Great location
Reviewed By dajiscrewThe pousada is located very well, just a few minutes of walking to the centre of Cumbuco and also to a beach. But as it's not exactly in the town center, it's calm and silent in the night. Breakfast are excellent. Actually, during our entire stay in Brazil this pousada offered the best selection for breakfast. Room was spacious, clean... But I don't know why we got the only one room in the entire hotel that had no terrace/balcony. That's something we were unhappy with. Really unhappy. The pool is large enough, but frankly, we didn't use it, as it seemed that its filtration system was off and the water was a bit brown from my point of view. WiFi worked well in restaurant, while in the room it was weak.

Good place to stay, no luxury!
Reviewed By Patrick SThe Eco Paradise hotel is a good place to stay, but do not expect luxury. The rooms are very simple with a gas stove, refrigerator and a sink. It’s a decent place for travelers who only need a place to stay, as the pool is also not so impressive as on the pictures on various booking websites. The bedrooms have air conditioning and a French style balcony. The bathroom has a shower which is nice, but then again, it’s outdated and not Hilton-like clean. Rooms are cleaned every day and it’s done thoroughly. The beach in front of the complex is beautiful! There are some small bars with the kindest of people to serve you drinks for some $R. A short walk (2 min.) to the town of Cumbuco will get you to some nice restaurants. If you need to go out of town: use Uber. It’s a brilliant, save system and it works everywhere in the Fortaleza area!

Ocean View is a friendly Apartment Hotel consisting of 24 apartments in 4 apartment blocks. The hotel complex is located directly at the beach, perfect for sunbathing or kitesurfing. A short 7 minute's walk and you arrive at the center of Cumbuco. There are supermarkets open until late 7 days per week. There you can find everything you need to prepare your own breakfast, lunch or dinner. Lot's of restaurants and bars for all budgets have been established over the years. Craft stores, cloth shops, bottle shops, vegie markets and 2 pharmacies compliment them around the city square. Buses drive on an half hourly schedule to Caucaia (the Province town) or to Fortaleza (the Capitol of the State of Ceara). Enjoy a short walk to the dunes, sip on a glass of wine and enjoy the great colorful sunsets.
Resting place for retirees
Reviewed By Gunnar HWe are camping here almost every January/March since 2008. It is on the beachside, it is self-catering, it is very well looked after, here we can either walk on the beach or sidewalk for 15 minutes to shops and restaurants. The staff at the Ocean View are ALLWAYS helpful and friendly. There is a big pool right in front of our apartment, one step from a lovely terrasse, we are in the pool. If we want to have a dip in the South Atlantic, we have to walk on white beach for 50 meters. There is a big nice BBQ in a separate house. We have now flights with KLM from Bergen, Norway via Amsterdam and the hole trip takes about 14 hours. The manager of Ocean View , Mr. Gerhard Beulke, has preordered a taxi for a pick up at the airport. So what more can you demand. WE love it and we can recomend Ocean View to all who like to listen to the waves rolling in on the beach and for them, who likkes to enjoy to use one of the worlds best KITING beaches. You got something to look forward to.

Dream Village apartments are located only a short walk along the beach from the center of the village of Cumbuco, and only a 30 minutes from Fortaleza. Reviewed By Karsten8894Was like always an excellent stay in dream village....real high end vacation. With direct access to the beach....to start the kite or to have a walk. Just beside, the is the velas do cumbuco restaurant and beach club....you can have a coconut there or a snack.....they also have offer of massage....good to relax after sports...or just to feel comfortable....in cumbuco there is always some live music in the evening, especially during weekends....also people from Fortaleza come along to have a weekend in Cumbuco.....

Cama muito ruim
Reviewed By kisleugCama muito ruim, estrutura de hotel ótima, local ótimo, apartamento bem equilibrado e equipado. Colchão muito básico e roupa de cama e banho muito simples. Praia com mar forte e Muito vento, mas muito bonita. Final da tarde em dezembro mar mais fraco e água quente mas ainda com muitas ondas fortes, bom mesmo só p esportes.

Reviewed By kurt7550Waren er op verlof de maand oktober,alhoewel we midden in de nacht aankwamen werden we heel vriendelijk en met de nodige attentie en uitleg ontvangen . Kortom we voelden ons direct welkom. Het is een prachtig appartement met heel vriendelijk personeel. De manager sprak ons aan en gaf direct aan waar we hem konden bereiken moesten we iets nodig hebben . We komen bijna ieder jaar naar Cumbuco en kan alleen maar spijt hebben dat we deze locatie nu pas hebben ontdekt. Het is de beste wat we al hebben geboekt in Cumbuco. Proper, rustig , vriendelijk zijn de basiswoorden hier. Hier komen we zeker terug , voor de twijfelaars,gewoon boeken beter vind je niet in de streek. Dikke 10
