t disappoint. Both rooms had great amenities inside e.g. vanity kits, dental kits, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner which was topped up everyday. Restaurant The hotel has a newly opened restaurant named Cous which is Mediterranean fusion. The lamb chops and Strip Loin are amazing, I had a seabass which was cooked perfectly. The restaurant is a little on the pricey side in comparison to a taverna, but the food is VERY good. Breakfast is one of two options either had in the downstairs restaurant and you are able to choose items up to a value of 16 euros includes items such as poached eggs on avocado, French toast etc. You do also have to take into account a drink, so if your meal is 13 euros and your coffee is 5 euros you will need to pay the difference which is a unique way of doing things. Tropicana also has the Breakfast buffet in Cous restaurant at the top of the hotel which is a continental breakfast with 4 options of warmer items (boiled eggs, scrambled eggs & two other items which change daily) it is a very European breakfast so don’t expect eggs, beans and bacon! You are also able to order an al carte option which ranges between 12 – 20 euros. Snacks/Room service Room service was perfect, when in the villa we were able to order from Cous restaurant to our rooms and when in the Triple Studio we ordered from the downstairs restaurant. The restaurant downstairs was really well priced (5 euro for a Chicken gyros), we had club sandwiches, pasta, chips and other items here prior to going out for a late dinner and the food always came really hot and was cooked amazingly. Staff I cannot talk about the staff at Tropicana enough, the receptionist at the lower reception really started things off to a high, following to Dina in the restaurant, the security, Theo, and Vassilis the drivers. All the men who take your luggage and drive the carts between the hotel and the hotel car service who take you around the island. Everyone at the hotel is so friendly and helpful and I am sorry I cannot remember everyone’s names. The staff should pride themselves on how well they look and care for the guests. Ad-hoc The hotel has a whatsapp number where you can message them and book a car to pick you up, drop you to your location. It is reasonably priced roughly 25 euros to town cheaper than the Mykonos taxi service. Tropicana Beach Club is located next door, you can hear the music if you are sat on the balcony, but it isn’t disturbing and it cannot be heard from inside the room. There is a small mini-mart at the bottom of the hotel located by the bus stop which is great if you need drinks and snacks. Pools Pools are great and they all have a snack bar and Bali beds by them, they all play nice and chilled music. We had one day of ABBA which was fun, the pools are clean and aesthetically pleasing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for those traveling as couples and as groups of friends too, if you can fork out for a Villa I highly recommend. I will be returning to Tropicana and the views are incredible.

> was planned and built from the start as a traditional Cretan village - a "village within a village" in Platanias - with small picturesque paths, squares and gardens full of flowers. > is constantly popular for families, as it offers many amenities for people travelling with small kids.
Traveling as a couple with a small child (2yrs). This hotel was very convenient, it was easy to walk down to breakfast/dinner and the swimming pool as well. We loved the animation team which made our stay with our son so much fun, we attended the aqua gym, kids club and mini disco with him and he enjoyed it very much! The reason we don't give it 5 stars is because the dinner was not so good quality compared to greek food we tried in other restaurants - perhaps something to consider it felt a bit off. We highly recommend making use of the hotel across the street, for the spa and access to the beach, its also included as its part of the same chain. Rented a car and got parking next to the hotel - all in all highly recommended! Ps. If you ask for taxi in the lobby, we highly recommend Mario the taxi driver!
