We found this hotel as we arrived to Çeşme without a prior booking. Just walked in to the reception and asked for the price of a double room for one night. At once, we were pleasantly surprised by of the affordability of the accommodation, and how truly kind is the man on the reception. We found out later that he (Cemal) is the owner of the place together with his lovely French wife Myriam. We ended up of staying twelve nights total. The hospitality, price, and cleanliness of the premises made our stay in Çeşme very enjoyable!

Cesme boutique hotel located in the center of entertainment venues were friendly and helpful.
Hotel was great! Situated right on the water and only 5 minute boat ride to main town of Bodrum. Mind you the taxi boat picks you up right from the hotel pier. . Room was clean and huge. Bed was even bigger! Best sleep I've ever had! Staff was friendly and helpful! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all amazing!! Spent afew hours by the pool with ocean views! Definitely a great getaway and will visit again for sure!

We are in centrum of Cesme,Free wi-fi ,free parking ,swiming pool...
POSITIVES: The position of the hotel is very good for those who have a car. Not recommended for people travelling by means of transportation, as the hotel is situated more than 1 km far from city center and beaches are not accessible on foot. There are plenty parking places on the road in front of the hotel. The room and the bed were very confortable and the sheets were clean. We stayed at back rooms so there was no noice at all. Generally, the hotel is good for those who want only basics (tv, refrigerator, hot water, a/c) and low prices. NEGATIVES: The bathroom was not quite clean, we had to clean it before use. Everything inside is old: but a renovation means higher prices ;)

Fantastic that the bus from Izmir goes straight past the accommodation so the helpful bus attendant stopped and unloaded us right out the front. Check-in Check-in was pleasant, Oscar was very helpful, spoke very good English which was great as our Turkish is very limited. We were offered a pool level room, not facing full harbour view, which in the end was a good option as we didn't have full sun hitting the patio and windows all afternoon. The room Room (1103) is a good size but smelt terribly of smoke, we had to go out and grab some air freshener on our walking trip into town. It seems everyone in Turkey smokes....The bathroom was clean, shower door is not operating well and the toilet seat is loose, shower drain was not fixed in place and drains did smell a bit in the bathroom, just needs some care and maintenance. There is nowhere to hang your towels in the bathroom? The kitchen area had a large fridge, microwave, dishwasher but only 2 glasses, 2 plates, 2 sets of knives and forks, 2 cups and saucers. No bottle opener, no cooking utensils, no dish cloth, every cupboard is bare. Not what we expected from a suite. I am sure the apartments are all fitted out differently but 1103 has smoke butt burns and some stains on the furniture and is very basic. The bed was very comfortable, linen clean and fresh and the air con works well in the sitting area but the bedroom fan is a clunky thing that I would be surprised if anyone could sleep with it on. Facilities The swimming pool is excellent. There are no pool towels provided. There is a small drinks and snack service but it is not well promoted. The empty spa and sauna may only be used in winter? Music pumps out during the day around the pool. Room Wi-Fi connectivity is very poor if existing at all. This really should be a basic service provided to today's traveller. Breakfast was typical Turkish with a resonable array of cheese, tomato, meat and cucumber, melons, breads, tea and coffee. They also had a small cereal choice. Location Cesme town access is very good, down hill walk for 5 minutes to a great plaza for shopping and eating out. Walk back uphill or a small taxi fare or local bus. Cesme marina is wonderful with a huge selection of quality shops and dining options.

I don't know about the whole of the Ilica beach area but at the western end where this accommodation is located is very run down once you're off the main drag running parallel to the beach but the building itself was quite smart looking. There were what looked like a few private villas adjacent that were looked after. Unfortunately, the interior didn't live up to the exterior. To be brief; Hairdryer in the bedroom caught light, it was resting on the bed (not blowing) while I brushed my hair and fortunately I noticed before the bed went up in flames. The bedsheet had several holes in it and along with the smelly and lumpy pillows needed replacing, as did some of the stained towels. The apartment was very dim owing to the fact that half the bulbs were missing or on their way out. The shade on the single bedside lamp was broken through on all four sides and needed instant relegation to the dustbin. The indoor table wouldn't balance properly because one leg was significantly shorter than the rest. The bath was stained and marked and I would not have liked to use it. Fortunately, I prefer showers, but I still had to stand in it. There was no toilet roll at all, usually there is at least one roll ready for when guests arrive at other similar types of accommodation. The doors to the balcony would not shut unless locked. We eventually found the key secreted in the dresser drawer in the bedroom. Until then we were having to draw the wooden shutters across which was a bit of a palaver and didn't look very secure in any case. One wall of the bedroom had obscure glass "bricks" forming a window of types. There was no curtaining or anything else to block out the early morning daylight. Overall, the furniture is very tired and needs replacement. Some of the chairs around the pool were unusable. Some of the tiny tiles from the inside of the pool had fallen away and were heaped up on the side...presumably awaiting re-application. They couldn't all have fallen off at once so they must have been gathering over quite a period of time. There is quite obviously no urgency or importance placed on maintenance. There was also a bit of green algae on the side of the pool above the waterline. On the plus side; The apartment is very spacious The balcony was large overlooking the pool and adjacent villas (room 205, as I recall). The shower worked better than it looked. The bed was comfortable. We subsequently moved on to another self-catering apartment in cesme proper (where they have the castle i mean) which is a much smarter area. Considering the accommodation there is much better with a bigger swimming pool but costing the same, I don't think the Yalcinkaya Tas Apart represents good value for money.

This is the best place I’ve ever stayed, and I’ve stayed in many wonderful hotels all over the world. You are right on the sea with stunning views of mountains as well and a two-minute walk to a marina with restaurants with delicious food where they speak English. The owner of the hotel is the kindest man who always helps you when you need something. He goes out of his way to make you feel at home. Everything in the room is very high quality — kitchen and bathroom are beautiful and spotless — and extremely comfortable. The internet is the fastest I’ve experienced in Turkey except at university. It’s a peaceful, quiet area with everything you need.
