First time to Menorca
Reviewed By RonfromthesunWas our first time to these apartments. We asked for ground floor near children’s pool which we got. Lovely big apart with everything you need. There were only a few people there cos of Covid but everywhere was safe and very clean. Cleaners came every two days and changed towels and cleaned. Pool man/gardener was there everyday hosing grounds and cleaning the pools. Receptionist very helpful. Large supermarket opposite.

Reviewed By Kevbishop1964Stayed here at the end of september 2019. Found the accommodation to be dirty inside and out. The pool water was green with algae and the patchy grass had not been cut for some time. The sunbeds were full of bird droppings. To be honest it was not relaxing at all around the pool. This place needs an overhaul as is very run down. Our room was not cleaned for the entire week and the towels were filthy and stained. We had to clean the apartment ourselves and take our own rubbish bags out of the complex and put them in the bins around the corner. Even though this was a cheap week away I would never stay in these apartments again, even for free. There are some good bars and restaurants in the local area with Jimmy Hills square the main entertainment hub. There are plenty of better hotels in the local area.

Small complex of 36 apartments located about 200 meters from the beach and with direct access stairway to the beach of Cala en Forcat, Costa den Blanes, 5 km from the port and 3.5 km from the old town of Ciutadella, a city most beautiful in the Mediterranean and the most beautiful of the island. The apartments have been renovated in 2016 and is focused only adults over 16 years old, seeking peace, relaxation, but also entertainment and fun. An ideal base to stay close and visit the beautiful beaches and towns that have Menorca, besides the gastronomic variety of the island supplies. They are comfortable, very clean and with a family atmosphere apartments allow us to take care of him as if they were at home. All our apartments come with a bathroom, 4 beds, TV, kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and a small kit of utensils so you can cook if you wish. The apartments have 2 swimming pools with Balinese beds, loungers and hammocks best quality and Chill-out style, a bar, a reception where we will help you with your needs. We have free access in communal areas and payment throughout.
Self catering freedom and peaceful pool
Reviewed By Andrew HGreat self catering apartment with all you need (although no air conditioning). The pool was empty most days (perfect) as most guest chose to go to the other pools up by the linked hotel. The town has a few bars and restaurants - just about enough choice.

Relaxing and clean
Reviewed By Graeme FWe had a really good apartment with a large back area to chill out in. Our apartment had everything we wanted - dishwasher, cooker with oven, washing machine good fridge freezer and a flat screen TV. The wifi was good enough to take a fire stick to get all you needed. It was cleaned every 2 to 3 days with clean towels. Bed linen done 3 times during our visit. Shops two minutes across road, as were several bars and restaurants. Beach, although appeared small, was 10 minutes walk away and perfectly.adequate with bars and places to eat. Lidl 15 minute drive away In Cuitadella. There are some fabulous places to visit all round the Island - which isn't that large - including beaches aplenty. Sunday flea market in Mahon is a must - proper car boot sale!! If you haven't got a car there are buses into Cuitadella and other local places. Seriously thinking about going back here next year.

Hidden under clothes in a drawer so someone with access has rifled through my things and stolen it. Hotel staff didn’t seem surprised at all which was even more worrying and no apology or empathy at all. Electrics need a bit of attention and rooms a bit tired. Air conditioning very noisy and felt like it was going to blow up so opened a window instead. Many Facilities ( which are lovely ) not in use which was a shame. Weather however was incredible! ?

The complex consists of 51 light and airy apartments. There are 3 groups on 2 levels, 400 mtrs from the beach. They consist of a double bedroom with a safe, a complete bathroom, living/dinning room and kitchenette. They are equipped with all utensils, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and a 4 burner hob. Sea or/and country views from the balconies. Services: Outdoor pool with children area and sun terraces complete with loungers and parasols. There is an adjacent snack bar with internet facilities, billiards, ping pong and board games. The sun sets from the terrace are spectacular. There is a small children's play area. Upon arrival the helpful reception staff will provide you all the information on Cala Morell and the island in general. Cots, cars, bicycles, fans, heaters and safes can be hired. Taxis, fax mail, and currency services are also available

Reviewed By judge dMy wife and I were delighted when we found that our daughters had booked us a weeks holiday in the Apartamentos sa cala - and even more delighted when we arrived and were immediately taken with the place . The comfortable, clean and basic accommodation is adequate and we were pleased with it . Ants can very quickly take over the food preparation areas in these apartments and the owners information leaflets are precise in how to avoid this problem .... so long as you clean and clear away after cooking or eating there should be no real problem (it is worth noting that because of the terrain here that ants are inevitable The apartments are located very close to the historic Cala Morell Necropolis - a fascinating series of cave burial sites and worth a visit . Bus stop at the front of the complex opens up the way for public transport throughout the island but I would recommend car hire if you are considering doing a lot of cooking in the apartment as there is no shop anywhere near the complex . We had a great stay at Apartamentos Sa Cala and most likely will return .

Reviewed By fishstormJust a wonderful peaceful place. Great little bungalows, large fridge/freezer, ceiling fan in bedroom, lots of hot water with good pressure. Ample size pool, large sunbathing area and comfortable sun beds. No bar or music which suited us just fine. More suited to matures or couples with young families. A ten minute stroll to the harbour which has a large choice of restaurants. 3 supermarkets within 2 minutes of the bungalows. Recommended!

A little oasis
Reviewed By Amy WThis complex is small, beautifully maintained and only a few minutes walk from a bus stop, supermarket and beautiful beach.The staff are friendly and helpful. There is no bar, shop or entertainment (plenty of that to be found on the strip) and is like a little oasis in the middle of Cala'n Blanes. It is located about a 5 minute walk from the main strip in a quiet neighbourhood with other villas/houses. You can walk to Ciutadella along the coast path - about 45 minutes - or get a bus. We would definitely return to these apartments - a real find.
