Amazing holiday!
Reviewed By Natasha VSow we arrived at villaggio artemide and I was so pleased with location overlooking Mount etna absolutely beautiful! The bungalow was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was clean and peaceful sometimes we even had the pool to ourselves. We used the local supermarket which was 10 mins walk it was huge selling everything you needed. We filled up fridge and got some washing up liquid too and sponge for sink. First night I cooked as it was getting on and some mornings I cooked breakfast. The local beach is 10 min walk which has few beach restaurants etc and plenty of sun loungers. There is another stretch of beach which my children loved on gardinia Naxos front which was quite a trek so we always got a bus or taxi (10 euros) for taxi. You can walk it but it was bit far for my children The beach at gardinia Naxos had lots to offer and some amazing restaurants on beach front and shops etc. Some. Evenings we even went there for meals, the night porter at hotel sabastenio is so lovely. He offered to be oir taxi service and was super friendly. We just used to call him for lifts and organise things. Then we used the bus which was easy and great. There's bus stop outside hotel but we never saw a bus maybe we missed it but we used the stop up the road near a hotel and it came every 30 mins or so. I'm sure there's others that come even more requarly but we used this as it was easy to walk to and we knew it well. The bus was great took us to taoramini which was absolutely stunning place. We went there twice and with one night being late got taxi service home calling Sebastiano which was 20 euros back. One day we visited we got bus back with it being early. There are 2 local good restaurants near the hotel walking distance very good value, we ate in one of them twice but most nights visited gardina Naxos, taurimina and if you go further down road in car or 30 min walk there's a lovely little road of restaurants and hotels we're I had one of the bestest pastas in my life! Once our parents came we hired a car and visited the famous "godfather village" which was really authentic and a must see very traditional otnal and wonderful. We. Also went to castle de more absolutely breathtaking. My overall experience of this place was amazing, I'll never forget it and the accommodation was perfect for what we wanted.

U can juse the pool bed the sun beds cost more than the beach beds ? so you would say it’s a hotel without pool beacause u pay for being there . It’s a on a hill if u have a weelchair it’s hard to go up there no footpaths only for cars . I would not advice famillies to take this hotel .

Great vacation
Reviewed By Q3546FXlgWe were three people traveling, me my sister and her son. We were supposed to stay from 28 of July to 6 of august, but we managed to arrive the 7th. After taking the taxi to the hotel, we arrived at around 23:50. Since we don’t speak Italian, it was little bit difficult to communicate to the owners that we would arrive later, so therefore nobody was there to welcome us. They have a locked gate, and we rang it a couple of times. At last a guest opened for us and rang the owner to come. He gave us our room, and everything was fixed thankfully. This I only blame us selves for, because we were the ones who arrived later than they expected so they were not prepared. The next days were absolutely great, friendly staff, good rooms, great breakfast and we don’t have any complains. It was also possible to borrow an umbrella for the beach because it gets quite hot. The hotel was in an good place surrounded by all types of restaurants, a supermarket in a walking distance and the most important part the beach which was like 5 minutes on foot. We were also allowed to stay longer in the room because our plane was in the evening. I would definitely recommend For everybody this hotel. Thank you to the owners for our great stay. :-)

Nice spacious Room
Reviewed By Loretta_ChristoWe stayed with 2 adults and 2 teenage children and had plenty of space. All the amenities you need. Check in was a bit inconvenient, you had to check in at Residence Giardini (which was down the road) then drive up to Villa Collina, unload luggage then drive back to Residence Giardini to park your car. Hotel was approx.10 min walk to the main street where all the restaurants were. There are no places to eat close to hotel. We went in October and place was very quiet, most places closed for the season

Reviewed By Rietschoten45we had a pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, large, nice beds and clean. It was cleaned every two days...very nice We thougt we would get the appartment with vieuw over the sea, but we got the basement appartment. We missed a relaxing chair or something like that.

Il posto ottimo per spostarsi a due passi c’era la fermata dell’autobus, ristorante pizzeria, bar fruttivendolo e negozio di alimentari. Se ho occasione mi piacerebbe ritornare.

Non volevano accettare pagamento con carta (nonostante fosse chiaramente specificato nella prenotazione che si poteva pagare con carta) ma solo in contanti. Il bagno privo di finestre e di ventola. Note positive: la vicinanza al lungomare e la possibilità di usufruire gratuitamente della piscina.

Reviewed By giando81Abbiamo prenotato per 2 notti quest'estate questi due vani, eravamo due nuclei familiari con bambine piccole. Lo abbiamo scelto per la vicinanza al mare e l'uso esclusivo del terrazzo. Arriviamo il venerdì e ci accoglie l'host molto gentile. Arriviamo alla sera e l'host ci fa trovare i due vani aperti (porte spalancate) con il terrazzo al buio, preannunciando che si trattava di un posto spartano e che non aveva potuto fare la manutenzione a causa del periodo covid. noi sistemiamo i bagagli e andiamo a cena. I 2 vani si trovano al centro di un grande terrazzo di un palazzo di 5 pieni. Durante la prima notte scopriamo: mancanza carta igienica e teli (che l'host ci fa avere in secondo momento), prese e punti elettrici scoperti, calcinacci e un asse del tendone rotto disposto verticalmente senza ancoraggi nel terrazzo al buio per problemi elettrici, infissi (porte e finestre) con problemi di apertura/chiusura, 1 condizionatore senza telecomando, bagni senza sapone, caldaia non funzionante e mancato arrivo acqua calda nei servizi sanitari, porta di ingresso non chiudibile e con vetrata spaccata a rischio frantumazione se forzando la chiusura, terrazzo accessibile da scale secondarie condominiali. In breve dormiamo con le porte aperte, proibendo alle bambine di muoversi nel terrazzo al buio e cercando immediatamente una sistemazione alternativa per la seconda notte. La mattina seguente chiamiamo l'host per incontrarlo, far vedere le criticità, consegnare chiavi e lasciare anzitempo l'alloggio. L'host dice di essere impossibilitato a raggiungerci nell'arco della mattinata, ci dice di lasciare le chiavi sul ripiano della cucina, noi ribadiamo che i locali sono accessibili da un ingresso secondario, ma lui insiste nel rispettare le condizioni di check out da lui indicate. Lasciamo le chiavi dove da lui indicato. Ci rimborsa una notte e dopo qualche giorno ci viene richiesto il rimborso delle chiavi e del telecomando del cancello.
