Surrounded by beautiful nature, Jelling Camping is located in the old historical viking town, Jelling, with some of Denmark's biggest attractions less than 20 minutes away from the camping area. Jelling Camping has great facilities for the whole family, including swimming pool, restaurant and playgrounds, where the kids can have fun while the grown ups relax and enjoy the cosy surroundings. To those who want the camping experience while still enjoying luxury, we have a selection of cabins, luxury cabins and mobile homes for rent.
This is one of the nicest campings I've ever been to! This camping was the first and last stop on my tour through Denmark/Sweden and I will most definitely come back again. This camping has the most ideal location in the beautiful town of Jelling. The owners are some of the most amazing and friendly people you'll ever meet and gave me some great tips on some sightseeing locations. Are you travelling and looking for some cool things to see? Dont hesitate asking them, they are so nice and have great tips! The camping itself is amazing as well. It really is a family camping with big bathrooms (easy access and easy when handeling kids), which are always clean. The kitchen is equipped with 4 stoves (induction) and 2 ovens which you can use without costs. Outside of the bathrooms/kitchen there is a big playground with adjecent mini golf course. For the fire starters among us, there is a nice fire place which is amazing for campfires and roasting marshmallows. There is a very nice swimming pool as well, which is free to use and has 3 different diving boards and a slide. There even is a small finnish sauna!Fresh bread is baked every morning and the restaurant is also quite nice! The camping is located in Jelling, an amazing village with a rich history. The town of Jelling is about 800 metres from the camping and has a supermarket, museum (free access) and a beautiful little church with 2 huge rune stones. It certainly is worth visiting. An amazing thank you to Peter for the stay on the amazing camping and the kindness with which I was welcomed. I had an amazing time.

Omme Å Camping is centrally situated in the heart of Jutland close to two of Denmark's greatest tourist attractions: Legoland and Givskud Zoo. On top of this, it's approximately a one-hour drive from the coast. Several of Jutland's biggest cities can be reached by car in less than an hour. All our cabins have been renovated in 2015. New 2016: You can now order a breakfast box. There are freshly baked bread, butter, cheese, meat, coffee / tea, juice and jam. Book on arrival. Box wil be delivered to your cabin/carvan/tent. The box costs 149 , - kr. for 4 people. Always free ice cream for children on arrivalday:) Free shower - free WIFI:) Always plenty of free activities for children & adults:)
We rented three small cabins for our visit at Legoland. Excellent place within a close driving distance to Billund. Super friendly owners. Clean facilities in a calm area. The site had a small playing area which our children loved so we didn't have to entertain them in any way.

The camp site for nature lovers with a private sandy beach and a view of the Little Belt from the entire site. Ample opportunities for fishing, surfing, sailing and pony riding. Also jumping castles, indoor activity room with a TV room and game room. Small shop, WIFI, nine luxury cabins with private bathrooms and 20 regular cabins.
After staying on some other campsites in the area and being disappointed, I was sceptical about this one. No reason to be however. It's clean, has a great play ground, very friendly owners and a superb location. Plus there are not so many permanent campers with attitudes and noisy dogs. Maybe as it's a bit more expensive to stay here that has kept the campers whom believe their kids can make noise and basically ruin other people's hollidays away. So in short, great site and no horrible campers in site ?.

We had a small bungalow as on the photo's for the 3 of us. Arrived late after a Legoland visit. The cottage has everything you need except a shower and toilet. the area is well maintained, also the area with showers and toilets was clean We found it quiet expensive, especially that we needed to pay extra for the linen and needed to pay a warranty of 400 krones (more than 50 euros) for the cleaning of the cottage. This warranty was received back after we did it at the end of our stay.

Welcome to MyCamp Trelde Naes. We are one of Denmark's largest caravan park, with a wonderful location, directly next to Vejle Fjord. We are also located in the center of the beautiful Trelde Naes nature area, which can offer an unique experience. We have 47 cabins in different sizes, 3 playgrounds, and an amazing waterpark for the whole family.
As nomads we travel and see lots of different places, and they all have there things. Trelde Næs is a beautiful hidden place just near Fredericia and Vejle. Surrounded by ocean and beautiful nature this place is a quiet place to relax. Despite this we still can’t give it more then 3 out of 5. The people working there is sweet and kind nothing to say about them, but the place need some love. As a family with kids we often se the playgrounds and they really need some love, the bath and toilets are fine, and when you pay for a night the shower is free. They have a pool area that makes up to old playgrounds. The nearest place to buy groceries and stuff is 6,5 km away, but for small needs the place have a little shop. The price here is fair. Some places there was trash laying around, and the beautiful green area was spoiled by plastic and stuff. There is a greet area to make food if you need that, and different places to find shadow spots if you need that Because of animals. The place is located on top of a Klint, and because of heavy rain the stairs down to the beach is gone. No news about when it is rebuilt, so the closest way down to the water is 600 meters. All in all a nice 7 days stay, but the place need love, and more action to keep it clean so the beauty of it all can be enjoyed!

Stayed in a cabin for 4 nights - slept a total of 4 hours max a night. I am 184cm tall and the room is 190cm wide with the smallest bed possible crammed in for 2 people! We ended up sleeping apart to try and make it through the night as we were unable to find another available hotel. Felt like it was straight out of the 1970s. Old, damp and cold. Keep looking!

In the heart of Denmark you can find the perfect spot to spend your family holidays surrounded by nature - with Randboldal Camping***. The campsite is a great place, situated close not only to Legoland but also Lalandia - (the largest water park in Denmark) and the Givskud Zoo Park. If you like history, art, crafts, nature and animals, your family will certainly find something of interest in our area. The campsite is peacefully located in a valley of wild rivers and forests. At Randboldal Camping you can feel completely at home. Our conscientious smiling staff will make sure your holidays are cosy, quiet and lovely pleasurable. Enjoy our camping, cottages or one of our luxury apartments. All are well equipped, so you can relax and savour the remarkable nature which surrounds the campsite. In season, children can try attractions and activities prepared for them on a weekly basis. Ranboldal Camping is built around a lake, with a playground and public facilities in the centre of the campsite, so that they are easily accessible to everyone. While the children are swimming in the lake, or sliding down the 60-meter water slide, adults can rest on the terrace. Your family can also play golf, take a walk in the woods or rent a bike. Start your day with freshly baked bread from our shop and end it with one of our delicious Danish meals in the restaurant, which mainly serves traditional Danish cuisine, cooked just the right way by our chef. For children we have their favourite dishes too: such as hamburgers, pizza, chips, etc. It is worth noting that we also provide our guests with a high-speed wireless Internet network which covers the entire campsite, so bring your laptop alsong as well if you wish. We will also welcome your pet with a smile, so bring it to the campsite and take it to the nearby forest.
We stayed with a tent and were happy with the facilities. It is true they were rather old but for campers really ok and it was clean. The restaurant had a good value for money and was cosy. During a big storm the setting was great because it was located in a valley, very green despite the draught. The minishop was ok. The valley location means, it is in a radiohole, no internet connection and you need to pay if you want to have WIFI.

Stayed in a 5 bed cabin (one of the blue ones) for one night on the way to Hirtshals. Was lovely and clean. Basic facilities in the cabin - double electric ring, coffee maker, crockery and cutlery. Also bowl and washing up liquid to take things to the washing up area. Pillows and quilts provided but sheets and towels are extra. The bunk beds were comfortable. Friendly welcome and reception open at 6.30pm (we had advised in advance we would be late). It is possible to order bread in the evening for breakfast the next day. Shop has a small range of basics. Showers and toilets are very clean and shower room is nice and warm. Water in shower is cold for first person for a long time and then very hot for the next person - too hot to even stand in- be careful with children using it. Also has several family bathrooms. Grounds are well maintained. Caravan pitches looked well spaced out with trees/hedges separating smaller areas. Very peaceful. Children’s play area has two bouncy cushions as well as other activities and also a zip wire. Barbecue area is lovely with lots of seating and large BBQ. Very good value for money.
