Thermae Boetfort is a historical wellness centre in a 400-year-old castle estate. Come and enjoy yourself for a few hours or several days and combine our public saunas (nude and bathing suit section) or one of our private saunas with a delightful treatment or a beneficial massage. Stay overnight in our authentic wellness hotel and go home totally relaxed.
Nice room overlooking the premises. Bed was comfortable. Very clean. The local staff was very friendly. The restaurant served good dinner and breakfast at a reasonable price making it a good place to stay in the proximity of the airport.

Where to start? Probably with the fact that we could not get a room for 2 nights in Bastogne itself. Which turned out to be the best thing that happened to us! It's about a 15 minute drive away from town, it's incredibly quiet in a very rural area. It's a very nice, large house - not sure I"d call it a chateau, but then what do I know. Our room was fairly plain, but clean and very large with windows overlooking the land across the road where we could see deer. The family that owns it was very friendly and made us feel right at home - as did the chef. Speaking of which, breakfasts were delicious, but the best meal of our 4-week trip was dinner right here. My only wish was that I wish I'd had room to eat more, because everything was so good. We started with appetizers in the sitting room, placed our order, then moved into the lovely dining room for the main course. My advice: DO NOT MISS EATING HERE!!

We stayed in the Moulin ('Mill') above the swimming pool, three adults and three children including a 3yo. Overall we were very happy with the accommodation, service from Bruno the owner and the location. Our package included cleaning. The people complaining and leaving bad reviews seem not to have understood their obligation in this regard. A €150 bond is payable on check-in, and it gets refunded to your bank account (less any breakages etc) a week after departure. Fair enough. You should be aware of the need to bring *all* kitchen consumables - tea-towels, dishwasher powder, dishwashing liquid, dishcloths/dishwashing brush etc. Also toilet paper, washing liquid, and sheets/towels. Pillows are provided but personally I'd bring your own if you like a good amount of head support. The washing machine is good but the drier is a condensing type and takes ages to dry anything, it's also quite noisy, as these ones tend to be. Maybe consider bringing a drying rack - or maybe Bruno the owner can buy one? The free WiFi is centered on the stairwell under the Moulin, so expect other guests to be there sitting at the desk, using the internet. The wiFi coverage extends upstairs in the Moulin to the end of the hallway and into one of the bedrooms, but not really into the main living area. Mobile coverage is present but on the verge of non-existent. The swimming pool is very nice, salt water and not too hot. There's a good sauna as well that looks over the pool. You can only enter the pool area itself by passing under an automatic shower, so if you aren't swimming and are there just to supervise kids be prepared to get wet ;-) The Moulin has two fridges, two cookers and crockery/cutlery/searing for about 30 - it seems to be set up as a possible base for people who book the entire complex. Note that the stairs up to the mezzanine have no gate and are very steep, if you have small children maybe consider bringing a stair gate. There is a coffee percolator that uses large paper filters (BYO) but there is *no* cafetiere or percolator or stovetop espresso maker. Coffee lovers be warned: BYO. The nearest shops are 10 minutes drive away in Bastogne, which is a really nice large town with every possible holiday amenity including supermarkets, clothes shops, cafes, bars, petrol stations, liquor wholesales and lots more. In the area is amazing cycling - very smooth, quiet roads through rolling valleys. Highly recommended. There are many, many family-friendly things to do within an hour's drive. We will definitely return to the Moulin and the area, as we were very happy with the accommodation / service, and in a week we only just started exploring.

We organised a 2 day seminar at Chateau Cortils and we were all (16 persons) very happy. The big room for our workshops was splendid with a nice view on the fields. I appreciated this a lot as too many times you feel shut in for the full day. Thanks to this full opening to the outside we didn't have this feeling. The kitchen and dining room are also very agreeable and well equipped. So for a seminar, this is an excellent location!

Château de Harzé (Aywaille) - Located in the "Ardenne," this castle (17th century) is settled down in a marvelous area surrounded by nature. Families, couples as staff members will find there a peaceful break with a lot of activities : walking, e-bike, bakery museum, mountain bike, kayak, visit of the castle of Logne, Monde Sauvage (zoo), caves of Remouchamps, near Aywaille, Spa-Francorchamps and Durbuy. The warmness and the simplicity of the welcome will charm you. Free parking place available.
Friendly personnal. Beautifull room and landscape. Had a dream week-end in a castle ! A real cofee machine in the room and a small fridge. Tv but little to no chanel. A car is however needed in my opinion in order to visit the other interesting places around.

I booked this hotel for one night as a stopover on the way to Germany from France. The Chateau was beautiful and the owners very friendly. As a solo traveler you can often feel somewhat uncomfortable, particularly eating in the restaurant, but the owner made me feel very welcome and had time for some interesting conversation. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean and wonderfully furnished in the style of the period. The balcony offers a calm space with little sound except the nearby river and was very peaceful. I would certainly return again, but this time with my husband as it is has a very romantic feel.
