Misty Grove Resort is the latest edition to this ever growing hospitality group. Misty Grove Resort in Nadugani, Gudalur is set amidst the serene environment embracing the elegance and unbelievable beauty of the Nilgris. The stay in Misty Grove will revive and rejuvenate any one from the weariness of the hustle and bustle of city life. The tranquility which is in the air of Misty Grove will bring you back to us anytime you opt for a visit to Gudalur. The facilities here are so diverse that, you name it and we have it.
Recently, we stayed at Misty Grove Resort for a sum total of 3 days. My mother’s friend recommended this hotel and it was our quick plan to cool down after my board exams. Down hills of Nilgiris, Misty Grove is a small joint with nice ambiance and nice staffs. As an accommodation, Misty Grove comes highly recommended. Having a family-friendly environment designed with independent villas, the ambience comes highly rated by my parents who appreciated the posh accommodation. A small game room, a park with swing, a fish pond and bonfire, which me and my sister engaged in the “resort”. Though a small resort, I really enjoyed the cleanliness and their hospitality is commendable. Amongst the staff, Mr. Baldwin (Uncle), the PRO who helped us and spared time to personally guide us to various viewpoints and landmarks, is greatly appreciated for his kind and amiable demeanor. Some other notable staff members were Mr. Mathew, who is the GM was always there at the front desk when in need, Mr. John handling the reception with a welcoming smile and Mr. Kurian from the Front Gate, all of whom were very friendly and hospitable. The service staff especially Mr. Sajeev and Mr. Jayakumar accommodated us extremely well at the dine. The food was also appetizing. All in all, our accommodation at Misty Grove was top class and we definitely recommend it.

If you are doing Business and being Money Minded then you can never succeed. Owner is too money minded and wise. After booking and getting payment he didn't even care to check again about the stay or ask for a feedback. Toilets are the worst part here, hot water is a joke as they have installed 15 ltrs electric geyser and it takes ages to heat in the cold weather. Toilets are installed far away and you need to walk. Toilets are just a temporary cabins and toooo small. You will have to wait in a queue like in College Hostels. They have a restaurant however they do not serve anything to your Pods/Teepees. You will have to go down all the way to the restaurant and get it yourself from there. Restaurant cum Office is a small basic place and you don't find anything there. It's not worth the PRICE and it can fit only one person in that Teepee (Wooden Tent) and two small person in that Pod (Hobbit) You cannot keep luggage or stand and dress yourself in both of those. If you are a women then you will regret as you cannot change your clothes. Care takers at the place doesn't care you and they are too money minded like the owner. They ask you money for everything. Everything over there is priced and nothing comes free expect water. We were amused to know that they were charging Rs. 100 per person for camp fire (It's not for the camp fire but for each person to sit near the camp fire) You will have to carry your luggage's on your own to the uphill and clean your place. Breakfast was FREE but it was just Idly, Sambar, Chutney, Poha and Tea/Coffee. Pay More and Stay at Sterling Fern Hill backside of this and Enjoy your holiday. Pro ---- 1. Location is Good and just 5 kms from the Charring Cross 2. Breakfast was Tasty

We visited Glenrock estate during the month of April. We booked through glenrock.in and the rooms were confirmed through email exchanges. Once the advance payment was made we got few calls for the lunch options. I initially tried to book tree house and since it wasn't available I opted for wooden cabins. Later after staying there I felt wooden cabins are best than Tree house. I would say that this our best ever stay. The place is so clean ,feels safe and beautiful. Food, valley view ,Stay everything was top notch. Care takers were very friendly . We will definitely visit again.

Camp style accommodation in tents across the campsite and two dorms available that can accommodate 20 people per dorm room (sleeping bags and dorm bathrooms). Three private rooms with private bathroom available for max three people per room. Price range listed is per person per night.
Stayed in Camp Splendour twice. First time was with wife and sons and our pet beagle, and the second trip was with friends. It is a nice private place abutting the Tirumoorthy dam - great drive from Coimbatore through small roads/hills/trees ...make sure you are not in a hurry and enjoy the drive. Our first trip in Dec was fantastic with lots of water and Kayaking was the highlight of the trip. You get some amazing pics with the backdrop of the Anaimalai hills. Tirumoorty waterfalls is about 2-3 km drive and must experience it. (Can get crowded but should experience the fall - the cool and heavy and sharp fall of water is very therapeutic) Camp Splendour offers both small family accommodations, and two large dormitory (8-12 beds) with adequate number of 5+ bath rooms in each dormitory (all clean/hygienic). Great for a large extended family or close group of friends. Food is good with home-style cooking (typical South Indian breakfast with some North Indian option), veg & non-veg lunch/dinner. Highlight is the evening bon-fire, music and karaoke. Capt Jaishankar and Mrs. Shyamala are great hosts and have a friendly staff.

A great overnight camping option just 75 km from Bangalore. Nestled between 2 minor ridges is a 60 acre farm - Alphonso By The Lake - next to a lake and some woods. A large mango farm, a lake, hills around and the woods offer enough to explore over an active weekend. The drive to this place is very scenic. And it's close enough to actually cycle to, if you're so inclined!
Do you want to leave your gadgets behind and want to spend a perfect evening with your loved one or family, just drive down to this country side. The care takers of this place know Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. They have everything to make your stay a lovely one. Don't miss the "Rasam" during lunch.

Great view Cozy accommodation. This time we stayed in theire cottages, as we came to know that tents are not operated in Kodaikanal. Stay was good. Cottage has a very beutiful mountain view. Rates were also very affordable. Strongly recommend this place to friends group looking for a peacefull place to chill out. ♥️
