I was disappointed when I was informed that parking had to be pre-booked and there was none available. The alternative was about 800m away in a dark and unsavoury place with scary stuff and strong smell of urine

I have travelled Australia and the world whilst working for 50 years, I am now retired and with a daughter in Tuggerong. We booked into the Abode apartments in Tuggerong 150 Anketell St Greenway. As my wife is disabled we asked for on booking and were assured of a ground floor and a wheel chair friendly room. We were subsequently issued a room on the fourth floor and I could not get my wife's wheelchair into to tiny bedroom. I was told we would not be moved so I had to manually manoeuvre her bed for access. The toilet seat is not affixed and after calling a maintainer several times I have given up and my wife I are now forced to sit on the porcelain toilet bowl. The TV has Google Cast, or so its advertised and its as easy as 1, 2 3 to connect. Four maintainers/staff members have tried to connect and have now just given up. So no Chrome Cast but I do have free to air but no access to the programs my wife and I like to watch. We have now been her 48 hours and our room has not been cleaned. Everywhere else I have ever stayed, unless I have indicated Do Not Disturb, the bed has been mad or changed regularly, the towels changed and the bathroom and toilet cleaned. Tea and coffee and also topped up. Well the bin was actually emptied, but rubbish that had fallen out was still left on the floor.

Was very grateful I was allowed to check in early, the front office staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious, had everything I needed and was very quiet overnight so I had a great nights sleep. The bathroom was nice with a spacious powerful shower. The streets around are dark at night but having the Kingston oval as a reference was handy (car park opposite). I would happily return here and hopefully stay longer than the two nights I was there.

Ideally set in a quiet leafy street our accommodation in the 1 bedroom Shanghai apartment was perfect. Plenty of room with comfortable, up-to-date appliances and comforts, right down to my favourite shampoo, gave us that home away from home feel. With easy proximity to Canberra's icons, our visit to our Capital over the Anzac Day long weekend was problem free. Barbara was very approachable and most accommodating. We would not hesitate in recommending 'One of a Kind Apartments'.

We found the location, within 5 minutes of a large shopping centre, was convenient. The apartment was light, airy and clean. The bed was comfortable. There was some noise at night with McDonalds behind and a couple of restaurants nearby but it wouldn't stop me returning. The receptionist who greeted us on arrival was particularly warm and welcoming.

Abode’s newest hotel, Abode Narrabundah offers quality accommodation close to the city but still far enough away when you want to escape the hustle and bustle. Narrabundah is a beautiful garden suburb in Canberra’s inner south with an abundance of parks and open spaces that showcase Canberra’s natural beauty. Abode Narrabundah is only 15 minutes from Canberra’s city centre, 10 minutes from Canberra International Airport and minutes from The National Gallery of Australia, The National Portrait Gallery, Questacon, The National Library and Parliament house.
The title says it all. The Abode is the one hotel I always look forward to parking my truck up at I am always welcomed with a smile and positive attitude (ten points to the new girl at the front desk). From the moment you walk through your bedroom door it just feels like home. nice and clean well presented with the heater set to turn on as soon as you walk through the door AMAZING DURING WINTER. Now how do I even describe the bed besides using the word HEAVENLY so comfortable and warm. Finding out that I can have my fur child meet me here while I have been away from home for months is the best highlight ever. the fact that I can easily park my truck in the parking lot is such a relief and knowing that the amazing security guard Yanik from Blackhawk security is there to keep a close eye on everything is very reassuring. For all travellers I could not think of anywhere better to stay than at the Abode while in Canberra.

Enjoy resort-style living in our executive appointed 1 & 2 bedroom apartments. Manuka Park Serviced Apartments is close to Canberra's major attractions, boutique shopping, restaurant villages, nightlife and business precincts. Even the Prime Minister hosts cricket across the road at the Manuka Oval on occasions.
the premises are adequate and basic however our six nights' stay was marred seriously by (i) the extremely uncomfortable lounge suite (there is just a two-seater and no armchairs) -- this item needs to be dumped forthwith; (ii) another dilemma was the door to the patio which had a faulty lock (it probably had been forced at some juncture) so to secure the premises and our property, we purchased a dowel rod and a saw to cut same from Bunnings and fitted the rod into the door track to prevent unwanted entry; this is quite unacceptable since we asked on our first morning to have the door fixed and six days later it had not been touched and finally (iii) the clothes dryer takes forever (more maintenance or replacement required) - please shop around, you can achieve much better value for your dollars (the old Medina Apartments - now Adina - next door for instance)

After returning from a long 4 year stint overseas and quarantined of 14 days, we hoped to settle in here for a nice reintroduction to Canberra. If it hadn't been for the fact we needed to settle for a while and needed the space, we would have walked out immediately. On arrival, the place was FILTHY. The brown carpet was a combination of dirt, spilled food and a decade of wear. Roaches...yep, the ground floor location of our unit ensured a never ending parade of roaches in all rooms. The battered furniture is accented by op-shop cast offs. After requests, both beds were replaced due to sagging (one was propped up on a tin can), a cursory cleaning of the carpet made things a little better. The original dishes were a gaggle of chipped and mismatched crockery with odd glasses---all were replaced along with the filthy table place mats. After a request, the curtains were washed and replaced, but the cords never worked. All up, if you're desperate and exhausted, its OK, but if you want cleanliness---this isn't the place.
