Reviewed By MjasbozCan’t say enough about Casa D’Aria, a hidden gem in the heart of the centro storico. Each room is tastefully decorated by D’Aria, a delightful lady, charming and welcoming. Rooms are spacious with nice touches, bed linens, balconies & more. Laszlo at the front desk is a wonderful host and gives such attention to detail. His recommendations for places to visit and wonderful restaurants really made our visit more special. Thank you all for such a memorable and enjoyable stay.

The Residence has seven appartaments, to host from 2 to 5 people. In collaboration with an Italian architect, that took care of renovation project and interior design style, we made apartments exactly as you desire: clean, modern, functional and comfortable. You will not find old furniture or chipped, mismatched crockery . Rooms are brand new and cozy! Inside all apartments you will find sofa beds to accommodate up to two people. On arrival it will be possible to book : -excursions in 51 feet sailboat to the stacks of Acitrezza - trips to Siracusa, Noto, Piazza Armerina, Taormina - learn the Sicilian cuisine with Cooking classes - city tour including visiting legendary Catania fish market. Only in 10 minutes by foot you will reach via Etnea, the heart of Catania, where you can enjoy beautiful Baroque, Roman and Greek masterpieces. Next to residence you will find bus stops where you can take main buses that will take you anywhere in the city. On the place you will meet a person who will give you the keys. For any information concerning apartments or excursions ask our staff In every apartment there is a sofa bed that can comfortably accommodate up to two child or one adult.

Reviewed By Richard JAfter the first night we asked to move apartment because of the noise from the road, the hospital is just down the road so ambulances were going in all night. The guy on site was really helpful and without hesitation moved us to a quieter apartment. The apartments were ok, just needed a bit of TLC. Although they were supposed to be no smoking the second apartment smelt of smoke but opening the patio doors and windows eventually took the smell away. The wifi is a bit temperamental but again talking to the guy on site, he was always very keen to get everything sorted to make sure we were happy. The location is perfect to get around and with a bit of love and updating they could be great apartments.

Spacious and comfy apartment with kitchen
Reviewed By krys_krosHotel is located right in the street market (open from Monday to Saturday till 1pm), the area doesn’t seem nice, but once you get into your room your perspective changes. Remember to plan check-in in advance. Spacious and comfy apartment, kitchen with all the basic appliances for cooking, a room with a double bed, in the living room is a uncomfortable sofa bed, tv and kitchen. A lot of mosquitos in the apartment, they only clean and change everything once per week, unless you want to pay extra. They have a room with pool and soccer table and a small gym at the second floor. Also have washing and dryer machine available for free, you only need to buy your soap. There’s a supermarket parallel to the apartment and another one crossing the street. Walking distance to the center. Bus and Metro station next to the apartment. Carlo gave all us the map with all the handy tips and directions. Recommendations for the owner: buy new towels and sofa, it’s ok for watching tv but not for sleeping. And need to do something with the wifi, it disconnects every 5 min.

Reviewed By Lorci48We didn't have the electricity and the water the first night. We didn't use the bathroom. They didn't change our towels in three days. The room was dirty. They let us pay for the morning coffee, even if we have breakfast included in the price. And we didn't get any replacement for that.

Reviewed By finlayb2017Really seamless experience with property. Good communication before visit. History met us at the property and explained everything. Very friendly and welcoming. Area is in the market district so noise was expected. Honestly worth it when you get up and leave the apartment and step out the door directly into the market. Very authentic experience. Breakfast vouchers for local cafe were much appreciated. Bar puccini. Proper Italian breakfast experience. Highly recommend. Very clean and comfortable. (Stayed here for one night whilst visiting Malta. This apartment was more modern and comfortable than our 4 star resort)
