The Residencia El Tarter Alba is located in the rural district of Canillo, in the typical village of El Tarter, at an altitude of 1700 meters, in Andorra. It consists of 19 studios and flats with a contemporary style decoration, some of them with balcony or fireplace. The new facilities guarantee a comfortable stay. The building has a covered car park with direct access (extra charge). You only have to walk 400 m to reach the gondola lift which will take you to the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees: Grandvalira, where you can ski 210 km of slopes, enjoy its 3 snowparks or take a lesson at its freestyle school! Fancy a shopping break? Andorra la Vella or Pas de la Casa are 17 km away. You'll find plenty of shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Your apartment complex is also just a short walk from the town center and shops.
I always stay at Pierre & Vacances when travelling to Spain, France and Andorra as their properties are a a high standard. This one was too, but unfortunately our apartment was on the ground floor, with people passing by so close to our bedroom window that we had to have the curtains drawned all the time. The 2 male receptionist were incredible but unfortunately the 2 female were rude and uninterested in helping. I will give them another chance.

Close your eyes. You're nice and warm in your flat, while the crackling flames lull you to sleep and you watch the snow fall. What a delight! The Andorra El Tarter apartment complex, at an altitude of 1700 m, is in the parish of Canillo, in the typical village of El Tarter, in Andorra. It is made up of small 3-storey buildings and has cosy flats with contemporary decoration. For even greater comfort, we have fitted them out with modern furniture and equipment. And that little bit of added value? Some have a balcony with a view of the snow-capped mountains or a fireplace, so you'll be cosy in winter. To access the slopes of the Grandvalira resort, you can take the cable car, 400 m from the apartment complex. There you will have access to 210 kilometres of slopes, 3 snowparks and a freestyle school, where you can enjoy the sliding activities!

We've been in a two bed apartment, suitable for 6 people (2 on the sofabed). We were a family of 5 and it was really suitable. Less than 5 mins walk to the chair lift where you can hire ski equipment and lockers. Apartments come with an underground parking space. I believe having a car is an advantage as the supermarkets and restaurants would be a long walk without a car. Apartments clean and on site manager here most days for any questions.

We could not have been happier with this hotel booked via Crystal. We stayed in one of the apartments and really appreciated having the facilities to make lunch (breakfast and dinner was taken in the hotel). This is real ski in, ski out with the boot room and ski shop being in the basement of the hotel. You ski straight down to the Gondola or chair lift and can ski the entire way back to the hotel on blue runs. We will certainly be booking again

We went to Andorra with 2 other families who booked 3 apartments and had an apartment each. It is definitely in the less glitzy end of the resort, opposite a supermarket ( where you have to park your car), and next to a very odd shop selling very large fake/stuffed elephants etc The apartment entrance is slightly depressing and feels as if you are entering a lived in block of flats with junk mail spewing out of mail boxes, it did not feel like holiday apartments. Our apartment was initially cold with light bulbs missing and hence a dark/moody atmosphere and felt quite basic. The mattresses and pillows were clearly the cheapest of the cheap and you dreaded going to bed as Bach ache awaited. We were 5 and so 2 slept in bunk beds and my eldest son slept in the lounge/ kitchen/only spare space on a grubby looking sofa bed, which he wasn't keen on for privacy and the fact you couldn't go to bed if others were still up. The towels were old and sparse. 1 shower towel per stay (although there was a washing machine). We only spent time there to sleep and have breakfast, you wouldn't want to lounge around in the apartment. Ok for students on a limited budget but I would not be running back. Didn't tick the boxes for us. It might inspire the kids to work hard at school to ensure that you could stay in a less basic place. Ultimately You get what you pay for.

Its the second time we’re staying with the same letting company in El Tarter. The staff was professionaland responsive. We had a clean and spacious furnished one bedroom. The kitchen had all that one might need. Wifi is decent, but can be slow at times. There is cable tv. The only downside was the bed/mattress which was somewhat too soft and creaks a lot. The heater was also loud, when you use warm water. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and does a great job during a holiday.

Clean and modern apartment with a large balcony overlooking the beautiful Andorra mountains. It was just slightly hard to find and the address and opening hours on Booking.com did not correlate with reality. (Check in closed more than an hour earlier than stated)

We booked the wrong dates in error for these apartments. The mistake was realised almost immediately and the booking was over two months in advance. To be fair, the terms of the booking were 100% non-refundable and non-changeable but given the circumstances that it was a mistake, the advance timing and the fact, that we wanted to re-book for the correct dates it seemed really harsh to charge us the full amount. We informed the hotel that there was no way we could travel on these dates and they were free to re-sell the room. Furthermore we contacted the hotel directly and received no reply. I work in the hospitality business and was disappointed in such poor customer service and a missed opportunity to make a customer happy. Even some flexibility or refund would have been better than no response at all. The only conclusion I can come to is that they are only interested in the money. Be careful when you book to make sure you don't make any mistakes!!!
