We stayed 5 nights at one of their suites (challet). It was a great experience all the way. Lovely facility, car park beside ur suite, airconditioned, bike rentals, breakfast basket delivered in the morning, friendly staff, near to the center, a place to recommend!!

Just back from an 8 night stay on the campsite and had the best time and would highly recommend this campsite. We had a luxury plus pitch for our own tent. This was a bit more expenses but well worth it. We were right next to the lake so could use our paddle board as often as we liked. Ground was flat and pitch well maintained. Toilet blocks nearby and spotlessly clean. Showers were on a 7 minute timer which was plenty of time and meant you never had to wait. We hired bikes for the week which were great for cycling around the campsite which is big and it’s also a 15min easy cycle in each direction to a supermarket. Campsite shop was well stocked for essentials. Point to note supermarkets and many shops in Holland don’t take master card or visa, although reception did. Staff were all polite and helpful and spoke brilliant English and didn’t mock my attempts to speak Dutch! Indoor poor and splash area could get busy but pick your times and you’ll have lots of fun. Also on site was a petting farm with lamas, sheep, goats and pigs. We took carrots and had much hilarity feeding them. The playgrounds were good fun and there was so many of them. You could have spent a day going round them all. We didn’t use the kids club because our children are too old, but it looked popular and well organised. Nearby we visited Hulst and walked around the old stone walls. It’s an attractive medieval town. We also visited a local beach and a couple of local pop up beach bars which were great. The other huge bonus is that the site is only to hours from Dunkirk so really easy to get to. So don’t delay just book you u won’t regret it!

This is a nice campsite, 2 adults & 2 teenagers camping for 6 nights. The site is very clean, facilities cleaned regularly. The outdoor swimming pool is a good size, although a bit cold even in hot weather (we were very lucky with the weather, about 25 degrees all week). The indoor swimming pool is quite small, we didn't use that one. The bar is nice and also the snack bar is pretty good for pizzas. Whilst I appreciate the efforts the entertainment team go to (I have used them when my son was little), they are far too noisy each morning around the campsite. They walk down each row with music blaring trying to attract the children - unfortunately waking up those that aren't using their services. I'm not sure what you would do about checking out earlier than 8am to catch a ferry and getting your deposit back for the entry key and shower key. This is a great area for travelling about, Middleburg is a nice place to visit. We also did a day trip to Amsterdam, ended up driving there as the train fares seemed to be extortionate! All in all we had a good trip and the teenagers managed to amuse themselves. They were most grateful for the excellent wifi on site.

It is a nice place with a nice location with a place for swiming, biking, canoeing etc. around. I think toilets and bathrooms could be cleaner. Staff now and then was friendly, but sometimes also not service oriented.

Komen zeker terug !

We booked a chalet/cabin on this camping just the night before arrival for approximately €100 for the night. This price was quite high for a camping place, but to be honest.. the cabin is very clean, well equiped and in excellent condition (brand new like). The camping itself is located in a quiet and remote part of Middelburg, but only 10 minutes away from the city center. Therefor you won't have problems with noise or busy traffic. The camping is also quiet on itself and quite "empty" due to distribution of campersites and cabins. Staff is utmost friendly, helpful and welcoming. In short, we were very satisfied for this camping, but a price of around €80-€85 per night for the cabins would be more justified / a better value.
