Great experience all round;- service, food, location, accommodation. Lots of animals close to the lodge, visible from the pool deck or seating area @ the watering hole. Make sure you have a beanie for the game drives. Can be quite chilly.

Sawubona, welcome to Mdluli Safari Lodge! Mdluli Safari Lodge is the story of one man’s vision for the land, and for the Mdluli people. Today this land is significant for many reasons. We invite you to be part of our story – a tale of the wonder and beauty of the Kruger National Park, the authentic charm of Siswati tradition, and a deep-rooted commitment to conservation. The lodge is located inside the south-western region of the Kruger National Park, a 5 hour drive from Gauteng and accessible via a private road from Numbi Gate – the closest gate from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Mdluli Safari Lodge will ensure a relaxing luxury tented experience where you can connect with nature. Savour meals around the open flames of the boma fire. Spot wildlife from the swimming pool, deck, restaurant, and bar. Enjoy Big Five game drives and walks with experienced guides. Mdluli Safari Lodge is a sustainable tourism initiative, and a proud partnership with the local Mdluli Community, who receive direct and indirect socio-economic benefits. This means it's a story where you feel good, but also leave goodness behind!
Wow! Mdluli lived up to our expectations. It was a quieter time of the year, a bit colder but amazing. There are always ways to improve but we had a 5 star experience. Staff, team, check in, Safari guides were all excellent and communication was great. The food, service, tent accomodations were fantastic! Out tent/room was beautiful and overlooked the bush. You will likely see animals on the road to the lodge. We saw giraffe from our room on our 2nd night. We suggest preparing for the weather, dressing warm as the temps do drop and it gets cold in May. There has been a bit of rain and there has not been a dry season. We still viewed all the Big 5 and even a LOT more than that. If time and weather permit, do the late or all day safari. It was great at night! We loved our stay and flew over 15hrs to get there from the U.S. It was one of our best vacations!

Relax and enjoy true hospitality at our refuge in Limpopo. On the southern banks of the Letaba River, only 68 km east of Tzaneen in the province of Limpopo, lies ATKV Eiland Spa in the heart of the Hans Merensky nature reserve. Eiland Spa, with its year-round warm, sunny weather and diverse natural beauty, is one of the most popular resorts in South Africa. With its variety of self-catering accommodation, recreational facilities and activities, restaurant and healing hydro-spa, ATKV Eiland Spa is the ideal place for the entire family to come and relax. The serene tranquillity and peaceful silence of the Bushveld surroundings create the ideal atmosphere for positive and imaginative business planning and team building.
This was our first visit to the Eiland and hopefully not the last. It was really a great vacation and a fantastic resort. Would recommend it to anybody who would like to just get away from everything and have a rest.

Visited Inverdoorn in May 2022 during our stay in Cape Town. We had such a wonderful experience. We stayed at Khughana (5 star tent). We saw all the big 5 animals but best of all - our pool got a daily visit by the elephants (using it as a water hole). ? above expectations!!! We went on all game drives offered and also on the late night drive seeing the beautiful star heaven. If you go - don’t miss this. The star heaven is so clear and spectacular. The food was great! Best of all - the barbecue that the rangers made for us the last night. Loved it! A big thank you ? from Sweden ??

This place was absolutely amazing. Ross, Joe, and Tenielle were the best hosts and rangers. The rooms were extremely nice, and definitely more than the three stars they advertised. The food and service were impeccable. We could not have asked for better service and a better group of people to work with. They made us feel like family.

Shindzela is an awsome and very comfortable 8 tented camp with bathrooms en suite. Casual and homely vibe. The food is always pleasant and plentiful. We had 2 warm days out of 3 - cold front and rain were passing over then. Always pack warm clothes just in case! All staff members are friendly and helpful. A very relaxed atmosphere in the lounge and boma area and around the pool. Great view on to the drinking spot for the game. Lots of time to relax and also get to know the other guests. Really enjoy staying at Shindzela.

We really enjoyed our stay at Orange river Country lodge. The Manager Pieter really looked after us. It was a true orange river experience - perfect for friends. The camping site was lovely with grass and reeds. The food was delicious. The dogs were great! The manager made a special arrangement for us to view soccer late at night.

This was our second stop on our honeymoon and really was a great find! The only negative is that Monzi is not in the hub of St Lucia, but what makes up for it is the privacy of the apartments, which are completely secluded and well maintained. I'd rather drive a few km's to get to St Lucia than stay in a bnb right next to someone else. Definitely won't be disappointed.
