Vlad the Impaler stated his claim to Bucharest in 1459. His citadel on the Dambovita was the first of flotillas of palaces, many of which still stand. Four subway lines and a modern bus network transport visitors and commuters. Nicknamed "Little Paris", Bucharest's elegant early 20th-century architecture shows French influences. Don't miss the Village Museum, Romanian Athenaeum and the Peasant Museum. You can't miss the Palace of Parliament, the second-largest building in the world (after the Pentagon).

We are located right in the heart of Bucharest in Piata Romana. You have public transportation (bus, taxi, metro ) at just 1 minute walking distance, Supermarket and minimarket 24/7 in the back of the building. Great restaurants and places to visit around us.
I tried 2 apartment, both of them nice, clean and with no problem about exterior noises. In the kitchen there was everything necessary as well. The boy responsible for the apartments (Adam) was super nice and available for any kind of issue

Visited this hotel in December 2019 (just before covid). Stayed for a month on a business trip. Probably only hotel with kitchen that we could find in Bucharest. My room had a kitchenette, utensils, a washing machine. A very big room for one person. Apartments are behind Phoenicia Grand Hotel, entry is from Phoenicia Grand Hotel only. Marketplace/grocery is at a walking distance. Far from old town. Airport is not far, few mins drive to banesa mall. Breakfast place is in Phoenicia Grand Hotel (common for both), spread was good. Only missing thing was a pool. Overall nice place to stay but far from happening life of old city.

He schemes you picking you up at the announced adress and bringing you to another place, a really bad one. He says that the other adress is the office (building mostly under construction). Should have read some comments on google earlier. At first they give you the wrong adress on booking, maybe for legal purposes. You have to walk a bit until you get to a place that is already a different guesthouse (that we stayed in before and was actually pretty good). The pictures are really different than the reality. Reading the previous comments it's certainly now a different place, I took pictures of it. It was an underground floor, what was never mentioned before. The room was not really clean, we found a bug at the toilet, spider webs at the corners, plastic and a beer can behind the minibar. The room has no windows, the smell of fresh paint was really strong and the air conditioning works poorly, it's water floods the floor in no more than 3 hours. We tried to talk to the owner and he told us to clean it ourselves. Afterwards we realized that there was no blanket over there as well, so again I went upstairs and asked for one, he told me that he would give me one in 10 minutes. After one hour my girlfriend went to him and asked for it again, he yelled at her, said that we could not have blankets on summer and that he can't do anything about the flood in our room. Besides that we realized that he had several spare rooms that he could allocate us and solve the problem, those rooms were also open, clearly because of the strong paint smell. They have no idea of how to treat a client and they are clearly not prepared to deal with tourists. They also take their wifi from another guest house, they do not have their own. We booked mainly because of the kitchen. They don't even offer things to dry your cups or plates, nor towels to dry it and make it tidier. It was an extremely bad deal. We stayed before at the other guesthouse, the one at the top, it was cheaper and way better, also their staff was 1000 times better prepared. It was sad because we spent one week in Romania and it was amazing until then.

The house is perfect: clean, big and full equipped. The position is great since it is close both to old town and the metro. Eduard is a really nice host, available and kind. We had a great time. I think I’ll come back one day.

Ave Hotel Victoriei is located just half a kilometer away from Victoriei Square and Bucharest's main train station Gara de Nord. The apartments are tastefully furnished and they all feature a very well equipped kitchen. The large apartments have bathrooms with jacuzzi and hairdryers, and they are equipped with LCD TVs and DVD players.
Stayed here on our return from week around Romania. Chose as it was close to train station for connecting train next day. About 10 mins walk to train station. Apartment very spacious with separate living area and kitchen are which was more than we needed. Very nicely decorated and a spa bath which was a bonus. Entry to the property is via a small front gate and pathway. We were very surprised, place looks small from outside but rooms are huge. Great for a few days stay. Service was very good as well, no problems on check in. Could pay by card. Very happy with our stay.

What can I say? I loved my stay here. It's a nice quaint accomodation in a quiet area and at a walking distance from the city centre. But what I liked most is the friendliness of the owner and staff. Had great chats, plenty of tea/coffee made for me without request and they made me feel like a friend or even family. Would 100% come back here!
